The video uses a Lido 2, but the same method will work for all Lido grinders. Additionally - we have another vid showing alignment on a Lido 3 here: player.vimeo.c...
Thank you, just tried this and it worked. One piece that I didn't notice first time around is that there is a little bump or bar on the metal of the grinder that lines up with the metal that seats inside the plastic hopper. Once these are lined up, everything falls into place with the upside-down tightening step mentioned in the video.
Hello, I've noticed that it seems to work better if the four screws are loosened equally (and not very much and if I don't tighten the first screw very much to lock before I start tightening the rest. Am I crazy or do you agree?
hai doug / barb, pardon me too ask you a question, im just curious, my Lido-ET performs super GREAT actually! Lido 2 in this video was using italmill burr, right? when the Lido turned upside down with the bottom screw detached, the handle can move freely with a slighty burr rub, just shoulder rub like doug said (burr teeth doesnt touch each other). i already try this method with my Lido-ET (etzinger) many times, and it works every times, super easy! but then i just realize, the burr rub in my Lido-ET is making more resistance than it should (if i compare it with the video). is it normal for the etzinger to make more resistance rubbing compare to italmill one? thanks.
doug / barb, please help me, what size is the lido-et hopper screw (both upper and lower)? some of mine are stripped 😭 many thanksss, loves both of you!
What's the point of flipping the grinder upright to tighten the other three screws? Why not just leave it upside down and slowly cross-tighten all four screws while the burrs are perfectly aligned? Also, could you please rename this video to give it a searchable name (like "OE LIDO 2 Burr Alignment") instead of the default name your camera gave the video file? I really needed this video several months ago when I first bought a LIDO E (since the alignment was WAY off) but couldn't find it until now.
You can tighten the screws while upside down (some people do have a little trouble doing that). Thanks for mentioning the title - I had forgotten to change it!!!
Hi orphan espresso, i hope you can make more relationship with netizen. Using instagram to promote your good quality grinder, so people like me did not confuse or doubt when want to buy it. I really hope, you can convince customer about why we should buy your product. So we dont need to see others review or issues that just share their bad exp. thank you,
I'm using the LIDO-E from 2019 and this video still helped me. Also holy moly you guys are great for posting this and making such amazing grinders!
Thanks for creating a bulletproof coffee grinder! Mine works well and arrived on center.

Hello - love my Lido e. what setting would you recommend for a La Pavoni with fresh roasted beans? I've been using between 4 and 5.
