Huge TIP!!! Start with the interior first!! Then work your way out. Most women ( who, by the way are giving the final say) couldn't care less about the mechanical exterior options. They're wanting to see the interior and if it's practical and or nice!! Start there first.

We loose out if you don’t have washer and dryer. A must for us with traveling. I hate to use public washers.

You shared the price point, features that were unnecessary as well as features that were “well thought out” and gave us your perspective on the exterior features track system which I think is extremely invaluable info. That is the most value for money i have EVER seen
It might be helpful to start noting the external heights of these units. Having high ceilings is esthetically pleasing but the downside is the roof is high. We have an Arctic Fox 27-5L that is only 30 ft long but it is 13.5 high. That can be a challenge just driving through the loops of some state parks. Don't ask my how I know.
Most fifth wheels are around 13.5 high.. we just took out the edge of our roof on Friday... I feel you.
Coffee station is great. Most typical RL units with coffee station right inside the door are not tall enough to lift the lid on a Keurig or even fit it. As a couple's coach, you need to go up and down stairs from the kitchen to the living room if watching a movie and want to make some popcorn, get a drink, etc. I guess this is why the RL units are by far the most popular. Front basement storage is small. Rear is way too much and as you stated, prone to overloading with weight. RL designs are still the best for couples. Sometimes while thinking outside the box, you forget about the box.

My next RV is a 5th wheel front living. This one is perfect for a couple! We are FT RV’rs so this offers much of what we are looking for.
I wish some of these manufacturers would put nicer Automotive style tail lights on their trailers you pay so much money and you get a tail like that cost $5

I'm starting on the ground floor (literally), we are tent camping to get the basic feel of camping and the experience of visiting camp grounds. I bought a new 1ton diesel pickup a few yrs back (for at the time was insane over kill!) But it proves there was a hidden reason? For now I am saving for a new trailer and plan to retire snowbirding the country. 🏕️

I'm into the Gray and light cabinets. Queen bed fine for me. The island I would like square with rounded off corners. 😊. The Windows yes I like sleeping and relaxing like a vampire. Lol

Love the floor plan. Beautiful rig. Here’s a question just for fun. Could you place a tag axle near the back to take up the weight you might put in the back.
Like other Solitudes that I like there's very little payload capacity for all that storage space.
My next rig :) I hope currently in a 33ft Springdale bumper puller and would like to upgrade.
Personally I love the front living mainly because there would be a tall shower in the back but since more manufacturer's are going to the back storage it's gonna limit the options for a tall shower

I do like the front living room floor plans because it almost seems like the master bedroom is too small when they are in the front.
Just wondering is there enough cargo capacity to utilize all the storage and still fully stock
the unit.
For that MSRP, the washer and dryer, appropriate generator, tv in the bedroom, and a dishwasher should be included. Although, this might have a dishwasher but you haven’t been including that information (installed or not) in several of your recent videos.
Perfect set up didnt seem to bad of a price either.

In the market to upgrade to newer fifth wheel. I am in it most of the time do lighter colors are a must. I feel depressed so I like lighter trims.
If you're a fan of piper you may know that her lates video is the last to leave the 10,000 rv wins it and i think not sure but this might be that exact same rv because of the color and interior

I have seen where you can’t have both couches pulled out for a bed on going rv. I think you should definitely check before you tell people they. I would like to know if this model can do that or not?
A great review. As an owner of this particular unit by grand design it is a wonderful 5th wheel. It definitely has a monstrous size and would definitely agree on the fact that a dually is recommended for towing. Keep up the great videos.
Pointless duel sink vanity, especially when there’s a half bath. That duel sink could be storage.
JD, IMO friction hinge entry doors are not a good combination with solid step stair systems. The door needs to be fully opened whenever the stairs are deployed or stored. Otherwise you’re going to damage something.
Another thought, the shades in the bedroom are pretty effective. We have a Solitude and with about 22 nights of camping we’ve yet to have any issues with getting the bedroom dark enough. OTOH, with our TT we had to clip some extra fabric over those shades to get things as dark.
All that Space and no generator?
Ceiling height in bathrooms are waisted space really, could use some extra storage. Very nice unit.
Not when your 6'5 like I am. It really sucks not being able to stand up straight. I've had to walk through units that I had to keep my head cocked sideways.
Not to mention only having a 2600 pound cargo capacity

Nice review. I really like front living floor plans but they don’t allow for space to haul a Harley-Davidson so I can’t even imagine ever owning one.

I believe a Riverstone or DRV would be your best bet to checkout. Look at as many mid-high level unit you can (over $75k)

Anyone have any tips? I have a 26ft 2020 Springdale 260 full time. HOW TF DO I OPEN THE BED STORAGE AMD KEEP IT UP SO I DONT HAVE TO HOLD IT. I can’t use it because to open it I have to lift it
If it is under the bed storage, I use a couple of pieces of wood and a couple of hollowed out stops to prop it up better because the struts are not enough to hold it up on its own.

I'd need a wife an about five kids to feel comfortable in that thing. I wouldn't travel in it than I'd park it on farm an just live in it.

One thing all manufacturers forget, women like to be able to take a bath because we have to shave, it is harder to do in a shower.
Video after video... the interior and exterior design on all of these fifth wheels are basically the same old classic design, no matter the brand. This is a missed opportunity.
