Just wanted to say that I LOVE this type of video where you show us progress over time in one focused video! I so appreciate that you have the patience to film and put your videos together this way. Thanks for what you do and for the enthusiasm you have while you do it :)
Just found your channel now and LOL I just love the way you react to those baby plants while unboxing, it's so real and relatable - exactly how I felt when I unboxed my first ever hoya mail just recently. I'm just now getting into this hobby... and I could just keep watching these videos 😁
These are the best types of videos! Updates!!! Always watch videos with updates. Really helps to see what the plants can look like or what struggles that can come with time and also so exciting to see the growth. Please keep it up! You're the best, kind greetings from Sweden!
WOW! I'm floored with the growth you are having with your hoyas. I've been changing mine over to pon but now I'm reconsidering leca. Thank you for the video showing the growth of each hoya over a period of time.
Wow thank you so much Kevin… Such an interesting video to see the growth on your lovely Hoya’s. I have just ordered a Hoya nicholsoniae New Guinea ghost and hopefully it will be ok, as it’s cold here in the UK !
I am new to Hoyas, i have a few and most of them are in pon, the rest in soil. I am seriously considering trying Leca now after watching your insane growth over the last few months! Especially your new guinea ghost. I just got one a couple weeks ago, even tho its been watered and the roots look just fine, it seems to be getting dehydrated! Oldest leaves are very bendy and Im starting to see wrinkles 😢 I’m gonna let it be for now. Since i just transferred it to pon a few days ago from the sphagnum it came in. So hopefully it acclimates. Amazing you put it so close to the grow light! I’m gonna give that a try too…
I am watching this while I am waiting for my new Hoyas to grow! I LOVE this video because I always want to see the progress and wow, you had some incredible growth!!
Can you do a video on Hoyas that don’t mind growing roots into the reservoir and the one that don’t. How do you manage the Hoyas that don’t like their roots in water.. do you repot or cut them off or not allow the bottom of the pot sit in the reservoir?
Ayo Kevin! I give you a loooot of support from France! You have actually convinced me to buy Hoyas x) indeed I was not really into it but watching your journey with those plants is insane. I may take one soon Kisses from Lyon! 😘
Thanks for a fun and interesting 3months update. I have an archiboldiana in pon and it growing very slowly as well. Got it from thailand and when unboxing it was nearly dried out. I managed to save a couple of leafs nad it stood still for many months. The first new growth tendril grew long but then died off. Now there are 2 new leafs coming out. So crossing my fingers here for it to start thriving. 💚
I love these progress video and please dont ever stop!! Your videos have helped me transition to leca and my plants are thriving and these progress videos give me more confidence to keep going!
Great video, Kevin! 👏 Thank you so much for all the information you provided us with regarding growing conditions. I think it helps us to get realistic expectations about our own plants. I just started my hoya collection, so I'm still learning about all the things they need to grow happy & healthy. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Reno, Nevada, USA. ☺️
This is the first video I've watched of yours, and I subscribed! You are so knowledgeable and have relaxing energy! I came for the New Guinea Ghost, and stayed for your personality 🙂
Hi! I just wanted to offer solace about the Hoya Mathilde splash 😁 mine sent off many ‘normal’ mathilde stems for a while as well until, like yours, it began branching from the main splash stem. Since then, all leaves from that branch has been super splashy! So it appears this may be normal to the adjustment period and yours is doing the same. Best of luck!
Wow, love these kinda videos so much. You are the hoya whisperer, seriously. My hoyas grow super slow, though I am not really fertilizing them lol. It’s okay though, I don’t mind them tiny for now haha. Love juicy pear too, that has been my fave since I was a kid! So good and juicy :P
ugh so happy to creep on your silver hoyas and see how they're doing for you. i just picked up a silver dollar but passed on the NGG because it was significantly more expensive. gunung gadig is NEXT on my wishlist though. also - if you don't have one and you end up loving these bbs, you NEED to get a crassipeteola splash if you find one. by far my most beautiful silvery hoya and they get exponentially more beautiful as the leaves size up - and you'll be able to size up leaves so much faster than i can with your environment.
Omg amazing choice with the silver dollar 👏 also why is the NGG so pricey? It grows so fast! And yes I have a crassi splash 🤩 she's still a baby but I love her so much.
"Y'all are shady..." LOL LAUGHED OUT LOUD LITERALLY! you have a lot of patience to document the progress of a plant, I'm very grateful! I would like to see a video of how you install the sunblaster grow light, I just got one!
Wow i this video is beautiful, you showed the progress of the plants right from the time you unboxed them.Beautiful Hoyas .❤️ Thank you very much . Kevin you said if the Hoyas are still young they don’t really need fertilizers. When do you think they should start getting fertilizers then , about how many months should they be to start receiving nutrients? So maybe that’s the reason why my 2 young Hoyas died because i was giving them nutrients the very first time i received them and they were young!
!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kevin!!! Holy moly this is AMAZING growth for 3 months! My GG from Hoya Etc bloomed in the first three months but no new growth yet. I cannot get over the silver dollar. Actually, need to rewatch this a few times to soak in the full glory of all of them. I'm about to post 3 month update on my Polyneura Albo (also from Cori) and if you ever consider a trade for a cut of your silver dollar please keep me in mind. This video absolutely made my day. Hope you know how awesome you are.
Ok, don't know how I missed thus video, amazing, I kinda feel bad because I could gave given you cuttings of a few of these. Time just leaves us. Happy for you, and if course, amazing growth. 💚💚💚
Your plants are beautiful. Can you do a video talking about your nutrient solution for each type of plant and how you do them. Like for this do you mix everything together? It seems like a lot of different things in the water. I don’t want to kill my hoyas, but I would love for them to look as beautiful as yours!
your hoyas grow so fast and are always so stunning! keep these before / after videos coming! out of curiosity, what do you do when the roots grow into the reservoir and cause the plant to decline? do you just cut them? also why do you say leca plants get more nutrients than pon?
Great video. Thank you. I have a question, though. Is there a video in which you explain how you water your hoya in leca? Mine won't grow whether it's leca or pon. I guess I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what. I'd be grateful for some advice.
i know you previously said your hoya videos do the worst, but i love your hoya videos! these progress videos are also amazing, especially when people question leca/pon growth
OMG Kevin I love your videos!! Always have time for anything Hoya related. Also, have you ever done a video on the type of nutrient solution you use or your recipe for the amazing growth on your plants? Can you please indulge me and share your secrets 🙂
Love this video ❤️ I’ve just ordered some Hoyas and can’t wait until they arrive. Do you leave the roots to grow in to the reservoir or would you repot them at that point?
Lovely video Kevin, loved it! Your new hoyas are all stunning! I found hoya grows well in leca for me too , but I have some in soil mixes. I have a question regarding not to trellis the hoyas, what will you do once there are lots of tendrils and it grows like crazy and messy?
Amazing progress! I really appreciate progress videos. They are very informative. Out of curiosity, did you start with a half dilution nutrient solution? Thank you Kevin!
Wow.. Hoya Gunung Gading is from where im from (Sarawak, Borneo) and i had never seen those. Gading National Park is about 1.5hrs drive from town, so not a place to drive to often 😂
Omg I love this video! Um I’ve had A few Hoyas and they no way grow this fast. When you say you change the nutrient solution every couple of weeks, does that mean you rinse out the reservoir and pour in (over on the leca)the new solution? I know that in my case it’s different because all my Hoyas are outside, but I might experiment and put a couple under grow light and inside. Thanks Kevin.
Like wildfern i love the silvery leaves i love the 3 silvery hoya and the insularis really funny haha.. i 3months are really quick to have that lush hoyas .nice !!
when u have a chance can u do a care hoya video pleaseeee lol i can believe how ur hoyas grows u have that green thumb as soon ur new plant see u they love u 💚💚💚💚
I need your exact recipe for the plant growth on these plants!! Lighting, nutrients, 4 leaf clovers, voodoo, sugar and spice and everything nice etc what it is, I need it!
I am always in awe of your plants. The amount of growth you achieve is out of this world. I have like 3 hoya. One ive had for years and it doesnt do anything lmao 🤣 maybe i have to switch it to leca idk but wowsers!!!!
I die every time you drop leca. The look on your face is so funny. Love your channel🥰 oh btw can I use liquid organic fertilizer with leca? I’m new to leca but the growth is amazing just using water but I think they need more.

