- Lenovo’s Legion Glasses are compact, lightweight glasses that function as a big screen monitor, a personal display wearable. Thanks to our video’s sponsor Save up to $300 on select Lenovo laptops powered by Intel at Best Buy: go.magik.ly/ml/1z706/ . The Legion Glasses connect via USB-C and are compatible with any USB-C laptop or desktop that has a USB-C port supporting DisplayPort out. They’re designed as ideal companions to the Lenovo Legion Go we reviewed, giving you a larger screen for gaming. Since they function as a plug-and-play monitor, they’re also useful for watching videos and even office work. #Lenovo #BestBuyPartner

Hey Lisa, i can help you get your videos to a bigger audience by providing shorts for you, would you like to have a sample? worse case scenario, you walk away with free content.
hope enough people buy legion glasses to make lenovo keep improving them.
monitor replacement glasses are the _holy grail_ to many digital nomads.
I want them to be good so bad.
I still have the Sony HMZ-T3 goggles which are OLED and about a 150 inch movie display and very sharp with 3D support too.
Thank you vanced for helping me skip that CHUNK of ads
Please give me your thoughts on this yoga 7i versus the ThinkPad X1 yoga or the x13 yoga
I'm curious how these stack up to Xreal Air's (formally nReal). Which actually looking at them closely I wonder if these are just a skinned/shelled version of them.
Interesting they couldn't give it a larger FoV.
I'd be interested in these if they can give me at least 4K with 90 degrees field of view.
What are the long term effects on your eyes having these on for extended periods of time?
Good question, I have absolutely no idea. They are such a new concept, I'm not sure how many studies have been done with respect to eyestrain. I'd imagine the impact is no different from VR (minus motion sickness with VR) and AR glasses.
@@mobiletechreviewu answered absolutely nothing😍
thx for great review 😃👍🏻 great job
i am about to get a lenovo x1 yoga gen 2 with type c charger that i can load with 65w powerbank
A 27 inch FHD monitor at 60hz for $300 is crazy. Not sure what it takes to get higher hz, but 120hz would have been great for GFN folks.
Lisa! Thank you for posting.
try other glasses, like xreal. 120hz, and much better.
Why oh why would they make the cable fixed to the glasses?? No other company does that.
Where can I buy these glasses?
The glasses match the shirt beautifully
I bought these for Christmas at a discount, and was not very impressed. The screen projected in the glasses is too small, providing little advantage over looking at a laptop or larger screen. The speaker volume can seem low drowned out by exterior noises. The permanent USB-C cable is too short, buying a USB-C extension cable for off amazon for another $20 is a must. While they work perfectly with my Apple iPad, Lenovo Laptop, they were not recognized on my recently build Windows 11 desktop computer with a current MSI Motherboard on its USB-C port (or the case USB-C). Other than using these to privately watch a video in a shared space, or while traveling, I feel these are a novelty. I'm more curious now about how the new XReal AR glasses would compare at least screen size wise.
Compared to the XReal Air, these are, as the kids say, "heckin chonks". Though the arms do look stronger. A common complaint of XReal glasses is they crack at the temples.
If it can be used comfortably for desktop productivity work then the weight savings make it worth it. Use this with a raspberry pi and you have a lightweight computer on the go
Could this glass be used with a phone like a Samsung Galaxy S 23 Ultra?
The glasses can be used with any device that supports DisplayPort over USB-C, so yes. I tested it with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and DeX started right up and worked fine.
Stop asking stupid questions how many times does she need to say....YES IF IT HAS USB-C....YES YES YES YES
I tried the Viture Ones recently, and had to return them primarily because of my astigmatism causing eye strain (and some motion sickness). That model has diopter adjustments on each eye, so they're great if you're nearsighted with no astigmatism. I had a similar takeaway, though - the screen just didn't feel all that big, and all of these companies are advertising them as "120" Screen! 210" Screen!" The problem being that it's a 210" screen from... 10 meters away. Once the tech gets to a point where these do 3dof with a screen that you can make large and easily turn your head to see other corners of it, it will be truly immersive.
same to me. I used the add lenses but couldn't place the glasses right on my nose, especially with those lenses.
do acer aspire 3 17-51g i7 10th mx250 full hd
Intrigued! Just started watching, wonder if it works with Steam Deck?
