As we wake up after a troubled night where we had a major leak at 4qm through the skylight wetting the bedding we manage to perform a temporary fix on Harry our Ford Custom campervan. Were looking for as quite day but we continue to have a few DRAMA's with an animal rescue we instigated and then Jane not to be outshone takes a tumble. This leads to a late arrival at Rouen that impressed us with a spectacular cathedral that blew us away. A stressful drive out of the city with some illegal manoeuvres soon turns into a river side parkup that has lots going on.

So pleased you kick started the sheep rescue, we'd have done the same. I've had so many falls, I'm paranoid, glad you could both see the funny side. I went to Rouen as a teenager on a school trip, I remember the cathedral and the large clock. I would love to return. The park up looked amazing. Thanks for the entertainment 🚐❤️😀
It was one of my most favourite park ups ever. So much to watch. The cathedral was on another level wasnt it. Hope you get back there one day. We would definitely return.

No Im glad to say it was mostly quite a smooth ride 🤦♀️😩 door bell got sorted 😂. We just put whatever we have in the salad. With just oil lemon and seasoning. What we really feel makes difference (to us anyway) is chopping it up small as we find it more appetising. Thanks for watching 😊 jane

Sorry Jane but that was hilarious that Stew seemed oblivious to your situation. This was a fantastic video especially the castle and cathedral such beautiful historical places to visit. That final park up was such a great spot too.

In fairness I was sat upright by the time he arrived back after a few attempts to get up - but I just knew what was coming. That park up was one of my favourites ever. So interesting watching the ships go by. Jane 😊

The intricate stone work in the cathedral makes you wonder how they actually got that high. And then to top it off a great park up and a good night's sleep.

I felt your pain after your fall Jane! Same happened to me last week while out for a walk in Inverness! I burst out laughing too, I think to cover my embarrassment! The cathedral looked beautiful.

Yes you would love the Rhine, honestly it's fantastic, I can sit there all day just watching those boats of all sizes. I find it so relaxing at night hearing the sound on the working barges, chugging up stream.

The number of sheep?we have rescued over the years. Lovely animals but so dopey at times. We have a sheep of our own called Mabel who lives on my cousins farm.

Sorry Jane. Tears are pouring down my face & a real good belly laugh. Not laughing at your predicament but at knowing Stew so well at his reaction. “Do you notice anything different” no are you hurt dear “you stupid thing”. “Im sat in the mud”. Is it something you do everyday Jane. Out of all the marvellous videos you have made, I’m not going to forget this one. If it was me, I’d have thrown mud at him & said “well we are both dirty now”. I just KNEW he was so wrapped up in his sheep rescue that he wouldnt notice. Wished I'd placed a bet on it. And to be honest once the ride had started at the top and I knew there was only one way down I almost embraced it 😂😂.
I think the cathedral evolved over many centuries with parts being rebuilt and it also had its fair share of damage caused by war and fire etc . Pretty amazing wasnt it. It was hard to do it justice with a camera !

The sizes of churches in France bear no relation to the size of the village 😀 Also every steeple/ spire is different from any other!
Yes you will see soon we come across two fantastic abbeys in what is low populated areas but they are stunning

Glad you are okay after your tumble, Jane😅. We stayed at the same park up in Rouen where you were first , hope you found the best bakery ever 150 metres away 😂. What made us laugh is we had exactly the same issues as you guys with the roads. The sat nav tried to take us underground, and we had to reverse
