@Argisht Stepanyan Looking different than an average native doesn't mean you're not one. She might appear middle eastern-ish, but if she was born in Czech Republic or she's been living there for a big part of her life then she's Czech.
I was dreaming of this but it has happened that what we wanted after a long time . Thank you soooooo much we hope we are going to learn a lot and gain more materials. Ahoj.
Yes! The intro music actually freaked me out, because after a soft and soothing sound, suddenly a rock music. I did not care about the intro in other languages, it blended in.
It reminds me of starting learning Czech 6 years ago and here I am speaking Czech fluently, it was a beautiful journey! Zvládneš všechno, jestli jenom chceš! Fingers crossed everyone!
I enjoy the sound of Czech, sounds like a beautiful language. Good that we're getting a chance to learn about the Czech Republic and its language too now :) I've been there once and the nature there looked stunning to me, I did not pay attention to if people truly wear socks with sandals so often, but if I'll ever visit again I'l try to remember to check that out haha. The area you're filming at looks great too by the way. Keep it up with Easy Czech
Congratulations with the first video, girls! 🥳 👏 such nice people and beautiful views of Prague 🥰 a typical Czech is the one walking with a dog and has a superpower to do it unleashed 🐕🌳
Two surprises in one week, Easy Czech and Easy Bulgarian, i planned to learn czech for so many years but never found much sources, hope they continue this project
I can help you with sources. For free. I always wanted to teach czech to english speakers. I am a professional teacher of czech as a foreign language. But in my practise i only had opportinity to teach russian speakers.
I've just recently added Czech to the languages I learn on Duolingo and all of a sudden I see this video here! What a nice surprise! Or perhaps I should rather say: "What a curious synchronicity of the Universe" ;) I love Easy Languages channel, it's really fun, entertaining and inspiring to learn languages like that - to hear them being spoken by all sorts of random native people on the street, with all their different attitudes, accents, voices and patterns of speech :) The videos are neither too long nor too short and the subtitles are super helpful to learn some new vocabulary and some colloqial or idiomatic expressions which we would never encounter in any official language course or grammar books. It's like traveling to a different country for a short educative visit, without leaving the comfort of our own homes! I improve my Spanish here from time to time and I wish there was more "Easy Languages" content for all the other "smaller" languages I'm learning (for example Welsh had a couple of videos here before, but I really hope for more! And where is Irish? Or Scottish Gaelic? Or Finnish? And so many others?) I would love to see them represented here too, someday). Anyway, I'm very pleased that Czech language has joined the channel and I wish best of luck to the new Czech team - may you have many active, passionate and dedicated learners! Greetings from Poland! :)
Finally Easy Czech! I am learning the language on and off the last months and this series will help me a lot! The Czech Republic is one of my favourite countries, so I really don't get the negative view that Czech people have about their country. I think it is a great country. My experience there was really positive. And I like the language and it's rythm as well... It sounds somehow calm... I hope this makes some sense.
Can I ask you, as a Czech (at least, due to my citizenship and partially by my blood/origin), why Czechia is your favourite country? What is so interesting about it from your point of view? 😉
Sám se učím česky a bylo pro mě velmi zajímavé sledovat toto video, nejvíce se mi líbilo, jak všichni mluvili o ponožkách, sandálech a pivu 😂 Jsem z Kazachstánu!👋🏻🇰🇿
Ahoj. Great to see Easy Language family expanding to Cesko. As a Pole it'd be very interesting to practise some listening and improve my understanding of another western slavic language.
What a beautiful, if at least seemingly complicated, language. I got interested in Czech when I read _The Unbearable Lightness of Being_ and it became my favorite book of all time. I've never read a book and had it change how I think in any significant way, but TULOB did that for me. I speak English natively, enough Spanish to get by in school and Dutch to a decent extent, but I've never tried a Slavic language properly. I might give it a stab now that Easy Czech has started.
I never knew about the socks and sandals thing. It seems most Czechs are quite critical of themselves. As a foreigner living in the Czech Republic, I think most Czechs enjoy relaxing and having fun, they love the outdoors, and they have simple pleasures like good food and drink, good company, and spending time in the nature. Some are a little prickly on the outside, but most are friendly and kind people with a good sense of humour. I love the people and the culture here.
I have never heard the Czech language before until my trip to Czechia and I thought it sounded beautiful. And listening to the people talk in this video confirms my thoughts; it is, indeed, a beautiful language.
So glad video popped up in my feed. Reminiscing my visit to Prague in the summer of 2019. I fell in love with the city- so alive in architectural heritage and rich in culture. Now I’m re-inspired to actually learn the language because of this new Easy Czech series!!
