- First time trying out the Supco TradeFox Refrigerant Line Cleaning Kit or any kit like it and very impressed with it. The purpose of the kit is to flush line sets on equipment replacement or after a burn out. It can be used on its own or with a flush chemical as well.
The kit comes with several pigs (foam line cleaners) that are inserted into the launchers sized at 5/8", 7/8" and 1 3/8" with adapters ranging from 3/8" to 1 3/8". The foam pigs are inserted into a launcher, once attached to the pipe and and pressurized with nitrogen. There is a catch net that is installed on the other end to catch the foam pig.

Looks like a great product… thanks!
Yes it does, thanks for watching!
Great video I saw this product from gilmore
It's definitely got some uses for it
I feel like the hilmore has a slight advantage over this one.
Tooless design and pistol style grip and chamber makes it easy.
👍
What about 3/8” pipe?
Great video. Could u pls, do a video on pipe bending with various pipe benders
If time permits
Couldn't you just buy the pig's and use an RX-11 flush gun that will fit any size line and a nitro tank?
Oink! 🐷
I’m a Hilmor Man myself and will be grabbing that variant but otherwise cool products coming out for us!
And the hilmor is a few dollars less
What about going through brazed on elbows on couplings that you don’t see on a lineset? Could they pig foam catch on these and in turn create a problem when turning the unit on.. I want to see more tests on these before I am sold on them
Look up Hilmor ones or just UA-cam pipe wipers for refrigerant. Used it many times and i love it. I send multiple ones out.
Whatbif theres a kink in the line that you cannot see and stops the pig from passing threw?
Blast it backwards out! And you’ve learned you need to replace the line
I love tradefox..but I can’t consider stocking this until there is a 3/8” pig
They're working on it
Could that get through an A frame coil?
I would say no, are you trying to have it go through metering device like distribution/feeder tube, piston, or TXV
@@nessnesu6202 no that would be impossible. I would have that removed of course.
It's meant for linesets
As soon as I seen that reddish brown puff of dust first thing in my mind that’s pipe is Highly oxidized from just plain oxygen exposure.
I’m used to seeing that on some imported copper from other countries brand new.
Or even if you have a good clean company brand name and you cut it open and get atmospheric air inside over the period of weeks or months the inside of all copper will start to oxidize.
That’s some dirty copper
Thats nes pipe too
Those aren't pigs, a pig is a animal, those are rubber thingies
Haha, not my term, bit that's what they're called!
watch it get stuck in a underground line set hahahahahahah, no way im cleaning like this .
Reg? Lol
Reg...ulator
