Our parkup next to the town of Thaon reveals a hidden church that dates back to Roman times. It seems to be a local hidden secret as it is not well signposted but that adds to its charm and is a great example of what vanlife can bring you. The following day having Harry spent the night parked next to a BIG sleeping companion we head for Juno Beach where the Canadian force came ashore. A quick look at Gold Beach and the remains of a Mulberry Harbour completes the day before we struggle a little to find a parkup for the night so head inland.

That church you found at the start was in such a remote place, no roads to it or buildings around it, just a piece of history there to be stumbled upon, just love it 👍💕
