Hi Christa! I'm making an afghan with your sunflower squares in all beautiful springtime colors! I have 3 squares by 3 squares of the multi-colored ones in the center. That is surrounded by solid sunflower squares in coordinating colors, and in the four outside corners I am putting your 3D bloomscape flower squares (the most recent one you featured)! It's gorzwaa!!! Thank you for all of your inspiration! I love watching you, you're so upbeat! Also, I love when you say, "You can totally do it!" It's very empowering! Thank you Christa!
I know how many times I have said how much I love your way of continuous join. But I have to tell you agin ,it is so much easier than the other ways I have tryed. Thank you again. Also the sunflower blanket Thanks. I was surprised how great it turned out. I'm still working on 3 Daisy granny blankets. The squares are all made and blocked. Today I join them. I have to stop another baby blanket I started. Put it aside, so I can FINALLY FINISH the Daisy.
Oh, Christa, I am in love with the Frankly Circle blanket! But, I do not know how to answer the question of the week, lol. The rainbow vee shawl is magnificent! I wanna make that one with the Unforgettable yarn I have in my stash. One last thing, I would like to add on to the post your received complementing you on your channel: You are in a league of your own. We love you so much. Thank you, and congrats on your visit to the Not So Local Yarn Shop (NSLYS) in Dubai. Looking forward to that video. God bless and keep you always.
Hi! I have t written in quite a while. You have been the reason I began my crocheting career! Thank you for turning me on to this craft! I am hoping you will finish your polka dot blanket soon! I have 6 grandchildren and so far have made 4 blankets. I could really see in youngest grandchild, a girl, adding this to her bedroom! Please publish this pattern soon. Thank you for these past years of friendship and shared love of yarn!! Lots of love……Ruth
I haven’t had any strange yarn material requests… yet. 😊 I’m sure it’s just a matter of time. A friend did ask me to crochet a fairy for her, but I don’t have the faintest idea of how to even start it. I made her a butterfly and told her the butterfly would have to hold her over until I learned how. I love the frankly circles blanket and the c to c gingham blanket! Thank you for sharing your life with us and for including my strangest place to crochet (prison waiting area) how exciting that was to hear you read it! 🥰
I know this is late to the show, but I have crocheted at the bowling alley and at work. I worked in an inbound call center so crocheted between phone calls. Had many people stop to see what I was working on and actually sold some of my work!!!
Well I haven't had any weird requests I don't reckon. My best was my hubby asking me to make him some convertible mittens. Love love love Frankly Circles!!!! But all of your makes are gorgeous!!
My favorite from the stack in the back was the capelet and that beautiful shawl, I think you are so creative and make things I want to make. I am going to make your roses soon. Thank you for such fun videos you are such a delight have a great day.
Love the capeler idea…will watch for a tute/pattern…also,…yes yes yes on the NOFALLOFF Sgawl…lol!!..it is the constant grabbing and shoulder flapping that one I made stays in the closet…yep, bird wings….by the way,…what was the big raspberry square thingy behind you?…also yes, your podcasts have great content….some do have too much helloing and “personal” back and forth….love hearing about your family,…haha and your hubby’s reaction to pricey yarns…❤❤❤
My mom and aunt taught me how to crochet and then I taught myself how to knit with UA-cam.. jayda is definitely a great person to learn from she makes beautiful items and is a great teacher.. have a great day.
I have a basket near me where I pull my yarn from when I crochet. Previously I was throwing away all my ends. I saw someone say keep them and put them in things you stuff like animals and pillows and such. They just work their way to the bottom out of sight out of mind. The weirdest thing is from my grandaughter, she made a Viking hat beard combo for her ROTC commander in High School.
I feel you are doing a great job by including the subscribers comments and questions making it fun . All your projects are happy and fun. Your happiness and joyous personality
OMG I love all your work. First the flowers, then I said no the sunflower blanket. Then you kept showing beautiful work..after that I said I am in love with every piece. I did love the temperature blanket the one blues and purples blanket my favorite colors. The shawl is so cute. My favorite mmm let’s see ok the gingham blanket it’s absolutely gorgeous .
