    Welcome to our channel!
    We’re sisters & best friends on a mission to help women finally escape the seemingly endless cycle of yo-yo dieting.
    After years of jumping from one fad diet to the next, we finally discovered the path to creating lasting results without extreme restriction or endless hours of cardio.
    But our transformation was more than just physical. It up-leveled our health, our relationships, our careers, and even our finances. We felt strong, and capable of achieving anything. We felt confident and ready to take on the world.
    Our transformation was so fundamentally life-changing that we made it our responsibility to share our knowledge with as many women as possible and give them the tools and education they need to create a healthy, powerful life.
    Since then, we have helped hundreds of women lose fat, create a better relationship with food, regain their confidence, and form a new identity they never thought possible.

    Basically aim for 50 g of protein per meal if 3 meals (one meal can be a protein shake with 50g powder protein). 50g of protein= 161g of chicken, 192g of beef, 208g of shrimp, 7 eggs, about 1.5 cans of tuna. Hope that helps!

    Eggs, smoked salmon, cottage cheese, quinoa, smoked edamame, soy milk, durum wheat pasta, spirunlina, jerky, walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, chicken, the options are endless
    Strawberry shakes with spinach and a scoop of plant based protein powder is the most delicious breakfast
    Cinnamon oatmeal with a scoop of vanilla protein powder
    Smoked salmon has 25g protein
    Cottage cheese has 19g!
    Siete is a brand that makes awesome almond tortillas
    Smoked edamame has 18g! Complete blend of amino acids
    It’s not just about the protein. It’s 100% about the amino acids that make up the protein. Leucine is so important.
    Deli meat and bacon are trash and full of nitrates. This video is not a good recommendation for those looking to increase their protein.
    Check for all 9 amino acids

      Good info. I'm 68, male, 175lbs, 5'11". Don't think I've ever eaten anything over 80g a day. ! meal a day. When I was 48 had a body fat of 10%, worked out, cycled, ran, was lean then at 160. I kept a very slow metabolism, so my intake didn't need as much. Had more energy than two folks. I believe there can be a happy balance but do not think we need as much to survive and be motivated in any sport endeavor. I do think a cleaner protein intake is important. Yes, as much as 150 tp 200g a day for younger folk who might be super active is recommended. I remember back when working just in 2023 fellers at work would be putting down three, four and five meals a day, at 56 yrs old. But, the flip side to this is the # of bowel movements a day was 2 or 3. Here is my take on what this also does to the infrastructure of the body'd internal workings, it speeds up the process for failure. One's longevity is based on many things, but like a set of tires on a car or fuel mileage, one can start to see that if obtaining the best mileage is important than learning to be light on the pedal makes sense when going the distance. I have studied this criteria for well over 40 years, there is no quick remedy for near anything other than good common sense practices. I have maintained an organic food intake most of the past 30 years, beef maybe a dozen times a year, chicken & turkey on occasion. Low on dairy, mostly Alaskan salmon. I've kept it as simple as one can, basic, boring. Remember, when at the pump putting gas in. Does the premium really get you better mileage? This is my field so believe me, all of the gimmicks are just that. Break it down & one will find that it's easier just to fill up and move on down the road. Same with your food intake, keep it super simple, reliable and consistent, our body like our vehicles need maintenance but do not need all the fanfare everyone wants you to believe just to get down the road as the same in our daily life adventures. Make a plan, be consistent, adjust when needed, evaluate every so often and enjoy things. One of my internal sayings is, "If you eat, one should exercise". Another is, " Always Something". As we get older, it becomes increasingly more difficult to be flexible, so movement starts to become impeded. Plan on it, it happens to all. This year my outlook is a 35k trail run, 300 miles a week on my road bike, 100 a week on my gravel bike, 2 days a week swimming, 20 hours a week in my home gym, & at YMCA for the more rigorous leg machines needed. Taking the grandkids fishing & camping, learning to fly fish, a half dozen precision long distant rifle matches, honing my pistol skills more, maybe a couple first response inter city invasion tactical classes, and, getting back into my classical piano, besides reloading for all of those weapons described.
      The jist of what have mentioned may be a bit more than folks want but, here is the culmination to this info point. To do this one must eat properly to have the needed energy. Life is most definitely for the living. The advice I can offer here on just that is, live it by always keeping active. That engagement requires fuel. The best fuel that does not clog the pipes would be best. We all have choices, we all have our views on what works best and so on. Find your solution and fly with it. Remember that all of the experts over the years have said this is bad, that is good and visa=versa over time. We all know most things packaged have preservatives in them to some extent. This comes down to keeping up with your info at all times.
      We "ONLY" live just this one time. There is no reset to life's years and toads already traveled or the course a ship might take, but that of the possible needed corrections so that our journey and destination may become less problematic and possibly the destination further, plan for it, make it happen.......My younger foremen by 14 years used to say something to the rest of the crew when they were lagging behind, and most I could out perform in speed of application and work done........Be like Madge...."Just Get After It.". ......I still look 55, have the energy of a 40 year old but as I mentioned, I can feel the years starting to slow me down.......Another word folks......My mind is still saying go but.........the body is starting to say no.....Everyday is a one at a time nowadays. If you don't feel it or have a glitch that day, stop, evaluate, proceed with caution. If that means taking days off, then by all means, take that time. Remember once again, it's about getting to that destination and in the best way one can so take care of yourself, as no one else will.
      Thank you for all the information on this subject. I learn every day, it makes life so much more rewarding when we keep an open mind......

