I’ve heard other people say that the 72 hour claim really means that it continues working behind the scenes for 72 hours to keep the deeper layers of your skin hydrated, not that you only have to apply every 72 hours. But ya I agree the marketing is confusing and gimmicky! 😊
That would make sense... Except I thought skin had three layers? 🤔😖 I literally have a headache and thinking about this just made it worse for a second 😂😭
Thanks for a great vid!! This is one of the moisturizers that actually works for my skin n absorbs well. I find the updates so frequent and like no one asked for it. I wish if they made a new version, they should keep selling the original too. New formulas could change how it works for someone’s skin or include irritant for them. I’ll still try this version too, since what I’ve used in the past really is great for me.
Hi. I have been using the mosurister for about one week. Since it was a gift with a purchase, it was free but I was not clear on when to use it. Hence, I watched your vid and now have clarity. I interpret the 100hr as working beyond the surface as well. Even though it is not emphasized, I am sure this would be a winning selling point. For example, if I forget to apply it, it is working beneath the scene. Thank you🌹
Original moisture surge extendent thirst relief was my HG!!!Then they destoyed the formula (72h).It was sooo sticky....Please tell me if the new formula is as good as the original!!!
I just want to say THANK YOU! I LOVE ur videos!! Your different from most & it's so refreshing watching a HONEST review. Your so smart & ur videos are packed w/information.I won't even purchase anything without seeing if u have a review about it! 😃 U're a freaking Rockstar!
From what I’ve seen the texture is supposed to be lighter than the 72. It contains green tea and milk thistle I think it is which both have skin soothing and oil control properties which might make this suitable for oily skin. The fermented aloe is supposed to help skin microbiome. Buying small jars would help preserve, the 15 ml is £13 and the 30 ml 25 so there’s no more cost buying small. The packaging is more eco friendly. The hundred hours thing is irrelevant to me.
Hi Sarah my dry skin isn't moisturised enough with this gel type texture tbh, although i haven't tried the cream version they recently released. The only product from this line I have liked was the overnight mask, used as a daycream funnily enough as it's more hydrating than the actual moisturiser. I may try the cream version at some point, but I tend to buy from other brands and only use samples when i get them. The 10 hour thing is a bit of a joke especially on my menopause parched rosacea and eczema prone skin. That gel texture hydrates for a couple of hours max on me and then my face is tight/uncomfortable. I know it's a really popular line, which isn't aimed at my super dry skin type and therefore it's not a surprise it doesn't work well on me. Best wishes.
@@Aphrodyuti Hi a few moisturiser faves are: the paula's choice calm restoring cream as a day cream - with the corresponding calm spf 30 normal/dry version the skincity extreme facial moisturiser - either day or night (under an spf for day and the LRP cicaplast baume B5 as a sleeping pack at night) the pyunkang yul intense cream for night and the ato cream for during the day the illyoon ato cream for day or night layered under spf or the cicaplast the paula's choice clinical ultra rich cream diprobase itch relief cream - a basic moisturiser with ceremides etc and a richer texture LRP Lipikar baume face/body cream - my Winter night time moisturiser Avene extreme comforting cream face/body - used day or night In the Winter/colder months I switch to a body cream for my face, neck and chest as I'm so dry. I found the 72 hour hydration on qvc and ordered it. I may order more. I’m very wary of Clinique’s newer products for anti-aging. Many are irritating and cause breakouts. Ive been a Clinique purchaser for over 20 years and am beginning to think I need to search for a different company to buy my products.
Clinique can be so hit or miss, especially lately. Some of their products are nice for sensitive skin, but some of them are just terrible. And it isn't even one specific line or anything, they are all over the place and you really don't know until you really start researching each product. A few brands worth checking out are Good Molecules, First Aid Beauty, and Isntree- these are all pretty good brands especially for sensitive and breakout prone skin.
It can be tough to siphon through all the different brands. For retinoids I really love Geek and Gorgeous A Game Retinal Serum. Their C Glow Serum is also one of my favorite Vitamin C Serums. For peptides you cannot do wrong with The Ordinary Buffet (or their Buffet with Copper Peptides Serum). Another great ingredient is Green Tea- for that I recommend checking out the Isntree Fresh Green Tea Toner. Paula's Choice 10% AHA Exfoliant is also a good one worth checking out. Aha's in 10% and up have a collagen promotion efficacy and worth considering adding into your routine.
Hi Alan ere can you help I looking for a moisturiser for my skin and ant a clue what to buy do you have any recommendations at all was go to use clinique but moisture not need some help if you can help me please regards Alan
It has been around 30° here and I used the 72 hour cream and was having to apply more moisturizer on after only 5 or so hours bc my face felt so dry! Most creams last all day for me so I don’t understand where they’re getting the 72/100 hour claim from?
I don't want skin care I have to apply once every four days. I ENJOY applying my skin care and I want to do it 2x a day. Plus, I have never had a product from then that did anything for my skin. I find them booooring.
I have no idea what they were thinking with this product- I think their Moisture Surge line does well, they keep changing it but this product was so odd.
well, it is not meant that you don't wash your face next 4 days. The claim refers to that your skin will be hydrated after washing it off as well, which I am not sure of but whatever. I buy cosmetics from a local cosmetics store and every now and then they throw big testers like that to premium members' purchases but for me whenever I wear one of those pink creams they ALWAYS ball up upon drying. The only one that didn't do that is the very thick version but that one causes me blackheads.
I tried the 72hr one but actually I prefer Neutrogena hydro boost! However I am loving Isntree's Hyaluronic acid Moist Cream, gorgeous and so hydrating xx
Is there any waterproof/sweatproof matte sunscreen that wont make me look dewy, i want my face to get dry with it because I'm oily in a humid place. no white cast, completely dry finish, matte, no shininess. don't want it to melt off my face
The Biore Athlizm is a pretty tough sunscreen, very sweat and water resistant, no white cast, matte finish. I'll be reviewing it this week. Does have a bit of alcohol in it, but if you use it over a good moisturizer it might not be as big of an issue.
Lol, 4 days. That’s just funny. Can you imagine a team of people coming up with the claims that they’ll make and agreeing to THAT??🤣🤣 I mean at least one person would have to say, “hmmm, that sounds kind of ridiculous”. Thanks for the info, chickadee🍃🌸
Lol, I know, right, VERY creative marketing, I couldn't even believe how they would market a moisturizer as something that will keep your skin hydrated for FOUR straight days!!! I wonder how much they get paid to make up those marketing claims, just bizarre!
I really wish they were cruelty free, I mean it's 2021, it's about time for some of these brands to finally get with the program- customers don't want animal testing.
Yea if they wanna sell in China, they have no choice since it’s required by China. They could only test those products for China n leave other markets cruelty free, but they prob won’t cause $$$

This is very nice for sensitive skin - Clinique's Moisture Surge line is so nice for us sensitive types!

Why? Who buys into 100 (or 72) hours single application? Thanks for the vid. ☺

I´ve started transferring products to airless pump containers with a clean makeup spatula. Much cleaner
Where can you buy please ?

I am so over these off the wall, you got to be kidding me claims.
Plus jar packaging, it’s just so old school. Like why are skincare companies stuck in the 40s.

it is comedogenic?

This is getting ridiculous from 72hr to 100hr. Pure nonsense! They should be sued in a court of law. Class Action!!!