I crochet while I'm getting my chemo treatments. Been doing it for 2 years. The nurse look at what I'm making this time. I crochet snowflakes for all my nurses. They loved them. They call me the crochet lady.
Can’t wait to see that yarn store video, it looks gorgeous! My son asked for rainbow leg warmers and armbands for a play superhero costume. He also asks me to freehand amigurumi from pictures which I try but I am not exactly great at it.
I love everything! Especially the gingham blanket and V shawl!!!🤗 That shawl is stunning and the border is fabulously gorgeous!!! 💖 I definitely want to make it!🤗 I can't answer the question because I've never had a wierd yarn request. I hope you have a wonderful blessed day/night 🙏🏻🤗💖
I love your new roses. That Magic Light Ice yarn is gorgeous. You should do a new updated capelet. 😉 It's a tie...lol...between gingham and frankly circles.
Hi, Friendly Crochet Creations!! Don't believe the hype - that was someone trying to impersonate me. I am on neither of those platforms. Be careful! Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼
Really loving the coloration of your temp blanket!!! It’s unique and different. I crochet a saying with the words FU as it was the person favorite saying as a surprise. I did the words in popcorn’s in a dark color and the background in a lighter color. I was going to have it professionally frame…glad I didn’t…they weren’t excited as I thought they would be…something uniquely made just for them…never crochet anything else for that person. I really enjoy your podcast…love stack in the back!!! Such beautiful creations!!! I love the caplet and also the V shawl. And let’s not forget the Frankly Circle blanket!!! Looking forward to #125!!! Stay safe, cool, and be blessed!!!❤
Hi Christa wow I love all you do your husband's blanket that he sleeps under is gorgeous would love a tutorial on that one.the coloured roses are gorgeous.thank you Christa for all you share.many blessings to you 💝💝💝
My favorite was the gingham blanket ~ so pretty! I live in the tropics, so n-o-b-o-d-y asks me to make them anything ~ LOL. We do get a few weeks of "winter", so people will happily take beanies & such. I am going to attempt to make your sunflower piece & I really am looking forward to seeing your Dubai video.
Boy oh boy so hard to choose, I think though Frankly Circles is my favorite ! I love the v shape shawl as well and yes your caplet I certainly would love to learn crocheting that one This was my most favorite stack in the back
I am also SO in love with the colors of the Frankly Circles. I love magenta and turquoise shades together and have made projects with a similar color pallet before. I usually do not copy the same colors on patterns and tutorials I like because I like using my own creativity, but on this case I think you nailed it and I need one just like it.
Yes yes yes!!!! Do a video on how to make a v-shaped shawl!!! What a great idea!!! It would be better than having to keep adjusting the shawl!!!! It WOULD stay in place better!!!!! GREAT IDEA!!!🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶💜💜💜💜💜🥰🥰🥰 🥰 🥰
I love the gingham blanket, in fact, I’m making it now but with one strand of yarn and each square one of 4 colors (gold, green, grey, and multi of those colors). I’m just making it a lapghan though. I laughed at your fun Dr Seuss cracker hat, too funny. I love all your blankets and want to make that flower square one next. It takes me longer now as I get tired more easily, so anything anyone asks me to make I don’t want to make. Only what looks like I could make because of watching your tutorials for. Someone asked me to make a mermaid wrap type of blanket, although it sounded cute all I could think of was the time consuming and difficulty of it…. Ugh… thank you for all your videos!
Christa, you put together a great video. It is enjoyable to listen to someone who does not say "you know", or "okay" when speaking. I absolutely love your sage green and pink blanket. Those are the colours I had in my Shabby Chic bedroom in California.
I love the the shawl and caplet. Since I'm usually warm they would both be great for cool spring/summer evenings. I'm am anxiously awaiting the tutorials.
