Thanks for this video! You just solved a question I had about how to implement the circuit for a lightbar that ONLY comes on with the high beams, yet also has a manual on/off in the cab. (So it doesn't come on with the high beams,) but most videos/instructions leave this necessary detail out. I'd been thinking that laying out the circuit pretty much the way you had your driving lights circuit laid out would work correctly, and you just verified it. Thank you!
@@HelpMeDIY turn off the lights when starting a vehicle (my motorcyle does this). disable the use of a convertible top when starting the car. disable the air conditioning compressor when the ecu detects an overheating situation. (my sports car does this). the list is just about endless as to what one may want to prevent from happening while something else is happening, assuming the thing that IS happening demands a relay. of course, the thing that one wishes to prevent from happening need not involve a relay.

+@lindsayandrews5707 you’re welcome! Glad it was helpful 😎🍻
I learnt more from you than anyone else. Very good tutorial. Basic but thorough enough for anyone to understand. Cheers
+@frankcaccamo3568 thank you 🙏 🍻
You earned the title of professor
+@AP-wt9yh 😁🍻
Well done , appreciate the “crib notes” version. I’ve always been hesitant to try and solve anything electrical.
+Jim McCarthy same here! Starting to get more comfortable though.
I enjoyed your video. It will help me with adding adding a relay to a convertible top switch.
+@nornibres great!🍻
Thanks, I needed that like a refresher-course! It's been a while... ✌🏼😉
+Steve Armijo you got it! 🍻
Very very nice and clear
+@EvansChanda-og9pf 😎🍻
Great vid!
+@torbanberquier2271 thank you! 🍻
Well Done, Thanks
+@timburns9909 you’re welcome 🍻
87a is convienent to use when it's necessary to turn something off when you turn the relay on.
+deep6this deep6this do you have an example?

@@deep6thisdeep6this92 great examples, thanks!
Won't you run the battery or higher current flow through 30 and a lower current through 86?
+@Combatinho someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe there are and resistors out anything that would lower the current
Thànks.we.are.gettiñg.steady.but,surely.😅😅😅😅
+@StephenPudumo 👍🍻
