I must say, I've loved seeing more and more keyboards recently be good at sound versatility, allowing for both the more raw sound to shine in a little-if-no foam build or for the typical foamy thocky sound that newer hobbyists are familiar with. Also great to see you looking and enjoying both sides instead of just sticking to one side or the other as a lot of other creators seem to do.
I think you have days when you want a certain sound or feel from a board, and other days when you want the opposite. More excuses to buy more keyboards!
If anything Hades has taught me Sisyphus is chill with his fate and enjoys the company of his boulder. Maybe it's the same for this keyboard! Too bad it's 65% cause it's definitely a nicely built and sounding board.
I assume its called Sisyphus because like him rolling the boulder up the hill for the rest of time, we'll always be looking for the next keyboard forever.
So beautiful, especially with those caps. Terrible name though - although I guess it’s a “fun” reference to the daily grind sitting at an office desk 😅
Latest projects backed by Velocifire are all BANGERS! Bubble75, Hope75, Dolphins75, CKW80 and now Sisyphus75. I am so impressed by them. Also I think here the side view of the rod reminds a stone on the slope. Maybe this is the initial idea behind the name.
Epomaker Wisterias are SO loud! Love them. Wish they were standard travel instead of 3.6mm though. Great video, Scott. As usual the intro made me cackle 😂
@@Keybored I've been using Durock 67g dual-stage springs for all spring swaps I've done recently. Been using them constantly for spacebars and they're great. Maybe 62g for regulars. Also ordered some KTT HaluHalo V2s with 63.5g springs, really hoping to get my hands on them soon. But still waiting on another items so I can send the whole thing to my country!
Fantastic boar! I love everything about it (especially the ice blue color) In your opinion, can it become more thocky than what you showed with like some thocky switches and all foam?
Great video as always Scott. Unfortunately, the Hope75 Groupbuy was super scuffed with QC issues and such. Probably never joining a Velocifire GB again.
The design is on point, however the price is quite steep for a 65% layout without any special edge when there are plenty of options out there for 200 dollars.
A beautiful board, but the Morse code is not relevant in my opinion to the overall design, and to the Greek mythology. without it I would definitely buy this one. Thanks for the review!
@keybored have you thought about reviewing the Mode Envoy or Sonnet? They are becoming more "mainstream" and am eager to hear your thoughts on the new "lettuce" mounting system. I see you have reviewed JRIS, but I would love your insight on one of these boards before I consider buying them!
@@Keybored I would campaign for you to review an Envoy!! There have been a lot of streams of the board, but not many reviews unfortunately (though Taeha just released a fairly comrehensive vid). I’m a huge fan of the my Sonnet, but am struggling to justify having a 3rd 65% board :)
@@Keybored Hey man i just got my Sisyphus65 as well. Was gonna go with red but damn after watching your video i got a matching green one too and damn does this thing look good
I would say so. Chimera is more expensive and while it has a nice refinement to it, the sisyphus actually types better I feel. It has a liveliness to it that I really enjoy
@@Keybored the studio originally send a aluminum card with 2 switch hole, and then when the keyboard start shipping, they attached a working PCB for the Aluminum card😂
I got a question from one of yours video ua-cam.com/video/xmyiurli3Zg/v-deo.html does it matter if i flip the kilmat isolation panel ( for the sound ) because when its on the right side my pcb is pinched and its pressing keys so i gotta flip it ( i bought 2 mm thick ) Thanks if you asnwer it would help a lot
Disapointed to know that the keyboard doesnt fall and has to be rebuild everydsy to use
nice
Hahaha that would be so funny. Wake up and it's all in parts, must rebuild to use
I love that the foam only adjusts the hollowness and doesn’t remove all the character from the board. It sounds amazing both ways!
It was such a fun keyboard!
I think the golden circular bottom part of the keyboard symbolizes sisyphus’ boulder.