My granddaughters do highland dancing. They recently attended a Burns night which commemorates the Scottish poet Robbie Burns. Their dance teacher asked me to crochet a haggis (Scottish delicacy!) for a prize in a quiz 😂
I forgot I crocheted at the 🏇 horse races. My husband gambles and I crochet 🧶 I was asked to make a jock strap as a special Christmas present. I had to guess the sizing but apparently when they opened the gift everyone had a big laugh 😂😅🎉 I bet I’m the only one whose made this
Hi I love all of stuff you made. Awesome! I really like triangle shawl, fascinating stitches! Also I love simple little caplet or small cowl (violet color) at 37 mins. I am looking forward to learning from your tutorials!! When will you do them? You are a such funny person and love who u are.
Hi Crista, I dont think I have any weird requests, but I do get everyone asking for me to give them items for free or if I can teach them how to make things, when they know that I sell my stuff, anyway, I love your podcast and I hope there will be doing a ice yarns haul soon, those are my favorite.
Love all items in the stack in the back, most loved the v shawl and your Ice yarn wrap with the beautiful border. Wierdest item I was asked to crochet was a chainmail piece for a friend who does renfaire reenactments.
My craziest request has been a ski mask, I know it’s really not that crazy but I have not really been doing this for as long as you. Love you videos Christa they are lots of fun and very informative, thank you! Yes I do, love the gingham and have made it in beige, brown and blue. I cannot wait to be able to make the Frankly Circles!! Have an awesome week!!🧶😊
I have wanted to crochet or knit in the pool while I'm floating around and your idea for a baby pool with all my crochet goodness tethered to my floating lounger is Fantastic! I will be trying that one for sure. Thanks for all you do. Love your channel.
Well the yarn was not bizarre but I was asked to make 3 huge Baby Yoda dolls! It was the worst pattern (free and 100% not proof-read or tested) and oh how I got sick of green yarn after that. Lol! I’ve made your C2C gingham as a trivet! It was really fun to make! Yes to the caplet tutorial!!! I have a medical treatment on the back of one of arms and whenever the sun hits it, it stings! Therefore I have to wear a jacket even in the summer to cover it. That caplet would be the PERFECT solution I’ll bet! Excited for your yarn shop video. I'm guessing there's at least a small haul to go with that. LOL. I love how you play with colors. So inspiring. Please have a wonderful day!
oh i love the capelet, please make a video on it, i looove that V shawl and the border! reminds me of those big lollipops with swirls of bright colors lol
I just love the gingham blanket, I bought the yarn to make it, I never got round to it and used the yarn on something else, but I will make it one day, I haven't had any requests for using an unusual yarn, but my daughter bought me a 400g ball, it looked nice in the photos, but when I went to use it it was like a boucle yarn and knotted up on the first chain!! And I adore what you did with the magic light yarn and the roses. But mainly, thank you for your inspiration 🙏 😊
Rose bouquet is gorgeous. Glad there is a tutorial and fantastic idea to use a yarn you won't see. You made a trip to Dubai! And what a great yarn store you went to. Looking forward to that video!

Love you videos Christa they are lots of fun and very informative, thank you! Yes I do, love the gingham and have made it in beige, brown and blue. I cannot wait to be able to make the Frankly Circles!! Have an awesome week!!🧶😊
Oh thank you so much, Karla G Castro! 🌺🌻🌸
I have wanted to crochet or knit in the pool while I'm floating around and your idea for a baby pool with all my crochet goodness tethered to my floating lounger is Fantastic! I will be trying that one for sure. Thanks for all you do. Love your channel.
Me too, Lori's Crochet Creations! #LifeGoals!! Thank you! 🌷🌸🌷
Good morning from Toronto Ontario Canada. It’s 10 c today. Beautiful
Hi, Mary Anne Magliocchi!! Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼

Hi, Hema Patel!! Thank you SO much! 🌻🌺🌼
Oh thank you so much, Tina Smith! HUGS! 🌺🌻🌸
Rose bouquet is gorgeous. Glad there is a tutorial and fantastic idea to use a yarn you won't see. You made a trip to Dubai! And what a great yarn store you went to. Looking forward to that video!
Oh I am so glad, Charlotte Bruce! Me TOO!! Thank you!! 🌸🌼🌺
