Right here we got a 1997 civic but parts and procedures are the same 96-00 unless it's b16. After inspection we find a leaking oil pump so we replace the oil pump seals and Crank seal
Your video is cool except you didn’t show step by step how to remove the old and install the new. You basically only show the problem and show that you resolve it but didn’t show how to resolve it
I have replaced every gasket. So bummed I just did my oil pan. I have this same oil pump leak. It looked like an alternator bolt pieced the block and leaked out of it. At least I know exactly what it is now. Thanks.

THat part number matches what comes up...but by measuring mine, seems like it's 6mm too big Inside diameter ...i have the fuel economy d16y5 which i know is weird for allot of stuff, but pump looks the same...also you just running your car without a timing cover?! SKETCH! I took the top half off, but the bottom half off seems like it'd let in debris.
I just replacements my oil pump along with the seal and O ring….where did you apply the gasket maker?….I just applied it to the O ring…..Asking bc my leak is still in the same place…
