Another question: Google uses R instead Python for this course, so would you recommend to master these both coding languages to become a top Data Analyst? Thanks in advance. 👍 😉
I would recommend pursuing courses that most align with your passion. For example, if you are finding SQL over spreadsheets more fun.. pursue this! Overall these certs are great, but don't discount building your portfolio as well to display your skills. This is always highly overlooked. Regarding R or Python I don't recommend trying to master both. I would pick one and go from there. You can always switch to the other one if needed.

@@LukeBarousse thanks!
Is it worth to doing this Google data analytics certificates for indians as of now?
Yeah I think so, but there are also a lot of other popular options out there so don't limit yourself!
@@LukeBarousse thanks for reply, can u pls mention other options?
In your video cover image, you used certificate headline of data analyst but you used description of IT support course 😄😄
You have some good eyesight my friend 🧐
Am an MCA postgraduate...but I have no experience in IT...so can I do it?
Yeah you can, no experience needed!
@@LukeBarousse thank you
Hlo sir, can I ask one more doubt...when we give the credit card details for payment ,is that safe?
If I stop in between how to stop the course and how to delete credit card details...pls rply
@@harithamanu8852 Yeah, it better be safe as they have my credit card number as well!!!!
If you want to stop the course you just cancel the payments on their website, it's pretty simple.
@@LukeBarousse oh....thank you🤗
Hi bro,
U do a cool job bro. Keep going.
I want to pursue data science in education industry. I'm currently working as a content developer in an educational institution.
What's the scope on data science in education bro?
My dude, thanks for the kind words. Data science is everywhere! Although I have minimal experience of working in the education industry, from those I do know they implement data science on a daily basis. Hope this helps.
I have to agree, I have a BS in another field and you end up with more fluff, other than more theory you could use. Not saying it isn't nice to have.
Very much agree with this, it is nice to have and display on a resume.. But when it comes to utilizing I get more values in application from certs.
I am studying physics, I would like to become a data scientist, my plan is to enter a Bootcamp at Tec de Monterrey (I am from Mexico) Do you think that if I continue studying physics I can become a Data Scientist?
I love your videos, saludos desde Mexico 🇲🇽
I'm not to familiar on paths for data scientists as I'm a data analysts. You may want to check out my friends channels for this (Ken Jee and Tina Huang). But IMHO I think it's possible. Although data scientist typically have more formal training in data science (I.e. a masters in data science)
If you want to become a data scientist, then forget about physics if you are not going to use it. Change your course to Data analytics. If you are in the third or final year of the physics program, you might as well complete it. If you are in the first year or second year, I will stop. This is my opinion, do what is best for you. Disclaimer.
I think It will be criticall having this kind of certifications from a titan as Google, the world move foward and as Facebook , Google is around the world so the opportunities will increase of few years, I am currently studying maritime engeneering, but i am off right now while covid, maybe for 1 year more, so learning this while i complement my studies on Udemy (There are paid courses that the owners give them to us for free, using coupon) so there is hope.
PD: speacially for me, I want to go out of my country Venezuela
Sorry for the delayed response, youtube hid this comment from me!
Thanks for sharing your insights on this and on your study plan!
@@LukeBarousse thanks to your mate, i do appreciate that you annswered me already, I followed you on TIk Tok too, always following your content, greetings mate.
@@niko9bellic Aww thanks so much for the follow! It is much appreciated!
Please,
Do you have a blog where I can ask questions?
Is the Google professional certificate a good start for someone new to data science?
No blog, I mostly just do this on UA-cam as my form of communicating.
And yes I think it is. Check out this video to answer your questions about the cert:

I don’t have a college degree. Can I get a job with this certification as a data analyst?
Potentially, they have a lot of success stories around this type of cert.

Of course you should join autonomous college which provide data science course which is a good start and simultaneously gain practical knowledge and do project and also you can do these certification also

Luke, just a question: let's say that I concluded this Google Data Analysis course. What subsequent courses with certification would you advise me to put more weight in my data analysis skills? Another question: Google uses R instead Python for this course, so would you recommend to master these both coding languages to become a top Data Analyst? Thanks in advance. 👍 😉
I would recommend pursuing courses that most align with your passion. For example, if you are finding SQL over spreadsheets more fun.. pursue this! Overall these certs are great, but don't discount building your portfolio as well to display your skills. This is always highly overlooked. Regarding R or Python I don't recommend trying to master both. I would pick one and go from there. You can always switch to the other one if needed.
If you want to offer 💰💰💰 to universities in exchange for fancy font on paper mentioning you are qualified for a position , cheaper options are the way to go. Learning for free and showing something you spent time working on is way better.Only rule to remember... never work for free in a capitalist world. No corporate entity will ever provide their product, time and service for free so neither should you.
Interesting, thanks for sharing.
In Europe now that in Ireland there are a lot of offices of it like google maybe there u can also work with the google certificate?
