The 420SEL is the Goldilocks w126...V8 w/LWB; lighter than 560sel, less nose-heavy and you can put Bilstein shocks in easily. This one features the dealer-added gold "ChaCha" package! VERY pretty car! May your Dad drive in good health!

Man this car is mint, I wish I had a 300SD, sadly we didn't get those in Europe... Any news about that w123 300D you did an entire series about and shipped your dad too ?

This one is not a 300SD. It’s 420SEL. Yup my dad has the W123 as well!

I’ve got a question, in need your help with my Mercedes 300e I put a new fuel distributor on but nothing is coming out when I hit the air sensor plate (I did run the pump until there was gas running to it) I’ve been working on this for a few days now. Thank you!

So with the pumps turned on and you pressing on the air flow plate, there’s no fuel coming out of the distributor holes?
What happens if you don’t press the air flow plate?

since your asking, prob not.

Of course it’s worth it. It’s easy to change the head gasket on M103. Watch my S124 wagon series. I had the whole engine refreshed in that one
