Was literally just thinking the other day what product you would be releasing this year. Love the improvements you’ve made to the Lido line with the OG and now this. I think I’ll have to convert my Lido 3 over to this style, really looks awesome.
Always excited to see what you guys have in store. Best of luck!

I just ordered mine to replace my lido 3 I have used everyday..I also recently bought the fixie and love it...but for everyday home use, this is simple and perfect!

In order to upgrade LIDO2 to BASIC, could you tell me the bearing and spring size in addition to the parts that control the grinding step? Please let me know which bearings to buy from NSK and which springs to buy.

You make mention of a nylon tip in the grind adjustment. If this should ever get squished will it prevent locking of the grind setting over time or is it just to protect the finish?

It will still lock, but the flat area on the burr carrier will have marks - that nylon tip is replaceable, but it's better to not need to replace it due to overtightening.

@@orphanespresso Ah, I get you. I was a fan of the design but, I was skeptical of the form factor. That said, the more I hand grind the more I appreciate the idea of base support. I also really appreciate that it seems to be made with longevity in mind and replaceable parts. Y’all have done a great job!

I'm still using my "original" Lido (#019) for my daily driver/pour over brews. How does the burr set of this new grinder compare with the original?

Hi Doug are top rubber lid came with the grinder or we need to buy additionally? The cleaning process look more simple than the Lido 3 it's really good for maintenance/daily usage.

The plug is a separate purchase. The Basic only comes with brush, hex driver, and hex L-key. Thank you!

The Big question these days is where was it manufactured!!!! After all buying "made in china" is morally questionable at best. Remember... "designed in America" means made in China. No comment is also most times "made in china". Jus sayin... for anyone with kids out there looking for work!!! : )

Our grinders are all made in Taiwan (and we've not only never hidden that, but we tend to shout it out!) Yes - family business here too - our daughter does most of the shipping, and our grand daughter 'helps'... :)
