I'm supportive of broadening your product coverage! I always like your more realistic viewpoints that makes it very easy to relate to what you are talking about. But it won't be an easy transition though, considering you're shifting from a largely enthusiast audience into a very saturated market. Regardless, I wish you all the best!
I greatly support the branching out to other tech products, smartphones, maybe even cameras. Maybe not too much with benchmarks/graphs stuff.. Your POV and videography is so high quality that I sometimes wish you would cover those other tech products I watch here on UA-cam. Kinda in between Dave2D and MrMobile
I’m a big guy, 6’3 280lb and I adore my secret lab titan xl chair. But that magnetic pillow is a really cool feature that I think would actually be useful.
You are the grand master of custom keyboard creation and modding. Seeing you reviewing other stuff seems wrong to me, at least in a channel called keybored. I would make a second channel not to scare away the custom keyboard purists (e.g. Oh yeaaaah a new keybored video...... oh no, it's for a chair 😱 ).
Yes please, I watch you more for your personality and the way you talk rather than just for keyboards. I'd love to hear you talk about all this other tech adjacent stuff.
Definitely don't mind tangents related to battlestation/workstation setup. Numpad/macropads would be interesting as a side content. I do miss your switch content... It's a little overwhelming the amount of great switch options but highlighting a switch during a keyboard review still is great.
Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. I see plastic, no I see cheap piano plastic and cantilevered angles that make no sense. Perhaps the most beautiful keyboard I've seen that's coming is the OLED backed keyboard from the Finalmouse and other similar copies.
that display underneath keyboard from finalmouse is easy the tackiest idea on mechanical keyboards, it really brought up a useless thing on another level, and it's not pretty at all, not even on my wildest imagination...if someone says rgb on the keyboard is stupid, that underneath display is far far worse than that, it serve no usefull function whatsoever...you wanna stare at your keyboard all day long while your typing? I mean, why tho...why. But idk, I kinda understand if ppl would like those stupid flashy things, if rgb can find their lovers, that underneath display thing could be too
@@bosenngantor9160 .. They're so useless they're going to sell out within seconds thousands of units. The OLED screen leads to unlimited backlighting possibilities. This may REALLY blow your mind but if you don't like the backlight .. now this is the kicker .. you can turn it off. Did you know that?
I'm with you - I prefer the foam build. One question: you said in the first part of the video that you wouldn't use the IXPE "plate" foam but later on you said you used the entire foam kit. So I'm just wondering what you did. For what it's worth, I'm supportive of differentiated content. Although I intended to cover primarily keyboards on my own channel, the first video I made to teach myself Final Cut Pro was about Apple Fitness+. With 30K+ views, it's my best performing video to date - 6X more than my best keyboard video. So yeah, you never know.
The Morandis definitely opened me up to looking forward to more Haimu offerings, especially if they got some 4mm travel switches which seem to be rarer to see these days among all the longpoles.
Scott! You reviewing other stuff too! Totally there for it. Like other, I am here for more than just the keyboard and switch content...I'm here for your creativity and insight man. Bring on more content from that unique viewpoint of yours with those awesome openings! Oh and how do you like Diablo 4? Keep up the great reviews and man this is a beautiful board.
Amazing video. The music around 1:45 sounds like when you're watching a video recorded on a phone out in wind. Really distracting. But otherwise amazing board and video!!
Will you do a review on the TKD Cycle 7? If yes, really looking forward to the video! I wonder if you were one of the most chosen reviewers in the IC form.
Obviiously get what you can afford but after years of using 'gaming' chairs I don't think I would ever use one again even to sit in for 5 mintures after getting a Herman Miller Embody. There are plenty of other high end brands out there with just as good chairs but embody was for me. If you're willing to spend 1k on a keyboard you should be willing to do the same for the chair you sit in to type all day IMO. Get chairs refurbished as it will save on cost, got my embody for $1400 after tax vs the $2200 it would be new. Track Office Furniture if you live in the GTA area of Canada is fantastic! Plenty of brands to try out in store.
I was deliberating between this and the Class60. Even tho I love the aesthetics of the Z75, it costs $100 more than the Class60 and has fewer interesting mechanical features. So I couldn't justify that extra cost to myself and passed on this board.
I have consistently pleasant experiences with in-stock buy and group buy Wind Studio and couldn't be happier with my x98 and xR2 , love the look and feel of this but sadly numpad gang, so not sure if they can make a matching one.
Btw, I like the sound without foam and POM plate the best. I shifted away from what I call a “generic plastic foam (tape) sound”. I like the “sing” of metal.
Reallly beautiful keyboard - really like the aesthetic of the round curves (like the capsule65). It's too bad that I could almost pick up two QK100 boards for the price of this..
Definitely the Design is Beautiful. Since I had a TKL layout im easily fall in love with it and very addictive to build every TKL layout with some minimal and unique designs as well so I don’t hate the keyboard but ill pass on this because I don’t like the 75% layout. ❤❤❤
I am not a fan of the racing style chairs. I had one and they just get too hot for me and are not very comfortable. Maybe if I had spent more on a different one the comfort would have been there. The board sounds really good to me with all the foams but DAMN that price though.
Hey Scott, enjoy your content and I understand why you would want to branch out to other products. For me personally though I would prefer you avoid the "gaming" products as like some have mentioned its an over saturated market. In the end its your content though so do what you enjoy.
Looks really nice but no RGB is a deal breaker for me. I mean, why not include it, if you doing like it turn it off. Edit: arr shit I just looked at the website and it looks so awesome in the various colour options; damn my love of RGB!
I'm with you I think, it looks almost like something logitech would have shipped 15 years ago. It looks well made and I suspect if I had it on front of me I'd have a different opinion but visually it seems really dated.
This shows how subjective "beauty" is. I can see this looking decent with a matching setup, but on its own it looks like a cheap pseudo futuristic thing from the mid 90s to me. It somehow reminds me of a Fiat Multipla, or a PT Cruiser...
I like that you're covering other products with your scientific style. Which is why it surprised me that you bought a gaming chair. Any gaming chair performs significantly worse than any equivalent office chair. Imo it sacrifices too much for thr look of a racing bucket seat.
The screws on the bottom ruin this case for me. The main design consists of two covers over the main body and then the cover is covered with ugly screws which you would want to cover with a cover. If I owned this case that would always annoy me so unfortunately I can't buy it. Shame 'cause I really like the silver with blue accent one.
looks kinda ugly to me. I think it's the massive case around the keyboard, it makes no sense. Imagine designing a part of a website for example, and instead of using a border that is a couple of pixels thick, you decide to use a 20px border, makes no sense. It tries to showcase a more slick/thin design but somehow they decided to have that massive amount of space around the keys.. I don't know about this one
This looks like Alienware designed it.
this looks like alienware but black tie and I love it so much alienware should try designs like this themselves
Reminds me of the XFX AMD graphics cards

Haha that is very true! It'll mostly still be keyboards with a sprinkling of others!
You always cover things with incredible detail and such purpose, so I would absolutely watch other content of yours.

I love your reviews, I am confident the coverage of other products will be as high quality as your keyboard related content. Bring it on!
"cause it makes me happy" encapsulates why we all went down this rabbit hole. cheers for another great video!
If they release a Z98 I might be sold. The X98 is my current daily driver and I love it, but the look of this thing is just beautiful
Haimu, keygeek and lichigx are my most looking forward switch manufacturer this year. Nice price and good quality
I was very surprised!
