thanks for review it. i play league for 5 to 6 years now. the game is 5 vs 5 players, the characters have lore but not all players know the lore, so to make a point people dont need to know league to enjoy this show. the players will catch the references thats for sure. but the serie does a great job on telling the storie so anyone dont be left out.
to me was 10/10, it has so much heart into it, on storie , animation and in fight scenes.
i got sad at end of episode 3 and i bet people that dont play league got sad aswell while watching the episode.
I didn't even know it was a game, but I fell in love with this show! Stunning visuals, but not just that, the story is so well developed, great set of characters and nice world building. It's also an emotional rollercoaster. The end of Arc 1 was heartbreaking.
Been playing since early 2010 and following the lore since they started doing something about it - 6 -7 years ago or so - and I find Arcane fantastic. It respects the known lore of the universe and the characters while adding new things.
if they're going to release this, then it makes sense that each character gets their own story in packs similar to Marvel or DC, but better! We don't need a generic League of Legends Movie, instead build up & focus on stories and characters arcs. giving newcomers a chance to learn the lore and explore the past and future of League of Legends. :)
I've never played League, but I absolutely ADORED the lore for around 3 years.
Viktor and Jayce's story is gonna go crazy, trust me

I’m genuinely shocked how stunning and cinematic this series is. Didn’t expect this kind of quality from a video game adaption. Massive surprise for anyone
if you watch their music videos and animated shorts they are at the top of the game for years, they produce "concept videos" that look better than actual music videos do these days... so the stunning looks were kind of expected but they even kicked it up a notch and the story building... the writing ... what maniac did they found to write that... yes it exceeds any expectations but doing that is kind of their thing.

hope it surprises alot of people, and writers did a good job on the story, people dont need to know league to get at all to enjoy this show, the characters was well developed.
I know grace Randolph rinks it’s the second coming of Christ so I think a lot of people will like it, even people who haven’t played the game

As a gamer I was already pretty interested in checking out. I used to play LoL alot and was very intrigued in checking this out. I am pleasantly impressed and excited for the rest of the series 🔥 I love it so far. I'm excited to see Powder become a badass character moving forward 😎💜

I've seen nearly 40 new shows this year. And this might be the best. Between this and Succession
Congratulations on getting 100K! This is only the second (maybe third?) video of yours that I have watched, the other one being where you were so accurate on the Academy Awards picks (I think that was the award ceremony).
Thank you for the review, I will check out the show (I was skeptical before that I was potentially being sold a hyped-up show like others have sold me series).
as a long time player since S2 then switch to Wild rift because of lack of time, I felt that everything is stitching up in my mind. Get Jinx video to all champion trailers and lores that I've read. It brings back memories and joy.
THIS SHOW IS SO GOOD. I WAS IMMEDIATELY HOOKED
The lore of this game is deep and rich, you’re going to see a lot of cool ass storylines. Wait till you see Ionia.
This show blew my mind into a different hairstyle. Better than I expected? No, it was better than I would have ever imagined. As to how it pertains to Runeterra (League of Legends universe), it's an extremely small snippet though the location is probably the most human-centric insofar as storyline is concerned. (their are other areas that near Zaun/Piltover as well, though it's not on the level)
Apart from this series being amazing and so good that it even hooks up people unfamiliar to the game with powder storyline that becomes this so much more beyond the harley quinn persona, shes crazy, shes funny, shes badass and with specific humor style. This is just a scratch on the League of Legends lore, one of the 'zones' from the game, but there's so much more and I hope this series become so epic, that we get to visit other cities and characters that are the heart of the Leagues world.

Yea definitely Keep covering it! I really Enjoyed it when I watched all 3 episodes also Glad Netflix doing in like next Saturday and the next Saturday after that which is pretty cool within itself! I hope they make more League of legends like this or etc! I really like the Story the Steampunk aesthetic and of course the Animation! Remember the episode from love death and robots volume 2 with the train creatures the animation reminds me of that but more high res!

I'm a diehard League of Legends fan; have been playing since the game released. Going into Arcane, I was convinced it would be horrible like so many video game adaptations have been in the past.
So glad I was wrong. This show is a masterpiece. My girlfriend doesn't play League & only knows a few names from when she'll watch me playing & she's loved it!
Highly recommend the show.

