Welcome to our channel!
We’re sisters & best friends on a mission to help women finally escape the seemingly endless cycle of yo-yo dieting.
After years of jumping from one fad diet to the next, we finally discovered the path to creating lasting results without extreme restriction or endless hours of cardio.
But our transformation was more than just physical. It up-leveled our health, our relationships, our careers, and even our finances. We felt strong, and capable of achieving anything. We felt confident and ready to take on the world.
Our transformation was so fundamentally life-changing that we made it our responsibility to share our knowledge with as many women as possible and give them the tools and education they need to create a healthy, powerful life.
Since then, we have helped hundreds of women lose fat, create a better relationship with food, regain their confidence, and form a new identity they never thought possible.

    If you eat organic grass fed beef, the fat is actually very good for you. High in beta-carotene and good for your skin and hair. When ground beef is too lean, it can get dry very quickly and it’s not as tasty. But the key is getting organic grass fed beef.it’s superior to other forms of beef.

    I love Weight Watchers!! Following the program has helped me to so far lose 40lbs (and still counting). I noticed you didn't talk about Weight Watchers weeklies (and exercise). If you're addressing the program you need to talk about everything, not just points. I disagree with your "analysis". Regarding eggs, 1 whole egg may be 70 calories. But the egg white is 15 calories. When I eat eggs, I'll usually use three--one whole and just the whites without the yolks from the remaining two. That's 100 calories. I sometimes will just eat three egg whites place it in half of a whole wheat pita (1 point), add zero-point veggies and a small spinkle of shredded reduced fat cheese (1-2 points). I'll sometimes have that with maybe half a cup of black beans (0 points). Very filling!! Calorie counting is also restrictive and can cause you to become overly obsessive about caloric content of every ingredient in a food item. I find the points system a lot more friendly and easier to implement. And with Weight Watchers weeklies, you can accumulate any deficits for the week and apply them toward higher point foods. You're also "rewarded" extra points when you exercise/workout (which I do often). Any diet, regardless what it is, requires monitoring your intake so you can develop a more conscious and healthier relationship with food and eating and achieve a set goal. If the goal is weight loss, then change (which will be uncomfortable until it's not) has to happen. For me, I'm not going to give up on something just because it's hard or uncomfortable. Otherwise, how can I ever expect things to be different?

      Were super happy you found something that works for you, but it doesn't work for everyone regardless of daily or weekly points. When speaking with our clients, a lot who are former WW, it actually made their relationship with food worse. Some of them could not be around certain foods because they were too many points. Our goal is to educate those that you do not have to live and die by a diet, its okay to enjoy life and have fun foods.

    I've been on WW a week. Totaly changed my way of eating. If you hold yourself accountable you'll choose the healthier options and I've already lost 5.5lbs. Eating more than I normally would, but eating more wholesome food and feeling better. It's easy. Takes only minutes of my day to track and plan the next day. If you find it easy to count calories or if you've never really had a problem staying a healthy weight then I can understand why it would seem silly, but there's more to making good food choices than counting calories.

    It says zero points not zero calories, usually these are lean proteins, fruits, veggies etc. the point is to teach to lean toward healthier options without restriction and not over complicating. This is a tool and may work for some just as calorie counting works for some. There is no right or wrong but rather what is sustainable for someone so they don’t yo-yo weight

    • @luminu_official
      @luminu_official 8 днів тому

      A lot of people associate the zero points with zero calories, end up overeating because it doesn't count in WW so they can have there points for other meals. If it worked for you that's great, but it does not work for everyone.

    Weight watchers is amazing! Eat lots of fruits and veggies and free and low point items and eat the ground beef at dinner. I eat salad, pancakes, dessert, crackers, hummus, icecream, I just choose wisely on my points for breakfast and lunch. I had so many weekly points left over on my last day that I couldn’t even eat all of them. Tons of recipes on Pinterest and I am always full and satisfied.

    You have to know what you are intaking before you know how to cut back. That’s the thing no one talks about in food management is tracking your food as a habit and even after you are used to it and you decide to add new foods and recipes it’s important to see how it factors into your day. If you have no clue what you are eating really clearly then you can’t alter your intake. It’s a really hard thing but tracking helps so much.

    Boundaries. That’s the bottom line. Some people hate folks with strong boundaries and will literally leave interacting bc they don’t like that you say no and stick with it. The fallout of saying no sometimes is so heavy and harsh. People take it deeply personally and get insulted. I don’t know why but I do know it’s super hard to maintain a no with some folks especially the ones who act hurt and insulted so look pretend sad or angry and make you pay in another way. Sadly they maybe familu or close friends and you have to create a new mold of interaction whixh maybe painful or you may even end a connection with a person who can’t handle it or who is passive aggressive or using their “poor me I only meant well and you are mean and too restrictive to be fun or to feel close to”. They often give back anger or a heavy guilt trip. I personally could use lessons in how to rebound from what maybe a very toxic verbal hit when you lay down your boundaries. You can ge proud of yourself but also feel like you just went to battle just to try to take good care of your own goals and needs. How to rebound after that knock down by them is my issue.

  • @fragilefleur
    @fragilefleur Місяць тому

    I get it! And it happened to me even today while planning my nutrition plan for coming week. People have no clue what they are doing when they do this. Some folks need to just stay on their own side of the nutrition street and let you stay on yours. They pressure you bc they want it to be okay for them to eat it or they pressure bc they want the bonding or they want to control or minimize what you are doing often to make their discomfort with it be relieved. Insinuating you aren’t “lightened up” or “relaxed” about food insinuates you are a stick in the mud and no fun to many. On the side of the person doing the nutrition plan they are very closely working thru a lot of changes in lifestyle to deal with a health issue or to optimize their health often with guidance by a nutritionist or healthy eating plan and these efforts are very hard and often discounted. People who have diabetes or eating disorders or need specific diets for their health have to try hard to be on these specific nutrition guidelines and having someone push for you to eat outside of it is just rude and controlling and unsupportive just to name a few. Very codependent for some and destructive to the individual on the plan and the relationship between the two having this interaction. Saying “really?!” With sarcasm is harmful and shows a rude level of disrespect for the person on a nutrition plan. It would be more supportive to offer once if you feel you must and if someone says no to take no for an answer. Or better yet eat the food you want and let others eat their own foods. Realty is ppl don’t understand what it feels like and how it sucks to be on a plan and while it’s good for us, it’s hard to have ppl pushing food that we can’t or shouldn’t have in order to complete our goals for a healthy body or treating any number of conditions like diabetes, chrohns, celiac, gastroparesis, etc etc. what’s just a cookie to some can be devastating to another.
