  • Hey guys!
    Today's case is a crazy one because it involves a UA-camr!!! Trey Sesler aka Mr Anime was a pretty big UA-camr in the anime community but his interests were not only anime, he had some darker interests which lead him down the wrong path and ultimately lead him to become a killer.
    As always please let me know your thoughts on this case down in the comments below & thanks for watching! xoxo

    Hi my name is Danielle, welcome to my True Crime and Makeup series! I’ve been interested in true crime for the longest time now, what started with me watching true crime on TV with my Nan from a young age eventually turned into studying for a degree in Law & Criminology.
    When I first watched Bailey Sarian’s series I was completely hooked, I loved how she had combined two of the things I’m most passionate about and delivered it so well. She totally inspired me to take the leap and do the same thing on my channel, so all credit for the idea goes 100% to her.
    I’m from the UK and will be covering cases from both the UK and internationally, let me know if there are any cases that you’d like to see from me! More cases will be coming soon so please subscribe if you enjoyed this video!

    This is the weirdest backstory for a murderer I've ever heard of. Seems like he was aware he was mentally ill and a danger to others, but he also had to amp himself up to murder and immediately regretted it, like he didn't want to actually do it at any step. Can't make heads or tails of this one.

      Honestly he wasn't even in his right mind like it's not that he consciously did this he was under alcohol drug abuse med abuse for a long time lived in isolation in his deceased grandma's house and had mental illness and his therapists did more harm than any good by almost experimenting on him. So it's not that he's a cold hearted evil person, he wasn't even thinking straight when he did this. But yes I understand murder is murder.

      Sounds to me like his psychiatrist failed; I'm halfway through a master's of mental health counseling program, and even I know that psych meds take more than a week to work. I hope the state pulled that psychiatrist's license due to malpractice. Now, obviously, there are things outside the psychiatrist's control, but they can keep people on a 72-hour hold, and, if need be, petition the court for more permanent arrangements.

      @@piranhasaurusrex you are correct. It takes 2-3 weeks for those kind of medications to build up in your system. One shouldn't even notice a change until around the 2 week mark. I'm medicated for anxiety, and my doctor had me check in after 30 days to see how I was doing and adjust dose, follow up after another 30 days etc until we got a good balance. 1-2 weeks is definitely not long enough to decide if it is working or not.

    • @three7446
      @three7446 3 роки тому +31

      Doctors cannot force you to take your medicine correctly. If you refuse to take it even if you didn’t take it correctly, we cannot make you against your will keep taking medications at home. If social work says he doesn’t quality for being kept in a group home, then that is also not the doctor’s fault. Yes, he is mentally ill. Yes, many tried to help him. But doctors are not responsible for you deciding to be a bad person. This guy has antisocial personality disorder: THERE IS NO CURE. The only “treatment” is usually prison for them. That’s it. If you want to be mad, be mad at how easy it was for him to get gun access despite him being diagnosed with mental issues and issues with threatening police officers. If you want to be mad, be mad that the welfare system in his state does not pay for group housing for people with his condition. None of this is his family or doctors fault.

      @tabortoothtiger7580 3 роки тому +216

      Well, the responsible ones usually don't let their kids carry them around willy nilly and abuse the power. Most kids that I know that have that privilege are usually very restricted and are always being supervised. They also only are aloud to use them for hunting purposes or for the gun range. It's not all bad. As long as the parents aren't being daft as fuck. Supervision and gun safety lessons are very important in that case. Most of the time, most parents won't even let the kid see the gun unless they are being supervised by the parents themselves. I think as long as people aren't being completely stupid, it's okay. Giving a kid a gun willy nilly though and letting them just run around with it isn't good though. Those are the people you need to report ASAP. Clearly their parents are neglectful and don't actually know gun safety or care about it or their child's well being. Yeah, the gun can be the kids, but in the right cases, it will always be the parents in actuality, and again, supervision is very important.

