And since I’m from Egypt, is it correct to say “Jsem z Egypta”? Or how should I say it?

I like your channel very much. I use it beside DuoLingo and I prefer yours. That is because of your explanation of the rules. I need grammar rules to understand. I also use memrise app. Unfortunately there are some mistakes in that, eg Praha is bar. Not all the words that I study are accompanied by the vocal version. In the future I will use the paid version of your language course.

I'm from Egypt when u say (Jsem z Egypta)..... my quiestion why the "a" at the end of Egypt. t is a constinant....?
Hi there! It depends on the grammatical case. Egypt is nominative. V Egyptě is locative. In czech language there are 7 cases we shall study.
But this is an info that is not too good to study at this level. I would suggest to learn as I sad a template and remember it how it is, it is your country and ou shall always add this ending in this fraze: V EGYPTĚ
Later on, and not too far from now, you will add on info about these cases and you will know how the system of the endings work, but for now - on the level A1, it is enough for the basic communication, to just remember your country like this.