I can only eat egg whites in moderation.

    I look at cost, ease and efficiency so I use the approach of having a base of 5 foods that are easy to do and easy to get in bulk and require minimal preparation. I am not averse to preparation but it's really helpful to have stuff available when you don't feel like a lot of preparation, cooking and cleanup time. So Costco canned chicken, Costco egg whites, SFH Pure Whey, Oikos Triple Zero Greek yogurt, and nonfat cottage cheese. With these as a base, it's a lot easier to make other stuff like fish, turkey and beef (though I usually avoid beef), and foods that are under 50% protein.

      Eating more (and mostly) protein & fats instead of carbs will naturally make you eat less once you’re adapted to it… protein is extremely filling. Carbs make you hungrier, literally. They cause insulin to spike more than anything else and it keeps you addicted to them.

      @Phil Morgan,
      With those goals you would be wise to find a physician that specifically works with TRUE ketosis! This usually entails hospital stay where [you] can be consistently monitored. This is excellent for epilepsy__not sure about autism. In any case, don't mess around with this__you can get gravely ill or die if not done correctly!
      For diabetes, look into raw foods diet, "30 Days Raw". Again, under a physician's monitoring you can 'reboot' your body to function properly__however, you must remember: if you go back to old habits you will undo all your hard work!
      Hope this has been helpful.

    May I ask what your LDL-C cholesterol readings are? Egg whites are technically not whole. Protein powder same thing. Jerky is high in sodium and not a whole food. Protein chips also processed. (I'm not a purist but just pointing this out. It's still hard to get from whole sources without rather big meals for a woman and a lot more prep and cost,) Some vegetables, especially green ones, have a high protein content PER CALORIE, so they can up the content at a meal with more dense (but also fattier or starchier) foods.

      Most people are actually significantly under-eating when it comes to protein! I would start by tracking your food and seeing how much protein you are currently eating. Ideally you want to work your way up to a minimum of 100g of protein each day. You don’t need to worry about eating too much protein… but definitely pay attention to how your digestion feels as you start to increase the amount of protein you’re consuming. Hope this helps! 🙂

      Uh.. fat is not the problem. It’s all the carbs people eat with fats and proteins that causes more fat storage. If you eat mostly protein and fat, you will burn fat a lot faster because your body re-learns how to burn fat as fuel instead of primarily glucose (which comes from carbs, but your body can literally produce all the glucose it needs all on its own for specific functions that need it).

      @Cara Coates,
      Something I discovered, by accident, more than 30 yrs. ago, a simple test: do you get a lot of gas from eating dairy, cheese and eggs? Do you think you might be lactos intolerant?
      You may not be lactos intolerant, rather, be deficient in an enzyme that breaks down the protein in dairy, cheese and eggs.
      Try kefir, or goat milk/cheese, even better, sheep cheese__kefir is fermented, and the protein in the others are broken down a little so your body can digest them more easily. That's why 'in the old days' if a woman couldn't breastfeed for some reason goat or sheep milk would be a comparable alternative.
      Hope this is helpful.