    As a mental health professional, you can only know what your client presents. And who knows how long he went at 13? If he saw a psychiatrist, he may have had an eval for meds only which there isn't much to medicate with what was described.
    Whoa...okay still listening. Drugs for bipolar disorder and schizophrenia? And Xanax and med changes every week? Sounds like a terrible psychiatrist.
    And whoa...he was from Waller? That's near where I've been living a long time. Never heard of him. Waller county has 55,000 people...it's very small. I quickly realized Texas SUCKS as far as getting help for mental health. I was told it's 48th out of 50 states in relation to a scale showing the best to worst states for acquiring mental Healthcare. The state does not have a good reputation when it comes to getting proper help with psychology and or psychiatry. This is exactly why I had to return back to Ohio. Also what seems to help is that when you go to see your psychiatrist you can ask a family member to accompany you, so they can tell the doctor what your mental state is like on a daily basis - you are less likely to know because they can see what you are like from their perspective. Schizo girl here to provide insight-
    Firstly, Trey's actions are so inexcusable, and I'm not trying to undermine the disgusting things he did. Nothing can excuse homicide / intent to hurt others.
    But I see a ton of people question "How could he kill them, and be upset about it?" Etc. And it is very evident that he suffered from chronic, untreated schizophrenia. Well, this might be long, but if you're interested, feel free to take a read.
    So you know how you get those intrusive thoughts? Sometimes it's like cutting veggies for dinner and your brain is like, "What if you just cut your fingers off 👀?" And you're kinda like omg, why would I think that??? Or to a lesser degree, you get it in your head to say something awful to someone for no reason,, and you question why your brain thought of something so out of the blue and terrible? Well in my experience, it's hard to snap yourself out of intrusive thinking sometimes, and you can get stuck in this limbo of dissociation. That disconnect from reality makes you question what is real, and what isnt, and sometimes when you're so deep into the episode of it, you can't even pose the question "is this real?" Because it's almost like being stuck in a dream-state. Usually my episodes are caused by waking up from a dream or nightmare, and not being able to distinguish the dream-state thinning from reality. And sometimes, I'm like "none of this is real anyway, so what does it matter?" One of the worsts so far for me is when I woke up from a dream that these men were trying to kidnap me from my mom's house. (She lives in Florida, and I've lived in Colorado for years by this point.) I woke up in my own bed, in my own home, and didnt recognize anything and thought I was kidnapped, and even had no recollection of my boyfriend of two years. I was scared of him, and felt like I couldn't trust him and had to call my mom, who had to explain to me that I've lived with my boyfriend in Colorado for years now. I took a short nap, woke up, and I was pretty much fine later. Thankfully, I have a GREAT support system, and have people I can discuss my illness with, so I am in great hands. But it's so difficult when you have no one. My symptoms started in my early teenage years, as most do unfortunately, and I was too embarrassed and afraid to get help at first, which lead to regular self mutilation and a few little stab marks in my mom's bathroom wall from an anxious episode 😅
    So I can absolutely understand how it can end up this way, but that's why its SO important to reach out if you're experiencing such symptoms, and SO important to be accepting of those with such mental illnesses. It sucks that American Healthcare is so janky. Similarly to Trey, my first therapist prescribed me endless refills of Xanax when I was 14, before I even finished the first bottle(s), and I hated it. I was a zombie every single day, and it didn't actually help at all.
    In my episodes, I have no control over what I say or do, and usually have little to no memory after I inevitably pass out, and wake up. Although my episodes are like seizure-ish convulsions and/or rocking back and forth in fear rather than an urge to go on a killing spree. 🙃 I hear things, see things and it's like constantly being jump-scared, until my brain decides to shut down, and I pass out and sleep. I don't have the typical voices that tell me to do things, and i'm very grateful for that, because I can't imagine how hard that is to live with. Sometimes these people are trapped in a shell of a body, confused, and with a brain that can only function normally a fraction of the time, and it's honestly so sad. I can't say I feel bad when they go and kill animals and people, but man, what a shame that the system regularly lets these kids down, and some parents are too blind to see the early warnings or just don't want to admit it to themselves.
    *Also, super glad this channel was recommended to me! I am at a point where I'm just rewatching my other true crime gals, so I love new content!

