@@NateLarsonTheNetNinja Its a whole different game with a turbo engine. Very Streetable and easy on the engine when you're not on it. You don't need 14:1 with twin turbos. Look at Drag Week now, cars driving 1000+ miles, pulling a trailer the whole way, running in the 5s in the quarter... All possible because of twin turbos.

The nova was in hot rod magazine a few years ago, it has so many trick shit it’s unbelievable, notice it doesn’t look like it has a cage??? It’s IN the pillars and up behind the headliner, it was built to be the ultimate sleeper, there many videos of cruising and racing on the street, it goes low 7s when on a timed track

I finally got a chance to see it run tonight in Rinngold Ga... unfortunately he was having issues with boost controller or something...bad ass car still... owner is also cool👍🏾
He got it last yr in hopes of beating the late jeff Hagaman in his world record holding ctsv at street car take over ATL where he lost in the finals to jeff the previous yr...but the rematch never happened due to jeffs wreck shortly b4 Streetcar takeover ATL in a 1/2mile event in Louisiana. .

I had a built 68 for about 8 yrs in the 80s. Wish I still had it. Built a 73 for a guy. 3rd time we took it to the track and got it dialed in real tight he was lined up for hs 4th pass and when the front left left the pavement it twisted so hard the back side windows popped out. Good ol days. Lol
I don't have a stopwatch but I've watched a couple of his runs several times and my count couldn't be off more than a second or so and I'm coming up with sixes in the 1/4. .... Going to get another phone with a stopwatch and check this....crazy fast!
The balance that rear end has is EPIC!! straight shoots like an arrow and doesn't go off track at all. I am impressed.
That Nova is pretty famous in the sleeper/drag/rat/Nova communities. It's a daily driver for the guy, too. Absolutely insane car.