Banger review my friend! The board looks very interesting.
Thank you so much Clackbait! Thanks for stopping by brother!
"one must imagine Sisyphus happy."
Haha I hope so! He was a mortal so eventually I assume he became "happy" lol
It's not a crappy fate! We must imagine Sisyphus happy. Great review!
Haha I heard he was a mortal, so there must have been an end eventually
Sisyphus is the embodiment of our hobby, the never ending push for that endgame keyboard
When you gonna review the new qk100? I actually love your intro’s btw❤
2 weeks! I have a nice silver one on hand I've been playing around with :)
@@Keybored nice!!!!
This keyboard totally has Loid Forger vibes... *chefs kiss*
Haha never thought about it that way
So beautiful, especially with those caps. Terrible name though - although I guess it’s a “fun” reference to the daily grind sitting at an office desk 😅
I like the last config A LOT. Sounded super good.
It sounds so good! Never thought it would sound like this at first glance
I built it this weekend and I loved it! it looks very elegant and feels great! :) Thanks for the recommendation!
Sisyphus for the sisyphean task of finding my endgame.
Nice. Thanks .This Board is so incredible. Dont have Epomaker. What do you think ? WS Onion or WS Yellow ? With PC Plate. OR MX Black on this Board ?
Time to Ricoshot Sysiphus Prime, by the way the keyboard has a good name and the design looks cool.
Now we need Minos 65.
lol, I love the humor in your videos. Keep being you! Thanks for the keyboard review as well.
Haha thanks! Theyre so cringe to do but hey, as long as it makes people laugh lol

There Def seems to be a pattern! Hope and bubble are great boards I have also!
So, instead of testing a certain weapon's skills, he is the weapon. The board looks great (and so is the video)
"I love it" That says a lot. Thanks for the review.
If something resembles the eternal labour of Sisyphus, the word is "Sisyphean"
Epomaker Wisterias are SO loud! Love them. Wish they were standard travel instead of 3.6mm though. Great video, Scott. As usual the intro made me cackle 😂
I didn't think I'd like them this much! For me, I would prob spring swap to something heavier but they're great!

Epomaker has some great switches. Nice to see them being showcased a bit.
I agree, Budgerigar are my favorites. 1st switch that got me into non clickies.
The side profile of the Sisyphus looks like someone pushing a stone! Also love the channel

Oooh that's too bad! They've delivered pretty consistently performing samples to me :(
came for the board stayed for the hair. damn look at those locks.
That intro was a reference. Admit it.
bro i read the title wrong at first, thought it said the "syphilis 65" lmao
Hahaha you know... They might as well have named it that
@@Keybored fr lol
I think the waves are actually mountains when seen from top view.
I am officially Sisyphus'd. All my stabs have some measure of rattle or ticking, no matter what I do.
All I noticed is that we have the same Razer Orochi.. thanks for the quality content!
It's a good mouse!
Dis you check out the vanguard 65? It's another unique looking 65% thats in gb stage rn

Then get a mode Envoy for $189

Haha yeah I thought it said CLIMT
What do you think about the Monsgeek M3 board?
1:40 Noooooooooo!!!! 🤣🤣
I would love it if you were to cover the Heracles 80! Yet another a Greek mythology charachter!
Haha should gather them all up for a Greek showdown!
Hearing about the flex cuts being introduced for GB is kinda disappointing. The keyboard aesthetic is so good for the price too.
I got a note from the manufacturer that they'll consider a non flex cut pcb!

Where did you get your usb cable?
Would you say this is better than the Orbit65?
Where did you get your mousepad from?
Novelkeys!
how do people deal with no RGB keyboard at night? I just dont get it.
lmao" what the hail "
As someone who gets annoyed very easily by ticking stabs, I am very triggered one minute into the video...That would actually be my personal hell...
jeez, i fall in love with that keycap colors. Maybe someone know any similar color scheme(deep dark green) that actually "in stock"? :D
I know... Didn't realize that it was GB lol. That's the challenge with keycaps...
@@Keybored i need a link 🙃
Albert Camus wrote a great book called the Myth of Sisyphus, and it might change your name about old SissyPuss.
Haha maybe I should read that
damn thats a keyboard
The only con of this board is the type c connector placement.
A board at that price needs to have a daughter board.
I was very skeptical also! But in actuality it wasn't bad!
So great that screwless actually means always looking at the shiny screws between the keycaps.
you mentioned this is your favourite 65 of the year, even better than the chimerav2?
I would say so. Chimera is more expensive and while it has a nice refinement to it, the sisyphus actually types better I feel. It has a liveliness to it that I really enjoy
i feel like GMK Dots will be match this keeb more..
Haha it Def will! And in stock right?
I wish it had a solderable version pcb with iso
I'll let them know
Re65 review?
Love the intros
