Something tells me you were born with a self awareness and a family who appreciated, respected, and encouraged who you are. It is so nice to watch and see positive humans making this life and world a good place to be. Thank you for restoring my hopes and beliefs.
Wow!! Stunning! Your perfectionism shines in this bathroom! I love watching women DIYers who do construction work like this who really pay attention to the little details. Great job 👏🏼
These time-lapses makes it look so easy and effortless when in fact it took sooo much to complete and probably even more to conceptualize and plan. Absolutely amazing job as usual Melissa 👍👷♀️™️
Brilliant! Absolutely fabulous. I had never heard of the water proof “paint” you applied around the bath tub area. Most impressive-the window installation and how you matched the outside. Magnificent
Your attention to details and passion producing a high quality result is inspiring! I love how honest you were with how long this transformation took you. Often times I see other videos of bathroom guts only taking a weekend but the steps they skip are often vital to ensuring no leaks happen and/or will quickly deteriorate with use. Your bathroom will look amazing for years to come and will be in excellent condition even if you choose to change anything in the future. Bravo!
I think you are just awesome. I know a lot of people who don't take on stuff like this and it basically comes down to a little confidence. Its not rocket science. I really appreciate how you just start tearing into things.
I came here just to see a before and after remodel for ideas and I stayed for the whole video because of all the work being shown, impressive !! Just got another subscriber.
Looks beautiful! Well done. If you could do a 6-12 month update on this, that would be so amazing :) I would love to know if your DIY technique has kept it waterproof and if there is anything you'd do differently after using the space. Thanks for sharing!
Very cool upgrade. I really like the design elements, even the small ones like using pegs instead of a towel bar. This is the size of the master bath in my 40 year old home and it's definitely given me inspiration.
I love this! I'm not too keen on floating shelves, so I didn't comment on the kitchen remodel, but this I absolutely love. I also love the tie-ins you have throughout the three rooms (living room, kitchen, bathroom. haven't watched the bedroom yet.) The color you used in the bathroom is so warm and inviting. Definitely a winner!
It's really a beautiful job. I watched all your videos while you were renovating the space, but forgot just how labor intensive the entire process was. Kudos!
I *love* that more and more women are getting confident to take on things themselves. You did a remarkable job and although I don’t know you, I’m *very* proud of you! It looks stunning and I love the colours. Altogether now….. sisters are doing it for themselves. Standing on their own two feet…. 🎶 🎤 🎵 ❤❤❤❤❤
Everything is wonderful! Bravo! It is a great pleasure for me to watch the videos of a wonderful and gentle girl like you, who creates such beautiful things with her hands and intellect! Thank you! Keep going!
WOW.. thats beautiful. I wish I was this brave. 1 thing that stood out to me, if you want, maybe make the door handle match the brass colour of the other finishes. Still a beautiful reno. you make it look so easy
I usually don't like vertical tiles in the shower but for some reason this one looks really good. Maybe because they're offset? Not sure but it just works so well. Nice job customizing that vanity too.
I agree with nerdcave. Looks great! What did you use to hide the raw cuts on the vertical edges of the tub? Schluter ridging? The shower curtain hides one side, but I can’t tell how you covered the edge. Caulk? Beadboard?
@@cindicarter483 it's covered by beadboard on the bottom half of the wall and the top half I did run a bead of caulk. It's surprisingly not noticeable at all!
My favorite thing was the legs on the vanity - really made the whole thing, imho. Just a note of caution: watch that bead of clear caulk between the front of the tub and floor. I think that thin layer could possibly not be enough. GREAT idea about the shims in the bottom of the new windowsill in the shower. I bought a house that had a window in the shower once and the water sat in the sill. We ended up having to take the whole window out and redoing the sill and then reinserting the window - not fun, lol.
Sra.
Always enjoyed your channel and the projects. The barefoot walking reminded me of your older videos when you’d work barefoot all the time…I miss that, but you still do awesome work! Take care
Started watching and hit pause to subscribe! Girl- you have a gift! I don’t try to take on any major DIYs because I’m very very fussy. You proved that it’s not bad being particular. End result is awesome!
Wow, it looks great and you are amazing. The vanity came out great and the job you did on the window is truly inspiring. Can I also add that I appreciate your narrative. You do not have that news anchor cadence that you tubers think they need to use. I can’t wait to watch your other videos.
beautifully said, anything and everything requirs courage to just take a steo forward, than confidence.... confidence helps but we dont need to beat oursleves for not having it in the first time or first attempt. so good to hear that reminder, than it takes courage not knowing everything out loud in first place.... and its about exploring rather than getting to know it all, if we knew it all it wouldnt be the first time lol. (putting dots together for my something i am doing not realestate project but something i want to do)
You did an fantastic job. I was very intrigued by the self adhesive tile strips, i never heard or seen that. A must try, thanks. Looking forward to your next videos
You go girl. It can feel overwhelming and stressful doing things on your own. Sometimes life happens in between all the rehab making it even more stressful. Hope you take some time to R and R in between. I know how remodels can go. Great video.
Holy cow that is a lot! I’m so impressed that you have such abilities to do that! I love you tube. It has saved us so much money but I can’t imagine doing the work you did. So impressed.
That is beautiful. While the colors are different, the layout is exactly the same as my bathroom, and it's the exact same size! I might just copy this if you don't mind.
You and your husband remind me of my sister and her husband they got a hundred and fifteen year old house they fix that thing up I love it and you did a wonderful job and that house❤
First time everything?? I would never be brave enough to tackle all of these complex projects. Ever see those shows where people start something but can't complete it? How did you do it? I'm stunned
It looks very good. I love the bead board, I plan on doing that in my bath also, love the look. I also like the in-wall niche and plate rail, looks good and practical. Nicely done!

