Thank you so much for watching! ❤️ Coming up next week I fly to Las Vegas to explore the Valley of Fire & Bryce Canyon 🔥 Make sure you hit that notifications bell to stay in the loop! 🔔 Otherwise, what was your favorite part of this video? That boogie board scene was pretty ridiculous, right? 😂 Also, if you would like to support this channel, check out the all new Travel Deeper Merch Store: traveldeeper.shop
Man, you really get San Diego. You do SD like locals do. We have nightlife like any big city, but San Diego is really a daytime town if you want to make the most of it. Take advantage of things you can't do in most cities and the amazing weather. I also appreciate how you don't yell into the camera trying to amp up the video.
You should've done a night cap hanging at the pier in Coronado - there's a perfect little spot to sit and look over the SD skyline. Great video. Reminds me how lucky I am to live here!
Oh that's a great idea Renee! I love going over to that little beach next to the pier in Coronado and looking out at the city at sunset!! We are very lucky to call this place home! 🙏
In living in San Diego since I was born in 1954. So much has changed but so much still the same. Some of the best food on planet earth and definitely so many wonderful things to do❤❤ my hometown. Great videos you’re doing on San Diego
Man brings back my good old days.beautiful sunny days.had my own auto detailing company then special touch auto detailing we were mobile. Went all over.made a lot of money.but I left and had 2 kids and 2 strokes since then haven't been able to get back.miss it everyday
I was in San Diego for a couple of days twenty years ago and I don't remember much. This film clip makes me want to visit again. Nice place, good food and good company. Stay safe and have fun!
SD is heaven on earth, for me at least Like this excellent video captures the trails, ocean, and food/drink remain epic even after many years "America's Finest City" 😎
I knew San Diego was beautiful but oh boy did you make me fall in love with my city again. Crazy how you can live in a beautiful place but get fogged up with your daily work routine.
Cowles Mtn was the first thing I did when I got back home for a visit! We used to climb it daily! Shocked at how many people were doing it when I was last there in 2017. Didn’t used to be like that!
My phone was listening to my conversation today because I Said I want to go check out San Diego next time, just got back from laguna Beach and your video popped up in my recommendations!! Great video! Great spots to eat! Can't wait to check these places out!👍🌊
San Diego is the most beautiful city in the U.S. and there are so MANY things to do there. It’s not like LA or Orange County where the land is flat. The Little Italy in San Diego is vibrant with all of their restaurants and a must-see for tourists.
Great video - reminds me why I love living in San Diego so much. Thanks!! Oh, I also love the Crack Shack - doing an afternoon of wine tasting in Little Italy and finishing it off with one of their chicken sandwiches can be a great Sunday.
Oh man do I miss San Diego sooo sooo much. Visited a friend who lives in Pacific Beach just over a yr ago now before the pandemic started. What an amazing city. Loving the vids!
Great job - love the footage. I wish I had eaten a proper lunch so the video didn't make me super hungry and crave some bao buns! Looking forward to next week's video!
Amazing place in san Diego.. love to watch the hills .. the over looking mountain.. so refreshing, mind blowing.. thank you for bringing us a beautiful place.. nice view, 👍👏😊
There's a second trail that's nice early in the morning to another peak. If you're doing the 5 Peaks Challenge, Cowels & the peak behind it are a great first two peaks to warm up when done in the early morning.
Actually, Cowles Mountain is pronounced with a long vowel "O" sound...properly KOHLZ...named after George A. Cowles, who was a rancher, farmer, and businessman here in the 1870s-80s. Orginally from the East Coast, Cowles moved to San Diego, expanded his fortune and became known as the “Raisin King of the US.”
@@GarethLeonard yeah I was gonna say pronounced Coles.... don't feel bad everybody does it... even long time SD residents... I am really enjoying your videos. Not sure if you have explored the East County... Julian and beyond to the desert. That would make a great video.
I used to dawn patrol surf at Sunset Cliffs..breakfast at Rancho's...go rock climbing at Mission Gorge...return to Point Loma Shelter Island...go sailing on performance racing sailboats...then road bike to the Point Loma Cabrillo Lighthouse and get seafood at Point Loma Seafoods...Multisport Days 😁
another tip... they have a really good burger (secret burger) at Juniper & Ivy. usually need a reservation to eat there but if you just go to the bar and order the it, you won't be disappointed!
First time to watch you, really i've enjoyed so much to watch your videos. Its like...I felt im with you all the time experiencing your tours. Thank you for sharing your videos. God bless you.
Great review of so many amazing options in San Diego!! Come up to Orange Country to experience all our great Asian eats and food halls. Love your content.
Excellent guide Gareth. You and your partner did a really good job putting this together. For an East coast guy, I think you fit in quite well. I need to make my way down to SD. I'm up north in Orange County and haven't been there in 6 years. Hopefully when things kind of settle down with the pandemic, I'll make my way there.
Hey Gareth, Pinoy here, are you going back to the Philippines? Watched your Philippine series. I live here in San Diego but i miss Philippines so much. Looking forward to more of your vlogs.
Thanks, Gareth! Visiting San Diego at the end of August 2022 - plan to check out some of these gems. (Fellow Upstate NY alum here - recognize the accent...!)
Awesome! I just moved to San Diego from New York (kinda by accident :/ I made a video on that). Still getting to know the area. That sounds like a perfect full day to me!
