The NEW Lineset Cleaner System by Hilmor

  • We're excited to talk about a new lineset cleaner system by Hilmor that features pigs or plugs, not nitrogen or solvents alone.
    You can use the Hilmor lineset cleaner by itself or behind a solvent. The kit is neat, easy to carry, and comes with a thorough set of directions. You can insert the pig into the launcher, which comes with various adapters for many different tubing sizes. (We recommend reaming the edge before attaching the adapter to the line set.)
    We recommend using a new pig every time, especially if you use them behind chemicals. The pigs are very consistently manufactured, and they come in various sizes. They also come with a catch net, which holds the pigs on the other side of the lineset.
    You'll find that your lineset cleaning jobs are a lot more thorough when you start using the Hilmor lineset cleaner.

    Now that's why I watch every single day.
    That is a product I can get behind with an appropriate drier selection.
    Thanks again for the videos!

    Hilmor has a habit of taking existing products and making them cheaper and often better. When they make a hose system like true blue , I will probably buy it.

    How do they fare traveling through 90s? Over long distances? Slightly ovaled tubing? Do they make an 1 1/8"?

    I see that both of the manufacturers that are offering this product don't show how it works in real life which scares me of using it. What if that piece gets stuck inside the system and don't know where it is. What are you going to do? Make a video on how it works in a condenser or evaporator and I will be a 100% convinced that it actually works. I am skeptical about this. I need to see it to believe it.

    Every time I order something Hilmor I never get it. The last thing was their dual clamp, dual readout, digital temperature meter I ordered through K-Tool. They said it was in stock on their website but 8 months later I still didn't receive it. So, I ordered a Fieldpiece through Supplyhouse & got it in two days. Needless to say, I don't do business with K-Tool anymore.

    I’m interested in this. I watched the pipe wipe demonstration video a month ago & now this. I have a few questions since your company has been using this type product for a few years. Do you use this on every change out or only on the line sets you can’t replace? My company replaces the line set when we can & uses the r22 flush process when we can’t. This seems much easier…& less expensive for the homeowner.

      the plugs look like a sponge type material I’d assume they take shape to whatever it’s inside passing through. Unless it’s completely pinched off well then you got another problem. Using this you’re assuming line set has a free flow path.

    • @bluebellharleyrider
      @bluebellharleyrider 2 роки тому

      If it gets stuck going one way through the line set, just reverse your nitrogen through the other side of the open line set. As a previous post said if you have that much problem getting it to come out, you probably have some future problems with the system that you should address at that time.Any line set can be replaced it just depends on the homeowners willingness to spend the money.
