Amazing info, thank you. I have periodontis and my teeth are loose especially the back ones. I’ve got a quote for all on 4 and I’m trying to get informed so that I know the risks. You are so helpful. I wish I could come to you as I would feel safe.

This is a GREAT presentation! After years of extractions, root canals, crowns, pain, and implants, my general dentist just recommended that instead of re-doing my old work, that I consider an all-on-4 option. Your videos have really helped take away the uncertainty of this decision and helped me see it may be best to travel from South Texas to North Texas to have this done.

Nothing against you, your awesome. Thank you doctor for your work in bringing usable information to us.
But all i hear when dentist talking,
is when i was a kid, the dentist yelling at me because he kept jabbing the needle in my nerves and i can say, theres nothing quite like it. Outside of the ridiculous way the body jerks all on its own, seeing stars, (pretty sure theres a momentary blackout/loss of consciousness, but the ridiculous level of pain.
Ive been shot, stabbed, blown up, shrapnel still rubbing up on nerves, damaged spine that gave incomplete paralysis (9 vertebrae compaction) knees, elbows, you name it...getting tiny shrapnel hitting, stuck in your eyeballs sucks monkeyballs too. That hurts, alot.
None of came close to how getting a nerve in your mouth jabbed by a needle, hits your reset button. Its like the worst pain ever mixed with getting hit by lightning in your eyeballs.
Getting it dug out isnt fun either. But when its removed, the sudden instant loss of pain. Awesomeness. Lol.
3 separate occasions as a child too i got the needle in the nerve garbage. Then one time as an adult. I was nope. Im done. Id rather have my big toe-nails removed without getting numbed. (Which ive had none on me by Army docs with a eedle nose and wire cutters. I kid yall not. Ok, now that im remembering it, that was actually bad. Wanted to scream but couldnt. I remember my body lifting off the table, but keeping my foot stable. Then collapsing back down when they were done.
Then they said, ok, now the other foot.
Fortunately, they were cool because i know i said some pretty nasty expletives while they rammed those needle noses up the nail all the way to the cuticle. They were sweating as much as i was from it.
Then they shoved the wire cutters to clip the nail there. The most fun part is when they then went back with the needle nose and peeled the toe nail off. And befire i could catch my breath, they jabbed the needle nose on the other side of the toe.
Then 2 more times on the other toe.
And yet, that needle in your mouth hitting that nerve and your body suddenly goes into exorcist level flailing and levitating. Lol.
Just remembering it caused me to have a mild panic attack.
Im a grown man. But the thought of going to a dentist office.
    Id rather catch rabies.
Why did i find writing all this so funny?

I have a snapin denture. Money was the main reason i settled on this. I was able to get my teeth pulled, bone graph, 4 implants, and temporary and final denture for $9400. My issue is, having worn the denture for 6 months I realized the Pallet really bothers me and my dss prefers to leave the pallet for more suport. I shared this with my dss and he suggested I go with a zirconium arch prostitic instead. His office doesn't do them but he assured me the implants would carry it. I've been trying to find out how much it would cost for just getting the zirconium full arch made and installed but no one want to even give me a ball park price.

Yes, that was very helpful. I definitely feel more confident about wanting all on 4’s. No matter how much I brush my teeth and floss they are still just rotting away. The fillings in cavities break off. I’ve been to the dentist so many times that I’m getting phantom pains from where they stick the needle to numb my mouth. I must let you know as I'm beginning to watch many of your past posts that the music you are playing over your conversations with us and as you are educating all of us is extremely irritating.
Its very nice to hear soft music in the background as a patient in the dental chair at your office, but in this format, sitting on my couch trying to educate myself and understand this foreign medical subject and procedure,
I find it very distracting, frustrating, and unnecessary. Isn't it possible to turn off the music ? Especially when you are filming here on utube.

Would a “neighborhood dentist” who mainly fills cavities be ok to do implants or veneers? According to them, they can do it. So, see the confusion. Plus, if I go to several dentists to talk about dentures, implants etc.., this will cost me for each dentist I go to. Should dentists offer free consulting when it pertains to implants? Help please.

