I'm back! After a long bout with covid in December, I'm still dealing with a sticky high histamine state, but staying positive and being very careful with what I eat. Cutting out grains helped SO much with my mental symptoms, so I've been eating a lot more dishes like this chia flax pudding, which freezes beautifully. Drop a comment with your favorite topping, if you try the recipe! 😄

MY STORY: Following many years of worsening health issues, I tried a low histamine diet after hitting rock bottom both mentally & physically- and it worked! So I started a blog (lowhistamineeats.com) documenting the recipes I made within my limited foods list, and eventually shared the research and diet plan I created & followed after the many doctors I saw were of little to no help. In the years since, I've continued to share new recipes & info I uncover about the diet and the relatively unknown mast cell activation syndrome I was eventually diagnosed with.
DISCLAIMER: this is my personal research and diet information that I've followed as I've dealt with systemic inflammation the last several years. I am NOT a doctor, and you should always consult a medical professional before undertaking a change to your diet.

You are very welcome!! I only wish I could make more, but for now, two a month is doable, and I'm afraid any more might burn me out. But I have a poll up on the channel now if you have any particular recipes you'd like to see. Thank you for watching!! 😄❤️
@@lowhistamine I totally get it!! Take care of yourself first 🙂
Thanks for the video! Looking forward to more!!
Thanks, Lisa! I'm just uploading a new one now! :D
Hi, thanks for these dessert recipes. I realised that a Low histamine diet helps me with my long COVID. I don’t tolerate jams , spices ( except turmeric and coriander powder) or any dairy. Please share the recipes for tahini and a few dressings.
PS: I can’t tolerate anything citrus 😢either
it's my pleasure! Those recipe are all linked in the description, if you'd like to try them. Cutting out any types of foods is hard, so sending love & hugs your way!
Thank you! They all look delicious! I’m going to try the blueberry one, and the nut butter, or probably all of them. lol
It's my pleasure!! I hope you enjoy them, and do give the plain vanilla version a try, too, if you enjoy the texture!
Having never tested any of these ingredients im curious how you would test tolerance to flax seeds and chia seeds without mixing with coconut milk as i also need to test that.
you could mix each one in water individually when you feel ready to reintroduce them. :)
privilige of women. that glass bowl is my minimum regular plat i eat from. i burn 2400 passively a day plus all the active. i really have to think about healthy foods that wont break my bank hah. but flax seeds are a stable. its half the price of chia.
for fast breakfast i use skyr/greek yogurt with most of these aditional ingredients. it gets the pudding consistency immidiately and has very little sugar to protein compared to regular milk.
In mosts contexts this 'privilege' is a barrier to women reaching a healthier weight as quickly & easily as men - so it's all relative. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
