    Wow you've been working out Suzie you look amazing and I love your hair, def going to buy Bioterra! Another way to get lots of curly volume after applying gel is to bend over in front of a tower fan on cool temp keeping it on low (less frizz) until its dry, no clipping up required! ❤ You get lots of volume w lifted up curls!

    My basic routine is so similar to yours! My hair is a little longer (shoulder length/collar bone & layered ) In shower on wet hair: leave in or curl creme followed by gel, plop, air dry a little then top with mousse & diffuse. After experimenting I found that hard hold gels were too heavy for my hair type & that I had to change my styling products in the Summer vs the Winter. Where I live we have wet winters & very dry summers. Good to see you back & your hair looks great!

    Thanks for the video! Love it! I’ve not had as much luck with clumping right out of the shower as it creates a lot of really flat roots. Do you have any recommendations for breaking up the clumps to account for let’s say… 2 “layers” of hair? Like the top of the head through the crown as one layer and the bottom half as the second layer, just to get them off the scalp more? Thanks!

      Hello, Lyndsay!
      I left this comment for Susie and maybe you can help me too! Thanks 🌟
      I've been buying that gel for two years now because you recommended it and honestly it's everything. Now I see that it's owned by Zotos and not Naturelle, I don't know if it's the same company with a different name.
      Also, I noticed that in this new version by Zotos they changed the formula, I know it because I have the two versions and I can compare them directly.
      In the Zotos version the perfume is like the 9th ingredient on the list, and in the Naturelle version is the last one. You can definitely smell the difference.
      I was wondering if the new Zotos version has given you the same or better/worse results?

    Thanks again Suzie for a great short clear video. I find Bioterra not strong enough to hold my curls and prevent frizz. However, I think I may need to back off some of my curl cream or just go with my leave in conditioner and gel. I do like Ouidad Heat and Humidity gel in the hot humid weather of summer. My hair is fine and thin with a fair amount of gray so I am still figuring out the best combos for me. The Tre Luxe line has won me over but I have so much Bioterra gel on hand I want to also find the best combo using it as well. The styling techniques you demo'd are really good. I have heard that breaking a cast with some hair oil is helpful to seal in the moisture..or using before applying gel ...still playing around with best approach for me. Thx again.

    • @CurlySusie
      @CurlySusie  Рік тому

      Hi Helen
      I’d go less cream & a harder hold gel or mousse. Hair oil NEVER works for me… even just to break the cast. It gives me a ton of frizz for some reason so just keep that in mind. Thank you for watching. ❤️

    Susie have you tried letting your hair air dry all going back off your face? I do this and hover dry to set my hair so it will stay back and then when it has dried completely fluffy and let it fall where is wants.....left or right. I get height and interest with the hair falling because of the curl clump pattern. I also only use the bowl method with the mousse or gel plus conditioner and water it is easy peasy and I get great curl clumps and then I plop in a micro fiber turban. You have more curl then wave IMHO plus I only use those two products as well best results......THANK YOU!!!♥