Girl you killed it. The work was to the nines. I enjoyed watching your entire process.

Thank you!
I like the fact that you took the time to replace the rotten material with something more durable. It's Beautiful and well done. Supper ✅🌼
Brilliant! Absolutely fabulous. I had never heard of the water proof “paint” you applied around the bath tub area.
Most impressive-the window installation and how you matched the outside. Magnificent
Blown away, it's an amazing bathroom remodel. Beyond your building skills is your eye for design and detail. DIY Princess.
You are blessed with talent, resizing a window!! wow that cost an arm and leg by professionals.
(clutching my pearls) Lady!! You DID that...Omg - - you are super talented and your DIY skills are next level. Just wow!
I am honestly in awe. You make this look so easy, you are so talented and gifted! This looks incredible.
The built-in wall nook is my fave!!
My favorite was that window installation.

I am slightly in awe of how good this is.
Your bathroom is gorgeous! Love the mix of old and new. It will stand the test of time because it isnt trendy.
That vanity is incredible… you have such good eyes!
the first 10 seconds of the video, i thought u were crazy for changing it but the next few seconds changed my mind lol
Loved the green cupboards .as well as the complete revamp, well done !!!
*CONGRATULATIONS* you hope you're very proud! This is really amazing.
Everyone *can* if she/ he wants to, even when it looks easier as it is.

I love watching your house come together, and this is inspiring me to consider taking on new projects in my future home!
It looks great! The vanity with the new legs is such a treasure. I also LOVE the shower tile.

That is badass energy for real
Everything is wonderful! Bravo! It is a great pleasure for me to watch the videos of a wonderful and gentle girl like you, who creates such beautiful things with her hands and intellect! Thank you! Keep going!
I loved the new walls and the ledge on them.
You nail it girlie!!! Wow! Yes it takes courage more than anything! You got this! 👏
It really helped me to know how deal with a renewing in a place with high humidity
Awesome content. Best change to me was the shelf above the sink for the mirros etc.
WOW.. thats beautiful. I wish I was this brave.
1 thing that stood out to me, if you want, maybe make the door handle match the brass colour of the other finishes. Still a beautiful reno. you make it look so easy
The bathroom professionals (several) I sooe with told us that around the shower they don’t install the drywall, but a cement board, due to moisture.
You're very talented, both in your craftsmanship and artistry. What a pro job and superb transformation.
I'm as impressed AF! Very inspiring to see your skills develop and perfect!
Wonderful job! I thank you so much for your candor about drywalling and DIY in general. 'Courage not confidence'. Thanks for this reassuring video.
I love the “new” vanity!
Amazing that you did it all on your own! Wow. Love it.
I usually don't like vertical tiles in the shower but for some reason this one looks really good. Maybe because they're offset? Not sure but it just works so well. Nice job customizing that vanity too.
thank you! I thought the tile placement was unique and I like how it turned out, too.

Wow! You are soooo talented! It's absolutely gorgeous.
This is amazing, you are a superwoman.
Great job and very inspiring for the DIY females. The detail and added touches were wonderful.
I love it. I am just short on design ability. Choosing what to do takes me forever. I look at Pinterest for too long and never create a mood board.
Everything, I wish I could do things like this
First time everything?? I would never be brave enough to tackle all of these complex projects. Ever see those shows where people start something but can't complete it? How did you do it? I'm stunned
It looks very good. I love the bead board, I plan on doing that in my bath also, love the look. I also like the in-wall niche and plate rail, looks good and practical.
Nicely done!
I am in awe
