I agree. I'd rather watch Alash perform their music in its completely traditional way. I don't like how that guy had to come on and ruin it with beatboxing.
Well, I would imagine that they allowed him to be there. I would say they are friends. His name is Shodekeh, and he is a professional beatboxer. And yes, I think while it is interesting, it is not really what they should go for. After all, if it mixes with other styles, it is not pure Tuvan anymore. I also truly think that it did not enhance what the trio was accomplishing. It was more distracting than enhancing. But... on a musical level, I can relate to the attractiveness of cross-fertilization, and I would say that beat boxing is akin to what the Tuvans do... so there... lol. The fourth guy was trying to blend in as much as possible.
They have this song with the beatboxing in their album, so I assume they are very okay with this. I honestly don't think it sounds bad, it just adds some percussion to the tune and also is a cool fusing of old and new (kind of like electro swing!)
This is the sort of vocal music that transcends language barriers. You don't have to know the lyrics to feel moved by the singing. You can just feel the emotions behind it.

It seems like to me they all originate from the same nomadic people.
moto G4 the Tuvan republic is close to Russia and the people who lived there where Turkish Arabian and Mongolian people who moved there
That’s about all I know google “history of the Tuvan republic” to learn more because even I don’t know the full history and I’m Tuvan myself
@@1782adnan aha so a bit of this, a bit of that but sounds like probably mostly of Mongolian origin.
Like most humans today, we all have multiple ethnic genomes in our DNA makeup.
Does it matter? No not really. What we all have in common is that we are all "human beings".
moto G4 exactly who cares about what your origin roots are we should respect our fellow humans
Watching that last song makes me really miss Avi with Pentatonix, and gives good insight into how magical that coming together was with Kevin to create that special Pentatonix "sound."
I got tears falling on the second song ...
Why would anyone put a thumbs down on this? Just move on to something else without spreading your negativity!
It opens your heart chakra if you just close your eyes and feel. Absolutely beautiful 🙏
The guy on the left clearly didn't agree with the idea of fusing beatboxing, he's like "You're killing my vibe bro! "
At least get the beatboxer a better mic lol
I agree. I think it spoils the beauty of it.
But i think it was more a thing of how uncomfortably close the beatboxer was to him ahaha
The performance begins at 1:21.
Thanks
SOMEONE PIN THIS MAN!
Hiking never felt so cinematic and immersive at the same time, this is a serenade to culture and nature
Удивительно красивое и завораживающее звучание горлового пения с традиционными тувинскими инструментами. Благодарю!
I can't respect anything any more than I respect this talent.
I could listen to this for days
the Flute ...oh man...I mean we all know these pipe thingies...but this type....with the wind whispering while he plays it...warm and very touching.
Never thought id like something like this.
But this really touched me. I am instantly a fan.
one of the most unique, beautiful song and amazing low voice technique. amazing creation by the traditionalist.
Where have they been all my life?! I just discovered them and I just love them. What an amazing sound! It really touched me deeply.
Something about this just hits the soul....I have tears in my eyes and idk why....
The low note sung by the guy in the middle in the second song was an A1 just so people know
The stuff they put on steaks?
and in the 3rd song he sang an E1 13:07
A Cow I’d start eating meat again if they could bottle his voice and use it as seasoning!
@raimesey That is a brand new sentence
