Great video just remember everyone you're not going to get it first try all the experts schematic readers learned by practice. Schematics are hard to teach and learn and repetition is the best way. Watch multiple explanations.
I like the way you broke it down to the simplest form. Reading schematics and diagnosing has always been my weak point. Now I need step 2 to build on this class.
Very well done! Please do more, stepping up the complexity of the diagrams. Your helping me overcome my weakness of wiring schematics. Thank you. BTW, if you could focus some of the wiring diagram training around RTUs this would help me immensly!
Thanks for posting these videos. You help out not only technicians but also people in leadership positions responsible for coordinating training for technicians. Much appreciated!
Blew the roof off that one Not only a great video but you are a very talented teacher. Your efforts are truly appreciated So looking forward to your next And I’ll definitely be signing up in your app as well You’re a credit to the HVAC community 👍👍👍
Great tutorial on this subject. Your method is what I learned in my controls 1 and 2 classes 20 years ago. Plenty of hours going through schematics in books unlike today with the Internet. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely awesome mate! I’m a HVAC tech here in Australia and have been for 10 years almost 11, the one thing I can honestly say that lets me down in my diagnostics and fault finding is reading wiring diagrams, it has always held me back because I just can’t for the life of me work them out - this was a great help and starting point, I really hope you continue the series with more wiring diagrams etc (I also follow you on Instagram and was the guy who asked if you could do some wiring diagrams) again, thank you! Keep it up!
Great explanation. I'm in school and we’ve been doing projects with schematics almost identical to what you showed. This helps me understand much better!
Thank you so much for this video not to complain but in the trades most journeyman don’t want to take the time to explain the little things so this video meant a lot to me 👍🏾
Great video txs, I just started tech school for HVAC 3 weeks ago and have been struggling to understand wiring diagrams. This really helped I was getting frustrated with the potential sheets and thought I should have been picking it up quicker.
very nicely explained wiring diagram sir , and also want more detailed wiring diagram like this on various unit with various safety divices connected...
I’m struggling to understand this. Because in the school we need to draw it. Can you ma Lena video showing from the scratch how to draw a ladder diagram? Great video.
i know this is a long time ago. but is possible for you to give the part number of this relay, so i can look up the schematics. I would really appreciate a reply. Knowing the orientation is vital to help in the understanding completely. Great video still, keep up the good works.
Hi, the power coming in and leaving the relay are across from each other and not from up and down from each other. Or is this relay NO & NC are pins up and down from each other? Great video. Thanks
Рік тому
i came across this today...and, myself is not clear on this "relay" info, here: because of NOT KNOWING what orientation this relay has. If, he had only shown the schematic on this relay, it would have cleared up all my cob webs on wiring..aaagggh!!! I still have issues still. But...This is still a great video.
ran across your video and I was wondering if you have any postings that explains how a multi fan diagram looks like. I have a very old thermostat and trying to find the appropriate WIFI replacement. I have wirings that are labeled - R, FAL, Low, MED, HI and C. I figured that FAL is the condenser... any thoughts? this has no heating....
I hope this helps some techs out there!
Thank you a lot 👍
Awesome best hvac instructor I've seen on youtube
This sure is much better understood thank you and God bless you my brother and your family 😊 KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND VIDEOS COMING 😃😃
Great Video about how to read schematic thanks
Thank you for teaching better than trade school
Best how to read wiring explanation I heard since my late father explained to me "This is how to read schematics; First you halve the circuit...Etc."
Thank you! RIP...
wow. 3 years later and still great information. Thanks for sharing!

Not understanding how you'd get 105 to 120 In voltage from L1 to L2. I thought you'd read 0 because there's no potential difference.
He said 120 v power from each side
U really take trouble to explain God Bless
Good content
Thank you sir
