It starts in the homes...Parents need to only have kids that they want & can provide for (especially emotional support). People need to heal prior to kids. This is a huge problem! If we nurture kids better, they won't be so attracted to toxicity & dysfunction. The partners we choose are very often a reflection of the relationship we have with our parents. Most people didn't have healthy parents, upbringings, nor felt loved by their parents. All of this shows in how we respect ourselves, handle romantic relationships & treat sex.

I tell my kids ( I have 2 teens), having sex is for grown ups only. IE couples who are established and can afford to have & raise kids. If you can't do that, then you shouldn't be having sex. Period. Kids are expensive and deserve to have parents who are going to love them, want them, & do what's in their best interest at all times. Having kids require sacrifice, sacrifice of yourself, your money, & your time. If you are not ready to make that kind of sacrifice, don't have sex. If you have a lack of self-control, then use consistent birth control, at minimum- wrap it up. I haven't even touched on all the STD's out there. Not to mention, we live in a world where people will use you for sex. Self preservation is OK.

We should ALWAYS be careful and not be reliant on everything else to clean up the messes we make; pick up your own mess without the drama. The education is there, the resources are there (and some of them are completely free), there is no reason for unwanted pregnancies in 2024 (in America, anyway) unless women are just being careless, reckless and irresponsible intentionally and that's childish. (Excluding women and girls who are impregnated against their will. They don't represent the collective of women who abort though.)
I think that this generation is lost
From all the previous generations dealing with single motherhood and how ridiculously difficult it can be, i would think this new generation would learn from it. Seems like it will take gen alpha to not repeat the cycle. This new generation keep treating the most serious things like they are jokes and then want to whine and cry, “woe is me”, when they put themselves in these situations. I’m so tired of these cycles not being broken.
I think if the single mothers then were honest about how tough it is then the younger generation wouldn't see it as a possibility.

I really hate how everyone in this generation is being represented. Not all of us have no sense or just excepting these types of behaviors. I really wish the older generations would realize that my generation is still affected by the older generations. Are we going to act like our grandfathers didn’t have kids with other women in the same neighborhood. Are we going to ask like our grand fathers and great grandfathers wasn’t deadbeats. Stop grouping a whole generation into a group. She’s 19 and I’m 21 her friends on the video shows how the young lady is and the type of friends she has.
We get your point, but do you get ours? It seems like for every young person like you, there are 20 like the young people in the video. So, thats why we are alarmed. The little 5 year olds sing dirty songs isn’t cute. But someone thought it was, recorded it and posted it. And while we don’t know how those little girls will turn out and we hope for the best, history indicates they will repeat these patterns. We want the best for everyone in your generation. We want your generation to learn from our mistakes. But in some ways, there is no comparison because we didn’t grow up with the same amount of damaging influences as you do. Be proud of self restraint and self respect and please know that we are proud of you.

They just don’t know that life gets harder when you have a child. People will promise everything in the heat of passion but after the high, he’s moving on to the next one…

Ok, so my 1st post was while I was watching the beginning. She has mental health issues, that's sad. There is adoption as an option. However, we just need to pray for her & this new generation as a whole. So many men & women have been traumatized as children, sexually, which leads to promiscuity, insecurities, & low self-esteem. I'm about to be 43 & still struggle with those issues. I used to settle to feel loved because I felt unloved as a result of sexual abuse that I did tell yet nothing was done by the people who should've protected me & all of my uncle's victims, which included his own children. I empathize with her & understand how she might feel like it's the only way. Clearly, she is lacking a strong support system. Mental disorders are real & they can lead to harmful responses including suicide. Thank God I know Him, because despite have mental health challenges, I am not suicidal, have not been, & gratefully didn't experience post partum depression.
I set in my heart the following: if a man shows me with actions and words that he does not care for me or that he has no feelings for me, or even that he sees no future with me...then you can't have me any kind of way. You are not worthy to share my space or my time. You don't even deserve to be my friend.
I peeped those "curtains " too🔹️she could have given the child up for adoption, or better yet, should not have gotten pregnant in the first place..she should have known better

Honestly, if I were to call all my friends and tell them I'm pregnant, they'd ask me the same question. Not because im out here loose and promiscuous. Its because I'm all the way single and not messing around with anyone. But of course this my situation and hers is completely different.

I feel bad for her. couldn't imagine I would have been devastated as well my mental health wouldn't have been able to take that hit. I wish her the best I just pray she give up trying to do this thing called life herself and got o God..... its hard out here for us young girls especially thats why that bible verse, "Guard your heart above all else it determines the course of your life" stays in my head I don't even know the exact scripture but thats what it says and I hold on to it. I pray she get better and learn to just keep her legs close. sex is evil when you and the other person aren't one.

She is mentally ill. I had a cousin who was bipolar and she did all kinds of mental stuff. It was sad she started self medicating with drugs and eventually died.
These woman’s choices baffle me ALL THE TIME