He clearly never gave it enough time TO work and to add alcohol to the mix, talk about big no no's all around. No wonder he never got better. His psychiatrist should definitely not have their license if they really prescribed him something new every week and didn't do any of it properly. ...or a third possibility. The American health care system. If America can be said to have a health care system as it only serves the interests of rich people, and doesn't serve them very well for inverse reasons. The third possibility involves the obscene profits made by pharmaceutical companies. Health, like education cannot be fuelled by profit interests. We must have higher principles driving these vital elements of civilisation. Western civilisation, which is the most successful civilisation the world has ever produced, situated health and education in Judeo-Christian principles. The Catholic Christian Church created and built Western civilisation after the fall of Rome in the 5th century AD. The internal imperative of Christianity is to emulate Jesus of Nazareth and heal those who they come into contact with. To ease suffering, and elevate the soul. The Catholic Church to this day provides nearly 30% of all the healthcare of global poor. The Catholic Church in the Middle Ages founded the university.
      These two religious principles of health and education interconnect, and form a whole.
      In the West's Ancient Scriptures, the prophet, Elijah (1 Kings 18:24) asked the people to choose between the pagan god, Baal or the Hebrew God, Yahweh. This is exceptionally important. There can be no sitting on the fence. We must choose. The difference between the pagan god, and Hebrew God is in the _relationship- between the divine and the followers. The pagan aims to manipulate the gods into doing their will. The Hebrew asks what Yahweh demands (i.e. The Ten Commandments) and promises to do what He wills.
      The Judeo-Christian God means we have sovereign principles that are considered more important than the wants of the body.
      One of the main things human's want is wealth. The following theological idea has been played out in history regularly. We have God (aka Yahweh) or we have Baal. Baal in modern ideology is secularism/atheism. History moves in a pattern both linear and cyclical. We move through time in a linear way; but within that there is a cyclical pattern. People have needs. They turn to God, and though obedience to the tried and tested Commandments society becomes harmonious, peaceful and productive. This condition makes society grow rich. Then people become arrogant. This is where we see a shift from pagan to secular/atheist. Remember the essence of the relationship with Baal is about man getting what he wants, not worship. Men reject God as unnecessary and backward. They think their money can insulate them from many of life's problems. God goes, and the worship of money takes His place. The cyclical journey back to chaos and poverty begins.
      America is a Christian nation; and founded on it's principles. But there is both nuance and complication to America. Firstly, there are alignments to strange forms of religion that calls itself Christian, but deviates from orthodox Traditional Christianity. Most (arguably all) of the roughly 42,000 ecclesial groups falling under the Protestant banner would have been condemned as heresies by the Apostles of the early Catholic Church. A Church that remains One, Holy, Catholic and based on the Apostolic teaching of those who walked on earth with Jesus of Nazareth, witnessed the main events of the Christian narrative, and were inaugurated as a Church by Christ himself. Protestantism came about roughly 1,500 years later by a disaffected monk. Along with heresy (distorting Catholic teaching) they went on to commit the other most grievous sin of the early Church, schism (dividing the Community).
      Understanding this we then look at modern censors citing significant numbers of those claiming Christian belief in America. Numerical data is not as important as where those people are socially situated. In education, media and entertainment - the central arenas of the public mind - secular/atheists dominate. There is a division in the US and West generally that has the ancient Yahweh or Baal question at the root. The trenches are dug, and the fight is on.
      The complexity is entangled further by some US Christians being against health care for all, a Judeo-Christian understanding of education, and policies to help lift the poor out of poverty. The secular/atheist progressive hard left behave heinously yet vote for political candidates with health, education and poverty relief on their tickets. I do not enjoy admitting this, but it appears to be true. I must qualify education, though. They believe in the importance of student grants, but for different reasons. Their reasons are not existential, but profit-based. Judeo-Christian education is about the evolution of the human soul, and the advancement of civilisation. It is not simply about money.
      I am a theologian, not a healthcare professional (which should be obvious to anyone bothering to read this) but I see the problems highlighted in this video, and cited in this comment rather differently. I accept that medication is appropriate in some cases of mental illness. But so many of the problems that currently have medication thrown at them have a different cause, so require a different solution.
      Unfortunately, the progressive hard left, armed with cultural Marxism, are doing all they can to silence freedom of speech. The answers to fundamental questions that urgently need to be addressed, are far away in an era where if anyone dares say anything the progressive hard left atheists disagree with, they risk being cancelled, denounced or persecuted.
      The communist, Noam Chomsky once noted that "If voting could actually change anything, it would be illegal". It is true that politics is just showbusiness without the happy ending. They keep us distracted with catchphrases and bunting, but the politician rarely makes any changes or even does what he promises to. It was all just a ticket to nowhere. Those who really run the show are not visible to the people.
      I don't pretend to know all the answers, but I know my answer to the prophet, Elijah.
      I choose Yahweh. All the rest will follow.

    I really liked the way you deliver these cases. I don't know what to even think of this guy he was obviously struggling with his mental health and drug abuse. He wasn't getting the correct treatment for his condition the fact he voiced all these very disturbing murderous thoughts online to me seemed to be a cry for help and he could have been stopped if people took all this with the level of seriousness it deserves. He was on the verge for a while in front of so many people and yet no one did anything about it. Also... IDK why I always have had a feeling that something similar could end up happening with a couple of other youtubers that are actually kind of big... I've always got a very eerie feeling when it comes to. ONISION I hope I'm wrong but his behavior throughout the years just keeps getting darker and concerning in my opinion.

If someone knows they have their parents wrapped around their finger, they’re not going to try and grow up. To me, he seems very narcissistic by likening himself to serial killers of notoriety. The way he was ruminating and obsessing on it "I don't fit the criteria" makes me think it played a part too.It's crazy how the brain does these things to people. It sounds like he really just wanted relief from his thoughts.
