I love Hoya! Bring on more Hoya content. Love all my plants but Hoya are just so special. Thank you for all your videos, always learn something from them
I’ve been growing my Hoya collection for almost 2yrs. My favorite Hoyas are the big veiny reptile variety. I just purchased a clemisorium…I love my Hoyas. Yes please , I vote more Hoya updates videos
KEvin is so nice to see the progress the chinghungensis is massive now! I am a total hoya head and you are the reason my collection keeps growing... the glabra has been so frustrating for me I love it so much but she is just giving me tendrils and no leaves.. she is under a growlight and in pon :( I don't know what she wants from me 🤨
So I have an outer variegated latifolia (you know the one they used to call macrophylla) anyway it pushed out one leaf that was veining laterally instead of horizontally across the leaf… so weird. Anyway I chopped that node. Very interested to see if it’s a mutant of some sort. Have you… or anyone seen this before? all to say I love your weird leaves and that you saved them to see what happens!
Your Hoyas are stunning! 🥰Hoya serpens is my fav, I'm growing one from a cutting, I think I'll let it trail. Anyway now it's only 4 leaves :D so I have time to decide! :D Beside the small leaves, I love the flowers, light green and fuzzy! 😍
Great tour! Thank you! Regarding h. serpens and blooming it, I have some experience to shared which may or may not be helpful. I have a serpens which used to live in my bathroom shower, just offset from an east-facing window on one of those corner shower-shelves for shampoo. It would bloom seasonally for me, typically budding up in January and blooming in March if I remember correctly. It never bloomed before this, but the blooming pattern went on for three years until I moved it into my office, also in an east window just a room away. It hasn't bloomed since, but has grown considerably. The key differences between these two locations in the winter months is the bathroom is, of course, more humid, but also cold. It's that kind of bathroom where in the morning, there is a serious chill in the air because that window in the shower isn't great at keeping heat in, and is probably 60 degrees Fahrenheit in the morning on a winter day, warming up to about 67/68 during the daytime. The neighboring office room on the other hand is closer to 70 or 21 Celsius and drier from January-March. I am convinced the key to blooming serpens is a period of lower temperatures and high humidity, but I've never tried to repeat this, as the shower space is no longer available and I've yet to find a place in my house to simulate those conditions. Good luck!
Hi! I’m new to your channel and I’m loving your Hoya collection!! So impressive as I love Hoya so much and I just can’t keep them alive! 😢I can’t wait to learn more and just soak up your experience and passion for the Hoya community!! Thanks for sharing ❤
Love it Kevin. I have to say, your hoya videos definitely inspired my collection. I have a little Schlechter now, just starting sending out a new tendril and time for a repot. I didn't realize how big the leaves actually are but I'm excited to see how it does. I do have a bella 'Anneke Buis' that sent out a sport growth with just a small bit of green near the midvein but the rest is a golden yellow and it seems stable so I have that starting to root. May have to make a short. Anyway have an awesome weekend
I only collect hoyas. imo I would rather all of my plants have similar care needs. easier to keep up with 100 plants that way. So yes more hoya content!
Okay, so just wow on all of your Hoya's. I just have to know two questions. How can you go on holiday, who looks after your plants? Is this your full time job? Just love your collection
Well thats quite a hoya collection 👏👏👏👏 my outer varigated bella has 3 peduncles and I am excited! And I am getting a hoya spartioides from CSN 🎉 Hope you are staying warm today. At least its sunny 💚🌿
I knocked the tip off a carnosa recently and i managed to wet stick it in Spag. but it took 6 weeks. my caudata is about to go off, and i am fairly sure my calistophila a chicken farm from borneo are growing half an inch a day
I love Hoya! I want to start getting into the more rare varieties as I only have the "basics". I love your content and to see the different ways you grow the Hoyas. I plan to start growing cuttings of other plants in leca and (pon?) once I learn more about it!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful Hoyas again! I love your videos :) As for the wonky looking leaves on your sulawesi gps 8867, I’ve had similar problems for a variety of reason 😅 (most probably won’t apply to you 😅) The first one, for me, was a sudden change in humidity, either to super high or super low. Nutrition issues also happened to me - diffuse spots in addition to the misshapen leaves could indicate a nutrition deficiency or fertilizer burn. I’ve had new leaves that grew really close to grow lights come out misshapen. And unfortunately, broad mites were also a cause. I recently was frustrated that some of my Hoyas weren’t growing, and examined about 40 of them with a microscope. I only found about 3 tiny red spots, but I treated the entire collection… and now most are starting to grow normally again. I hope any of that helps!
Hello fellow, Canadian love your videos. What do you use to make your trellisses for your Hoyas? I’d rather just use a simple, wire or whatever you use rather than bamboo which is what I use now for all of my Hoyas I fine with the bamboo I’m always cutting them down and wasting them I’d rather make my own to whatever size I would like. Thanks so much.
Your hoya glabra schlechter is do beautiful! I was sold a cutting with 2 leaves months ago and it rooted up like a dream and started growing so quickly but every leaf it's tried to push out eventually drops. Is yours finicky at all? I'm worried it might be mites of some kind
so, let me get this right: you train them down (no trellis) then they tendril but also branch? then you would trellis them once theyve branched out enough? I have five or six hoyas now, and I started all of them from one or two node cuttings. I want them to be full!
Hey, I've noticed a lot of your plants have grow lights, even when right next to your brightest windows. Just out of curiousity, why is that? Is it that you don't get much light through your windows? Or is it that you just preffer to grow your plants in super bright conditions?
Out of curiosity, do the big-leaved Hoyas not climb very elegantly? Just curious why you trellis some of them and not others. You have such a extensive collection, I'm learning to much! Thanks for sharing!
Hey! I find that sometimes they bigger leaves ones need more support sometimes in order to push out leaves. But ultimately it depends on the Hoya and I like to experiment myself haha 💚 thank you
That thumbnail snatched my attention so fast sheeeesh you have some of the prettiest hoyas I've ever seen 🙌
Haha aw thank you 💚💚
Hoyas are my fav genus every time you showcase yours I am sat!

