I know this video has been out awhile, but I'm so grateful I came across it today! I have finally found a doctor that recommended the snap in's rather than All on 4's...just yet. All in total top and bottom, 20k. My teeth, or should I say lack of teeth, have held me from so many things in life. The pure embarrassment of having missing teeth is bad enough, but even worse trying to explain why these things happened to you. I cried nightly for YEARS. Now, for my 35th birthday, I will be getting my smile back -- or an even better one! My doctor did recommend more posts for me on the bottom and top - just in case if one would fail, I understand the risks. I saw negative comments regarding the snap in's and started to then get extremely nervous about this treatment option. After seeing this video - I can honestly say that I can't wait to get my snap in's and have a nice, white, full smile again!!! Thank you both for your time and education you provided in this video.
I’m also getting the snap ins over all on 4! They’ve already pulled out all of my molars and next week they’ll do the rest and then the implants. I’m so happy for you and I can definitely relate to your excitement about having a full beautiful white smile! Congrats - it will be life changing for the better no doubt 🎉🤍 🙌🏻 😁
I also am getting these!! I've been reading pro's and cons for over a year now. I really didn't want to spend that amount of money for all on 4 at my age of 61, but just didn't want to have to get plain dentures... My consultation is next week! Please let me know how yours all turned out!!
In Europe we use overdentures fixed with a bar very tight on 4 implants the teeth can be zirkonia, ceramic or composite or plastic..you can bite easy an 🍎 it is like the 4 on system.
Really excellent, sensible informative advice. I have just made an appointment with a trusted dentist to start the process of snap on dentures here in Australia. Thank you very much. I am watching all your UA-cam videos on the subject. They are the best on UA-cam
Growing up very poor we didn't have milk to drink and lived mostly on vegetables from the garden,no extea vitamins & no dental care. Many times had to brush out teeth with baking soda & salt. As kids,we tried to take care of our teeth, but we had nothing to care for them with. So as adults of course we started getting cavities, root canals, extractions in our teens & early 20's simply because we had no insurance and not enough $ for proper dental care. To make a long stirring short,by 45 my teeth were pretty much gone. It took me till 63 to get dentures, and i was lucky i got a good dentist who took good care of the fit & how natural they look in my mouth, as i have a small mouth he did a great job on them. I wish i could get the snap.on yall are talking about, but my state insurance won't pay for them. In fact i had to have 8 extractions at once with only local and the pain was almost more than i could stand. I was in tears. My dentist kept giving more local but it just didn't help. I've got to go have mine realined,is that the term? They are getting a bit loose even with the adhesive. To have the snap one would be a dream come true, but i tell myself to stop complaining and be grateful to have dentures at all so i can smile & speak clearly. Thank God for dentists that go above & beyond & help those of us who have state insurance so we don't have to go toothless & ashamed anymore. ❤❤❤❤
I’ve had snap in dentures for a year and a half, top and bottom. 4 implants on top, 4 on bottom. And it’s been a nightmare. The top arch keeps breaking in half. I’m currently waiting on my fourth new top arch and my first new bottom arch and sitting here again without teeth and unable to eat solid food. I have spent my whole life savings on these teeth and I’ve gone without teeth more than I’ve had teeth in the last year and a half. The dentist tells me that if this doesn’t work, he can’t help me and I’m on my own. I have absolutely no idea where to turn next. I don’t have problems at all with my implants. It’s the arches that keep breaking. Any suggestions? I’m ready to have my abutments unscrewed, let my gums grow over them and be done with snap ins. Just thinking about how much money I’ve blown on this dream makes me wanna cry.
I have been searching everywhere for a Dr Bellingham and Dr Choi here in Illinois it is really so hard to find good doctors like you both here that is why so many of us have bad teeth now we cannot find the trust like we have found in you two. Still searching :) Thank you both for all your great advise and time you have given us great doctors here.
Im getting snap ins .Cant afford the permanent and refuse to wear regular dentures just purely on not watnting the roof of mouth covered. It's the middle of the road option .