I unfortunately knew nothing about Czech people before watching this video, but I love how beautiful they are and how positive they seem to be. A very nice language. Thank you for having started Easy Czech! P.S.: I would say that complaining and being judgy is typical for a lot of countries, but we tend to think that it only applies to our very own. I'm a proud Romanian and am happy to hear that there are also proud Czech people in this video and in general. Best of luck!
My Mum is czech, my grandparents are czech, my step siblings are czech and living in Germany with my German dad I am barely able to talk to them. I want to learn czech so desperately that I am soo excited that there might be a chance for "easy languages" to bring out "easy czech". Please keep it up, even if there are only a few who need or want it!
I remember times when there was solely Easy German and I just can't believe that my native language has finally bacome a part of Easy Languages family. Can't wait to answer one of your questions in the streets of Prague :D keep up the good work girls!
Děkujeme za tato opravdu užitečná videa.. Je možné přidat videa, která obsahují užitečné rozhovory pro nás u lékaře.. v bance.. v hotelu.. na vládních místech? Děkuji mnohokrát.
I feel so sorry for us, Czechs ⭐⚡ , how we feel about ourselves. To me, this stereotype exists only in our heads. Even though, of course, you will find a small amount of people matching the descriptions. From my experience when teaching Czech to foreigners - foreigners see us as kind, funny, helpful and easygoing people. They love our humour, our traditions, wine and beer,... But unfortunatelly, we still tend to underestimate ourselves. Kind regards from Brno! 😀 I am happy to see birth of Easy Czech that will help advanced students! 🥳 Eliška & slowczech team
Czech Republic is so beutiful. I was there in Prague and Ceskie Budejovice and Český Krumlov. People are very friendly und helpful. I was amazed that in Czech Republic are so many castles and the beer ist really good😉 greetings form Poland🇵🇱❤🇨🇿
Awesome video, girls! 😎 It's really nice that Easy Languages keeps the language roster growing. Just a little advice: try to hold the mic a little closer to your interviewees; it was a bit hard to hear some of them properly. Looking forward to the next ones!
Super, držím vám pěsti a hodně štěstí.. Věřím, že cizinci, kteří navštěvují Prahu budou umět aspoň pár českých slov, např Dobrý den, děkuji a na shledanou.. Já sám pravidelně sleduji Easy German a občas Easy Poland a Italy.. :-)
It's more typical for older people and peolpe from smaller cities. In Prague, there are no many peole with this fashion, it was very popular in the past (in 90s or maybe even in communism), but not it's very changing, I think today young people are much better clothed.
I visited Prague once in my life and ever since I have NEVER forgotten that experience. It was the most beautiful and amazing country I had ever visited. So, I'd like to possibly live there in the future! As a Russian person, I thought that it would be easy for me to learn Czech, but despite the similarities in roots of the language, it is still VERY different to Russian and I think it will be challenging to learn. But if i really do try to learn it, my thanks go to this video.
Im thinking about learning Czech since years already, but never followed through with it. Since my grandpa was Czech and when I went to Prague I loved it 😍
I did a study abroad in Uhersky Brod when I was 16, almost ten years ago, and when I lived in the Czech Republic I was almost fluent in Czech. The language is so pretty to hear and so difficult to learn. I’d love to go back and test my Czech again, I’m sure it’d be mlady haha!
Vaše video se mi líbilo. Ukázala jsem to manželovi a počítali jsme, jak je český. V sandálech a ponožkách neuspěl, ale není pesimista, není melancholický a na všechno si nestěžuje!
Interesting video. I love Czech people. I think they are friendly and funny, also Prague is a nice place, when I was there I had a good time. And Czech language is really nice.

Hi there! I am so glad to see that Slavic languages are expanding :). I am wondering whether you plan to launch easy Slovak. It would be great ☺️.
I was dreaming of this but it has happened that what we wanted after a long time .
Thank you soooooo much we hope we are going to learn a lot and gain more materials.

with all due respect to this channel.... Please tell me why we should learn Czech if you don't like foreigners?
Finally, Easy Czech!! I'm so looking forward to this series. Love from Japan
Love Japan from Czechia
I don't know why but to me the sound of Czech is soothing, I would listen to it as a meditation. Please more episodes, girls!
Yes! The intro music actually freaked me out, because after a soft and soothing sound, suddenly a rock music. I did not care about the intro in other languages, it blended in.
Listen as a meditation? No offense but you must be flat out of your mind! That language is a nightmare 😂😂😂
Yeah, sounds really cute like baby talk. But some people think it sounds harsh