Aw thanks Emily ☺️💚 I like these videos too! I'm glad you liked it 🙂
Me too, have resently found your Chanel and love all the videos i've seen😊 Thank you for all hours hard work for us 😊
I love watching these. Your excitement is contagious and it is so much fun to watch the progress of your plants!
It’s incredible that you had this much of growth within 3 months!
Love this type of video! I’m not patient enough to wait for updates so I LOVE that it was all in one video lol
Haha right? I'm the same. I started filming a bunch but they won't be ready till the fall 😂😅
Wow!! You are a hoya whisperer I swear! Impressive growth!

I just discussed. I love the way you show updated over time. Such a unique viewpoint that is very valuable. Amazing growth.

I've watched this three times in a row now and I've been taking notes on the ones I like 🤣
This video was so good! I love seeing the progress, especially with your Hoyas! Thank you!!!

The growth! 😃 These videos are so satisfying! Thanks for all the work, time and documentation put into producing them!
Were did you buy these beautiful hoyas from?❤
So I use your same nutrient solution with my Hoyas in pon as well, and they absolutely explode with growth too. Highly recommend.
Wow thank you so much Kevin… Such an interesting video to see the growth on your lovely Hoya’s. I have just ordered a Hoya nicholsoniae New Guinea ghost and hopefully it will be ok, as it’s cold here in the UK !

Wow! Those are some beautiful hoyas! Too expensive for me but I will enjoy watching yours grow.
Haha omg that's why I was so worried 😂 thankfully they don't hate me haha 💚
Amazing! I love how excited you are about your plants.
Thanks for a fun and interesting 3months update. I have an archiboldiana in pon and it growing very slowly as well. Got it from thailand and when unboxing it was nearly dried out. Kevin, it’s both light and nutrition. And this happens majority that has variegation or white in them. But overall, you are a great plant parent 🍀
How!!!!! You are the definition a plant whisperer. I can even get my Lisa to grow more than 2 leaves in 2 months
This is the first video I've watched of yours, and I subscribed! You are so knowledgeable and have relaxing energy! I came for the New Guinea Ghost, and stayed for your personality 🙂

Great video. Thank you. I have a question, though. Is there a video in which you explain how you water your hoya in leca? Mine won't grow whether it's leca or pon. I guess I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what. I'd be grateful for some advice.
Love love them all. ❤️ love your videos Kevin and all the great information you provide. Thank you 😊

I've never used organic ones but I'm sure you can. ☺️
Haha aw thanks Mary 😂
@@hollypuckett3931 thank you
How the hell you do that? I have my Hoyas outdoors in Florida. They have, light, heat and humidity and they don’t grow so fast 😩
Fertilizer 🙂
Oh no!! I'm not sure. Mine get about 16 hours of light under the growlights. Maybe that's a factor? Or nutrients and aeration around the roots? 💚