That can be widely true. I know a former dentist from Taiwan who left dentistry because that permeated the field. But to say it's universal would be cynical and might not serve one's best interests. For me, I'd say it's more a matter of trusting than simply believing.
These guys are unbelievable, Let's start off with 2 implants and then upsell to 4 implants, and now let's upsell to All-On-Four; I wouldn't trust these guys any further than I could throw them. Not once mentioning the cost of either procedure because men like this just want to get you into their surgery and upsell, upsell upsell to get as much money out of suckers as they can. They will never mention a price because their answer to that is "It's so variable, you have to come in and let us appraise you" and depending on how gullible the patient is, will set the price. They claim to have done thousands of these implants and yet, they can't even tell us the average cost to do the work. "Come in," said the spider to the fly. If you are so experienced guys and have done thousands of these implants as you claim, surely you have some idea of the cost? HOW ABOUT AN EDUCATED BALLPARK FIGURE? And stop taking people for idiots because your upselling pitch is as transparent as a plate glass window.
For the extra work and cost associated with a four implant over denture, I'd want to compare the cost of the best prosthesis vs the best all-on-four prosthesis
I hear a Full Zirconian Bridge is the way to go. Takes months for the bones to heal after each surgery but it takes time, if you have a good dentist that cares. All On 4 removes up to a 1/2" of bone in your upper & lower Jaw. Dentist are trained to preserve Bone & Tissue. So why cut out so much bone? There's a great video out there about this. Full on Bridge I believe is what he said is the way to go but extremely expensive
I got snap on dentures on the top with 6 implants. I found that if I bite something harder on the front teeth that the denture at the back comes out of the implants. Should I be chewing on the sides, which keep the denture in.
I have a big bone lose on upper jaw,so my dentist suggested only 3 implants in upper jaw for snap on denture,is this really possible or is it just extra money for my dentist. Thank you
Haven't found the video, I believe, you talked about having next, explaining Permanent Full Denture Implants vs Snap In Full Denture Implants. I'm having dental work done now for the lower Snap In Dental Implants. I have a friend that has Permanent Dental Implants the dentist takes out and cleans yearly and he loves his. However, Upper and Lower Full Permanent Dental Implants cost him $50k (for the pair) which is much more expensive! I would still like to hear the differences from you two. Thank you for providing honest, sensible information for all of us!
Can you have a full upper denture and still use 1 or 2 implants to snap it in? I had 5 implants on the top holding the denture with the middle cut out and screwed in. All but 1 failed and I now have a full upper while I decide what to do. Honestly if the full would hold with 1 or 2 implants and I could still get the suction of having the roof of my mouth covered I'd just tr that...I do have the 1 implant still burned in my gum (they took out the other 4)...
I agree 100% I’m getting my dentures and I can only afford two implants on bottom this year I had to take some of my retirement money to do this because insurance doesn’t cover implants but about maybe 10 to 15% it should be under your medical benefits Because most peoples medical problems start when they have bad teeth and I can’t eat right now I eat unhealthy foods and cars mini mini more health problems if I had the medical insurance to pay for this I would’ve got all on four but no problem still had to pay $11,000 out of my own pocket
I got dentures in June of 2020 by far the worst mistake besides having a perfect and pretty smile they are worthless I wouldn't reccomenf anyone wasting their money on a regular pair. I have never even been able to wear my bottom ones can't chew anything and they are so uncomfortable. Wish I would of seen this before.

I did the all on 4. I'm still on the healing process but the prosthesis is not fitting correctly & I have a long transition line. Second opionions want to remove and re do everything. Can I use this implants for snap on? I have 5 implants
excellent question. its possible you can use those implants for a snap on but not a guarantee. they have multiunit abutments that can allow you to compensate for angles on an all on 4 to convert to all on 4 but its not a guarantee. snap on dentures need to be very parallel. depending on how much you're showing of your transition line for all on 4, it may be better to take the implants out and start over. its very difficult to say what to do without looking at xrays and photos
What if I can’t afford the implants??? I will try to heed your advice. I have been told that I need surgery to build my top gums. #boneloss What does my ‘snap in’ future look like, if I get there?