It works via USB-C so will be fine
its basically a usbc monitor
It will and with any device that has a USB-C port supporting DisplayPort output.
@mobiletechreview so then does it work with phones 📱 as well?
@@chrisbytwerk3712 Are you asking or telling her something she knows?
@mobiletechreview. I've been a subscriber of your channel for many years. Sincerely, that wasnt your best review by any means. The sponsored section took up far too much time as a percentage of the total video.
Would these work with the Z Fold 5 ?
Probably not
of course. they are presenting DEX then, using the fold as touch pad
Do they look well? ;) Very aggresive advertising ..
❤❤😂
It is not two thunderbolt ports if one is used for power. You then can only use one for example for a external monitors. If you have to usb c external monitors you cannot use them.
People who work in healthcare appreciate privacy
X on the t-shirt is 5
Using them now. They look like a cheap projector. Too blurrg on the edges.
Love the hair, Lisa!!!
If it wasn't for sponsor block, I would've been quite upset at this video.😅
They've been making these things for over a decade, just in different executions. They're always unimpressive
Ouch bad AD decision
Whenever someone says "Good golly", by George I just start spending money on the first items that are suggested to me. How did you know?
Stop
u r old-old-school =p
Nope. not doing it for me...
This is Sarah Connor!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Literally 3 minutes of this 8 minute video is a sponsored ad of a craptop.
Sponsorblock my friend!
And you paid zero.
Grow up
Pretty much and little information on the glasses, fake review
@@chadnliz2k11 Why would I pay someone to review a product? The point of a review is to prevent people from wasting their money. You're a clown.
How dare Lisa attempt to make money. . . Give me a break
framework laptop!
What is this?? Lisa? 😮
Tf 3mins ads within the video. 😂😂😂 ok. Bye.
Better with hair down
Advertising on this video is absurd
How dare they get paid for their work. Perhaps you should let them know you're willing to financially support them anonymously with no ad inserts.
tf half the video is an ad

"kinda hip" riiiiiight - next time eat breakfast, you seem to be suffering from low blood sugar kek
I never comment on videos, but I have to say that I’m completely disappointed. In the fact that the majority of this video is a terrible advertisement please don’t make this mistake again.
I can see people complaining about the sponsor duration. This whole video seemed “off” like a bad date that’s not clicking. Oh well, can’t win them all.
Cyber Lisa
big like ❤❤❤
Left a thumbs down. This video was literally a best buy ad.
#technicalsocialmedia
Tragically hip😂😂😂
Lisa lets b real i have this device and have reviewed it my self. You didnt really use this device because if you did you'll lnow that the quality is trash compared to the others. The edge is blurry.
Xreal > legion glasses
Most of the review is advertising a crap laptop
Sponsored bullcrap
Holy shit this has to be the worst review of a product I have ever seen. The sponsors ad was longer than the entire review and they didnt even really show off the glasses product at all. Jesus H. Christ!
It pains me to say this, but after what feels like at least 7 years of subscription this video made me unsubscribe. Literally half of the video runtime is just filled with Bestbuy advertising. If I'd want to watch videos like this, I'd look at cable tv commercial breaks. Unfortunate...
UA-camrs aren’t allowed to make money?
So, according to you, we youtubers are not allowed to advertise to make money? Being a youtuber is not "a real job"? So iur efforts in editing our content to make them pleasing to the viewers is just a joke? Make your own channel then and let's see how far you can go.
That is because half the video IS Bestbuy advertising, get Sponsor block and you'll see that half the video has been marked as an ad.
@@ShanMichaelEscasioof course it's a real job, but part of the job is making high quality content that your audience wants to see. Imagine going to a restaurant and being served a half a plate because the other half is filled with an ad for the latest marvel movie
People seem to be missing the point of this complaint. It’s not the fact that there’s an ad, it’s how much of the content is an ad because most videos usually at a 5 or 30 second sponsor segment maybe at the start or end or explicitly mention the whole video is an advert.
With all due respect, this wasn’t a review. You spoke a lot about a crappy laptop. A lot of talking about the product but not much showing actual usage. I used to watch a lot of your reviews back in the day, this came up as recommended, but I won’t be watching again if this is the quality of the output.
Cool !
Seriously... just collect your pension and leave tech reviews to people younger than you