Keiki paste put on those unproductive nodes should help you get them to put out leaves there.
Kevin I LOVE HOYA!! Also I really want to see a compilation video of leca drops, I think I need this in my life. Thanks for the video!
Love hoya!! I'd love to see videos where you chop some of the big ones!
Beautiful collection, I'm a Hoya head and would love to see more of your collection!!!
I only collect hoyas. imo I would rather all of my plants have similar care needs. easier to keep up with 100 plants that way. So yes more hoya content!

Meanwhile there is snowstorm outside 🥲
Beautiful hoyas!

Your hoyas are so perfect 😍 I’m soo bad for knocking off the new leaves when they come in so the vibes end up looking bare and I just propagate 😡
wowwww so nice in your hoya so perfect care i love all of those
Thanks for sharing your beautiful Hoyas again! Kevin!!! You have so many! I love hoyas and was wondering if you could recommend some for the beginners??
Love love love hoya. Hopefully if you do sell any this spring or summer I hope I can get a few.

Part 2 just as srunning as part 1. Thank you.
Hello Kevin, thanks for all you do for us. I am unclear where you source your hoya trellis wires. I may have missed the memo……? Thanks in advance!
Wow didn’t know you had that many hoyas! They all look great! Hopefully I can get a few more this year 😊
How do you keep them so beautiful!! My house is so cold with Northern light and don't think my lights are enough 😕 but i don't lose hope
I am so much into hoyas. I prefer hoyas over philodendrons and monstera. Choice is tough tho.😢
Your hoya glabra schlechter is do beautiful! I was sold a cutting with 2 leaves months ago and it rooted up like a dream and started growing so quickly but every leaf it's tried to push out eventually drops. Is yours finicky at all? I'm worried it might be mites of some kind
Just beautiful ❤
Loving the Hoya content!!❤
Have you ever thought of using a heat mat to help with propagation
Hello Kevin! How do you decide whether to put a certain variety into a pon or leca?