The origins' story of Vi and Powder (a.k.a. Jinx) is a mystery to both gamers of League of Legends and newcomers alike, so Arcane is a godsend. Same can be said about Viktor and Jayce, but both of them have more stabilished lore along the years.

Episode 3 really caught me off guard. It was the best episode so far in the seri s and was one of the biggest gut-punches I have seen in a cartoon rivalling the Siege of Mandalore arc in The Clone Wars.
Arcane is exceeding my expectations, the characterization is so well done, their actions make sense, they feel like real people. And the art is muah chefs kisses, this is probably the best animated series I’ve seen

I honestly think it is even better, as a viewer, IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR with League of Legends. Because...the first three episodes were written so well...and I am a League of Legends player, a fan of the lore and stories surrounding the characters and the game itself and i am utterly MINDBLOWN at how well written were the first three episodes. Imagine from the context of a regular viewer who doesn't know who is Jinx, Vi, Jayce, Warwick, Caitlyn, Heimerdinger, Viktor, Ekko. They have written all of these champions from the game itself so well... I am very very pleased that it exceeded all of my expectations and, to be honest, it is possibly the best start of a series that i watched for a very VERY long time. Possibly since Game of Thrones aired 10 years ago...
Really wish streaming services would always just drop the season at once across the board. This isn’t cable tv.

I find it really cool that Yuri Lowenthal of Playstation's Spider-Man fame is voicing Mylo.
The Jayce and Viktor story is really cool. It is definitely in the early stages.
I know nothing about League, but honestly, I enjoyed the show. And I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the episodes.
I just watched the first episode, and I was extremely surprised at the quality of the show. The characters are very well-written and developed. The world in which they live is very intriguing. The animation was simply amazing. The level of detail and the dynamic quality of the animation really impressed me. After one episode, I would give this show top marks. I can't wait to watch the next episodes.
Man the artstyle and animation and the whole cinematography is topnotch. One of the top quality animated shows I've ever watched on netflix.
In terms of lore , yes the series is accurate , in the game each character has his own lore, background story , for example we know Viktor and Jaycee worked together , we Know Jinx and Vi sisters , we know Heimerdinger is a scientist ... etc , but there are manythings that are left unexplored on purpose by Riot games , they kind of make Characters stories a little bit open for additions . because they add new champs in the game and they must fit in story and lore . and to clarify things a little bit for non league fans , the series until now , showed only 2 cities Piltover and Zaune . There still soo many other champs from different places , Shurima , Ionia , Dacia , Noxus , Shadow Isles , Belgwater, each has it's distinct theme and style. Noxus are the one you don't mess with and pray they don't invade you.

I have never played league- the series peaked my interest because I'm a huge val fan (and ofc the series is produced by riot) and oh my god the way they animate is just so good at conveying expressions and emotion

I am so sure that Vander is Warwick. Vander's snarls is just like Warwick. Part of warwick's lore says, "Warwick struggled to recall a single memory from his past... all he could see was blood. But then he heard a little girl screaming. Screaming something he couldn't understand. It sounded like a name."
and what did we see at the end here? Him at the blink of a near death scenario all in blood, jinx sitting right next to him, screaming for a name, Violet.
Also his title.
I’m not familiar with the game, but really enjoyed the first 3 episodes. Along with that, I must point out, the younger sister overly reacted and look like she went crazy on a dime, for no reason. That was baffling. But again overall enjoyed it. Great review

The difference between an League of legend player , and a not league of legends fan, the first already recognize the character but wants to know how things happened to make them as we know them . and the other watches to know what will happen .

This is one of the best animes period to come out, even if you disregard the LoL tie in.
let me explain something. the game is how war and disputes are handled in this world. people from each side pick "champions" and simply play the game but there is a world outside the game. now as far as i know they havent said what time frame the game is cause they have talked about past wars. so what this is doing other than being a back story it is showing us the world that is beyond the game.
I don't even play League and I am HOOKED.
This is a pioneer show. Nothing compares, the art or the story.
I really hope this show brings a lot of new players to the game… most especially wildrift. ❤️

I stopped playing the game years ago because it was a toxic mess and matchmaking was just grueling but I always loved the lore of the game so this was a treat for me, but it absolutely blew all expectations and I think it has the potential to explode in popularity way outside the game’s fanbase