Hi Dr. Choi, last month I had a tooth extraction on my right upper molar due to an abscesses failed root canal (I did not have a bone graft right after).Next to it is another root canal tooth which I think was affected during the extraction process because of all the maneuvering. Eventually the crown of the other tooth became loose and fell off (a month after) and it has very little structure left. Since that was the case I was opting to go with extracting it and plan to do dental implants instead of retreating it. Since my initial tooth extraction did not have a bone graft, the dentist advised me to do it after 4 months of healing. Now im in the situation of wanting to do the dental bone graft right after the 2nd tooth extraction. However, the dentist said it will be pointless to do it because I’ll be doing the bone graft of the other missing tooth so he said it should just be done at the same time. In the meantime he is advising to wait for healing after the extractions then do bone graft for both at the same time. But my feeling is I still want to do a bone graft right after the 2nd tooth extraction for socket preservation/more bone structure for the future dental implant. Needing your advise. Thank you.

@@northtexasdentalsurgery I wish you were in NY. As you mention in the vid, a good dentist you can trust is very difficult to find. If you can't answer the following question, I totally understand. I have a lower premolar which had a pretty bad cavity on the lower front area which was treated with a filling in 2017. In 2019, it became infected, and given the choice between root canal and an implant, I went with the root canal, mostly because I have an aversion to putting metal in my body and I think I might be allergic to nickel. Also, I asked the dentist if it would be okay not to put a crown on it. He was hesitant but willing to follow my wishes saying that particular tooth usually doesn't get much pressure put on it. In December 2022, the filling in that tooth from 2017 fell out. I realized this around two weeks after it fell out when I experienced similar symptoms from the infection. The symptoms subsided on January 7. But I saw a dentist on January 9 and another on January 31. I was hoping one of them would use a CBCT to see if there was another infection, one that a panoramic or other 2D x-ray might not pick up. One didn't have the machine, and the other said my insurance wouldn't cover it. He also said it wasn't necessary. Both couldn't detect any infection anywhere in my mouth. Both recommended a crown if not an implant, but both were willing to put just another filling. As I write this, the symptoms seem to be returning. Maybe the scaling nudged something the wrong way, and triggered another leak of some sort. My lower left wisdom tooth has an old metal filling and has a hairline fracture I'm also told. Maybe it's one or the other tooth, or both. All this to ask, would extracting both teeth, and not replacing the premolar with anything put me at great risk of bone loss or shifting teeth? I know you'd have to see my specific case, but just in general? I'm thinking a retainer at night, along with a guard against grinding, could help prevent shifting of the teeth. But I'm told I have bone loss here and there already, especially in the upper jaw. Sorry for the long winded background. Again, I would totally understand if you didn't even read it. Just taking a desperate shot in the dark. I don't really care about aesthetics. I just want to keep the rest of my teeth healthy. Thank you for your vids.

You never address this process in your clinic and I feel it's important to offer other options! Not everyone has the money for implants and why make them feel "less than" when dentures are such a great option. DO NOT RINSE YOUR TEETH. This is my first implant so I had no idea. I was bleeding so I took the flipper out when I got home and rinsed the crap out of it. I noticed that a piece of plastic/gel type thing came out. Is it bad and should I go back and tell my dentist? Never rinsed it after that and wearing the flipper piece. Still baffled how come the doctor never warned about this important thing.

No the bridge was fine. I had the tooth it was attached to. Get very decayed and infected. So the bridge was removed. Along with the rest of my natural teeth. As my of fact the dentist had hard time removing. The bridge that is how secure it was. My apologies for not explaining myself more clearly. Also not responding to you in timely manner.

I wonder what the ramifications of having titanium rods scred into the skull. Phonetics and Spiritual effects. Wisdom tooth Eye tooth etc wouldn't have such names if not related somehow to the brain the mind.

In future videos, please leave out the music. It is distracting noise to what is otherwise a good, informative video. Thank you.

You deleted my comment. Didn't like anyone questioning you about your prices, did you.

Do away with the background music. Makes it harder to hear and understand you.

My long time friend lost all his teeth and he doesn't care. He still eats hamburgers.

I just had all of my teeth pulled in February. I don’t have any teeth either. I ate hamburger and French fries on Tuesday for lunch. Small bites and eat slowly.

Honestly, Dr. you are missing an opportunity to give important information. You sound like rambling…
Seriously… a Lamborghini as an example for patients who need All on Four or dentures?
Where is the compassion and sincerity?

Turn off the music and speak to the public like a professional.
