Depression is a terrible thing. In a way it's actually worse than physical pain. Take it from someone who knows. It's hard when you're on top of the world than in the blink of an eye it's gone. They weren't prepared for life after fame. May they rest in peace.
Oh, I know that first hand. Physical pain can be mitigated in numerous ways. Depression -- severe, unending emotional anguish -- not so much. One feels stuck in it. It's an abyss with no bottom, smooth walls with no way to climb out, and darker than the darkest night. No stars, no moon, no lights, just perpetual darkness. Sometimes medication helps, sometimes it doesn't. Hell on earth!

Even though suicide is considered a grave sin by many organized religions, I feel that God is aware of the hopeless suffering these people experience, and also knows that it's a serious disease, and is merciful and loving to victims who cross over by their own hand. We mustn't judge, just be grateful we don't have to walk in their shoes.

How naive to think the child stars just died from depression. They were clearly abused as children. Everyone's mental health goes back to their childhood.

Many, many famous actors and singers when you hear their life story, 90% of them stated all the $ in the world couldn't make them happy as they were before being rich and famous. Why? Because EVERYTHING changes when that happens, including YOU as a person. And, that's when you start losing one by one the people you love the most, and the only ones left in your life are lawyers and managers who TELL you what YOU are going to do with all that money. When that happens, that's when YOUR mental, physical, emotional, spiritual health decline happens. And, the devil steals their soul, because they are made to believe life is not worth living. Nothing is more lonelier than when YOU are at the top, in your prime of life, yet you have nobody by your side.
