I have those exact products right now! I was on to Zotos the second I heard it was a Deva dupe. I love that you showed the way you use the water to clump. I have VERY curly hair and even hair scrunching will disrupt the ringlets. So I know to not fight it and let it fall as it wants for the nicest shape. You look fab after babe btw xx

I’ve used tresemme for years and loved it. Last 3 years no poo. I used the conditioner as a leave in and never had problems till this year. My hair had become very dry and brittle. Even the normally rich dark color and bright silver grey looked faded. I switched to a sulfate free argon oil shampoo and separate conditioner and after just one use was shocked at the improvement. No longer dry and brittle and the color seems to be coming back.
I've lost count how many times I've watched this and other videos of yours, in an attempt to tempt a few curls into my wavy hair. The thing that stuck out most was that I've only just realised with this video (and has now stuck) is that you TIP your hair FORWARD when rinsing! I'm not the quickest chick on the block... I'm revisiting these posts now as I've just cut my hair much shorter and so have been wanting a refresher on washing and styling. Thank you for your new old tips ;-)
I just bought the Zoto’s shampoo and it’s as good as you say! I also bought the biotera gel as well but only on my daughter. I think she needs a cream and gel but overall very happy with both products!
Wow your wash day is so quick I’m still transitioning and if I don’t brush it I get major wet frizz no matter how much conditioner etc I use, your hair is so pretty xxx
I love that you are from Canada and can recommend brands that we actually can find in Canada. After watching other Curly Girl Videos and seeing products that seem to only be available in the US, it was becoming very frustrating to try and do this method.
This method for rinsing out the conditioner has been a GAME CHANGER for me! The curls around my face were always weird, stringy, and rebellious. With this method they form nice big juicy clumps! I do have to sacrifice root volume, but I’d say it’s a worthwhile trade. Thank you!
Hey Samantha, I totally agree with the root volume... if I clip my hair up with claw clips as it air dries or diffuse strategically I can combat this but it’s a challenge for me for sure.

Your hair looks so good girl you're tempting me so much to cut mine! At this point of my pregnancy (6 months) I'm torn between enjoying the length and fullness while it lasts or cutting the whole thing off. It becomes a drag sometimes when you have no energy for a wash and style routine, yesterday I just washed it and put leave-in and that's it didn't style, yet it still looked ok. I hope your beautiful hair survives the shedding phase I'm rooting for us! P.S. I miss die-fussing :D old timers will get it xD
Omg beautiful - I’ve been trying to continue the transition. My back curls, but my front is straight/wavy. I tried the Delman brush and finger coiling, but nothing works on my front without the curling iron. Frustrated for three years of trying every product. However, never used the ones you’ve recommended in this video, so will give it a try. Btw I’ve reduced my daily washing to twice per week.
I just went into a Sally Beauty Supply store for the first time in a few years. I hadn't known that Zotos (Biotera Gel) had come out with knock offs of Deva products back in 2019. As much as I didn't like No Poo or Lo Poo at all, I LOVE LOVE LOVE All About Curls NO Lather (it actually does lather a bit if you soak the hair one more time immediately before applying), the Daily Conditioner, and Divine Treatment Cream. The gal at Sally Beauty suggested I buy the trial size kit and do the super soak to get it to lather. Glad I trusted her and gave it a try. The scent is awesome, too.
I love the bioterra gel!!! Thanks for the recommendation! I want to give zoto's a try. I find if i use a leave-in conditioner, my hair feels too weighed down, even if I use a small amount of product. I was using the shea moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil, and it was just too heavy. My curl pattern is slightly less than yours so maybe that's why. I think i might do better with a Gautier Frautis leave-in - however, I think my hair looks fine with just the gel. Do you put a leave-in every time you refresh or do a wash day?

I've only just started the cgm and when I use the gel even if I use a tiny bit my hair goes really crispy (I'm aware I need a cast but it's like rock solid) do you think that the gel just doesn't work with my hair or is it because I've only just started the cgm and it's my hair that's the problem?
