- Brian Acton's 1970 Chevy Nova powered by a single turbo and a 5.3L LS at Midwest Drags (a drag & drive event), and Street Car Takeover, US 131, Martin Michigan.
He won the Small Block Power Adder 8.50 Index class at Midwest Drags, then proceeded to win the Street Racer Mild Class at Street Car Takeover.
At Street Car Takeover, his tuner, Jonathan Michael Capizzi was also entered in a different class that he won, and another Capizzi tuned car won their respective class. I included the finals from all 3 classes.
Quite an Epic week and a half for Brian, and weekend for the Capizzi camp!
Awesome ride! I always liked that gen Nova. Looks as good as it goes. Nice job!
Very nice looking Nova. Extremely fast and consistent too!
Badass nova👍, that white Stang is Sharpe also.
That first 60 tho!
how much power is it pushing here?
Didn’t look like much of a shutdown area at that track.
Wow another ls 😒
Yeah I know right. Once you've seen one you've seen a thousand.
@@brianspangler3771 yeah it get old it's so bad now I get excited to see a coyote or a gen 1 small block lol
@@deondimicks8159 Hell I'm a ford guy and I enjoy seeing an old school small block or big block chevy in an older gm car or truck.
sorry that gm made a good over engineered engine series which is cheap to buy used from junkyard and even in crate form 🙄
with shit ton of aftermarket support and parts everywhere.
a cooler swap than anything domestic would be a 1uz
Love the Nova!!
