We continue south on our mini UK tour and arrive at Dartmouth / Kingswear where from the vantage point of my brothers house we witness an Air Sea Rescue takes places and shows great team work with the emergency services. We spend a good night at a Council provided Motorhome car park in Totnes.

I want your brother’s house! What a view! I agree Jane…something magical about horses on a beach.
Cheers and fun travels guys.🎉
Yes they only just moved in from the other side of the river but this has a stunning view from the garden
Thanks for watching
Great video Jane and Stew, I loved those narrow hedge lined roads when I used to pull the caravan down there. NOT!! What a great house your brother has, the view is stunning.
Yes Devon and Cornwall do a good lane lol - yes they have a cracking view from the garden
Your brother has a wonderful view from his house. Love Dartmouth and those beaches looked beautiful too 😀👍
It’s a really nice area - they used to live on Dartmouth side but think I prefer their new Kingswear location
Wow. How lucky is your brother living there and having that view. We have the marine app on our phones along with flight radar. Always good for looking at during an evening when we are sat in the van wherever we are.
We have so much respect for lifeboat crews. We know a couple of crew members in different areas and their dedication is above and beyond. Another enjoyable episode. Thanks both
I kinda laughed when Stew said it was a warm day at 22°C….I’m very jealous. We just had a week w heat index as high as 115°F.
Gorgeous little town! Another spot added to my must visit list when I’m next back in the UK.
😂 it’s all relative I guess what your used to - were in Poland in 30 degrees and feel like a sauna 😂
Thanks for watching
What a lovely part of the world. Stunning view from your brother’s house. Shame no fish you could have put them on the BBQ. Beautiful harbour. Well timed with the train. Must take a look at Dartmouth as we’ve never been there. Lovely vlog guys. Thanks for posting. 👍🙏❤️
You should definitely go as it’s a great place …. Brothers house has the best view
You captured all that drama really well Stew, good to see the RNLI on the ball, hope the person is ok.
Well I was on my limits with my camera so it was a bit wobbly and didn’t have my tripod with me in the garden - great view of it all lol 😂
Thanks for watching
I had the best holiday down there years ago, the best tan I ever had, two weeks of sunshine, never went back as it took us 10 hours to get back to the M4. thanks for sharing. ATB
Yes the roads to it can be a little challenging but a lovely place - thanks for watching and commenting
Oh yes those narrow hedge lined roads - scary memories of when I hired a campervan and toured Devon & Cornwall - yet in retrospect - exhilarating as well, so unlike our wide open SA roads, made me feel I really was travelling in a different country. Your brother absolutely lives in a dream place 💙🦋
Yes Devon & Cornwall do have some of the narrowest ones and they all generally take you to a gorgeous place
My brother used to live on the other side of the river but the view they now have is stunning
One of my favourite sailing destinations and as a visiting yachtsman it is custom and practice to be allowed in the royal dart yacht club and Dartmouth yacht club on the Dartmouth side. another great video, thanks Stew and Jane. If you haven’t been there during Dartmouth regatta it’s a great spectacle.
My brother has a boat moored up the river so is well versed in the clubs lol 😂 had several visits down there with various festivals and a very friendly place
Thanks for watching
We travelled from Paington to Dartmouth and then to Plymouth for 2 pounds trips, all by public transport. It was awesome 😎🇦🇺.
What a bargain - thanks for watching
Hi Jane and Stu, 👋
A great place to catch up with you guys again, Dartmouth, I was there last year and I had great weather too.
I've just returned home from hospital. I experienced ones worst nightmare. On my annual Europe trip, after spending 2 weeks with friends in Poland, I headed for Austria via Czech Republic. I landed on a wonderful campsite overlooking Lake Thiersee, where it all went horribly wrong. I collapsed in the van, luckily I managed to get the attention of the family next door who raised the alarm. Next thing I remember is someone speaking to me in hospital, saying I had been a sleep for 4 weeks. I spent a total of 8 weeks in the Austrian hospital, where they basically saved my life.
I had developed sepsis, after a bad lung infection and my kidneys had shut down. They were fantastic, I had to learn to walk again. But now I'm home, walking with just a stick. Kermit will be transported home in the next few days.
I cannot emphasis enough to anyone who reads this the importance of having good travel insurance, especially when you're a solo traveller.
Now I have a lot of your videos to catch up with, I will enjoy 👍🐸
OMG I wondered why we hadn’t seen any comments recently - that is a super scary story and must of been a weird sensation losing 4 weeks of your life. Just proves how important life is and how it can change - glad your neighbours were there to help and you can was kept safe and sound
Take care my friend ….
Goodness me 😱 we are so pleased to hear you are ok and back home. You are spot on with "one's worst nightmare" - sounds like you got help quickly and the care was excellent. We both hope you take it easy and make a full recovery very soon. Jane ☺️
What a vista from their home! Just stunning.
Somewhere we've never been, but we haven't done that much of Devon really and not visited any of Dartmoor. Have Totnes marked off already, so thanks for showing it as you've inspired me to actually go! It looks very pretty there and I like harbour type places.
Oh yeah, the postman at the start was a real Richard Cranium! Hope you can work that one out 😂😂
Being called Richard Head many times mainly from Jane 😂
They used to live in Dartmouth side but I like their view from the garden I must say
Totnes felt was a great stop off and just proves what can be done
@getawaygeese ha ha ha, I like Jane's tactics 😄 I could call it Karl and he'd be clueless lol.
Since we know many facts about you - here is some of my news. I live in a nursing home and I introduced and share your vodeos with about 30 other residents on a big screen. So you bring pleasure not only to me but to another small group of avid followers. All the best.
Omg that has made my day - I can’t believe that we bring at least a smile to their faces. There should be a group subscribe and like button
Thankyou all for watching and above all commenting- hope they like the new Ireland series coming in two weeks time
Thank you for this 🥰 It was such a lovely comment to wake up to ! Say Hi to all ☺️. Jane
How wonderful!
@andie1769 yes it made my day knowing that
Done it again folks. Our video comment is on your earlier post.. Doh!! 😅
lol it’s ok I do it all the time
Great 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Nothing like a bit of drama. Hope they were OK.
We got a parking ticket at that carpark where you stayed. The traffic warden got a letter wrong on our number plate and thought we hadn't paid. Got it sorted eventually!
Fanx for sharing!
Ju
😁
Thanks for watching - bet that felt nice when you were acquitted 😂
@@getawaygeese took a few months though! 🤣
Nice one. A local £10 car park has just shot itself in the foot. Now £30 over night. We love our village but £30 a night is excessive.
It’s almost they can say they support it but well price do actually no one will stay - shame
I think majority of people who visit places are respectful to the point most rubbish I say is deposited by cars with people who show little respect - 10 pound overnight no services but a rubbish bin maybe is a good income for a council say restricted to 0-10 vans
@@getawaygeese I think it may be time to get on the community council and change things LOL
I live in the part of the country & try to avoid those tiny lanes.
Yes my brother said - oh you didn’t come that way lol 😂 all adds to the fun
Hi stu and Jane love the channel just in process of converting my van was just wondering what drone you are using?
Thanks for watching Dji mini 2 but think the 4 is the latest if I remember - it’s really good I have to say but not cheap
