This is better than any show on HGTV. You are a natural on camera, and the comedic touches are genius. Great editing, sound, and production. And I love that you take us on the WHOLE journey. Bravo.
I agree completely! This was the first video of hers that Ive seen and I enjoyed it so much! I was cracking up throughout the whole video, the subtle humor is GREAT! And now I have confidence that I can do more than I think I can.
Came here to say exactly this, but you said it better lol so I'll just agree with you!!! She's amazing and so relatable. I wish I knew how to use power tools like that
FINALLY!! A UA-camr who truthfully shows the unexpected challenges that happen with Diy projects. I applaud your design sense, your humor, and your mad skills with power tools! You just convinced me that I need to add a wood planer to my tool collection 😊. Girrrrrl, when that glass broke, so did my heart. But your "Can Do" attitude is addicting. Keep making inspirational content like this! I'm smashing the like button AND subscribing.
I love what your doing with your bathroom. My only critique is that you really should be wearing a mask. All the dust and fiber is no good for your lungs! Peace!
I love how real you are in this makeover, you even took a moment when needed. Thank you. I needed to see that I am not the only one that has setbacks when remodeling.
I watched each of the budget bath makeovers, as they were originally posted. It was a great series, thoroughly enjoyed it. It turned out very well despite the few unforseen issues.
Great job. The next time you use an old frame, use a pair of small pliers to bend back the picture tacks. Some also slide out easily and will push back in. That way it's not so difficult to switch out the glass, the trim and the picture. I'm really impressed. Good job on the sewing, too.
Glad I bumped into your channel. I identified with you so quickly because that is how my house projects go. Lots of frustrating moments, but such pride at the end when I can say “I did this!”. You ladies are funny and not afraid to show the good, the bad and the ugly sides of DIY. Love the end result! I immediately subscribed to your channel. Keep them coming!
Wow. I thought it was just me that seems to have all the problems especially at remodeling. I lost my touch nd confidence. I just can't come up with good ideas
Wow, I love your channel! Ran across it just by browsing. You make DIY real for me because that’s how all my projects go. I always think it’s just me but watching you I realize that maybe I should just look at it as gaining experience. Don’t think I could ever turn out a job as you do. But at least now I have the courage to continue trying . loved the upgraded bathroom.❤ thank you for being so real.
I came along to this video. thought I would skip fast to another. I'm now 45mins in and I love the way you and the other woman are on the camera! It's natural and calm. I love it. Keep it going
What a beautiful job you did! That was a long video but I really enjoyed watching you tackle things you hadn't done before, learning and even making a couple mistakes along the way. I felt your pain at times, but even though I don't know you, after seeing you work so hard and encounter real-life struggles and stressful moments instead of a video where everything goes absolutely perfect, I am so proud of you and your accomplishment - you should be VERY proud of yourself!
I learned to not use quick dry mud as a newbie. It’s easier to work with the regular stuff including easier to sand. Then put your first coat on and don’t worry about it being even close to perfect, just no voids. Sand, repeat! Multi days and coats- that’s normal! I get why people do textured walls lol! The baseboard tip- so true especially in the bathroom 😄 love watching your videos!
I just love your Dad, lol. You are such a good wood worker. You are also very creative, well done. Your Bathroom is elegant and not gaudy. You are multi-talented too.
Good on you for tackling this! I have a tip for the sander...I used one once in our bedroom. I connected a vacuum hose (had to use some duct tape) where that little dust collection bag is on the sander. I ran the vacuum while sanding and it collected *most* of the dust. 😉
I absolutely love the two of yours videos. I enjoy watching as your design turnouts are amazing plus the humor you both have just adds as a bonus. I sit here and watch and laugh …. thank you both!
I didn't get confident to do remodel projects until later in life and I'm quite competent. Bravo to you for having skills and confidence to tackle such big jobs and not shying away. The bathroom looks awesome. You got skills and vision!
The most satisfying part of the video is actually you cleaning up the wood glue at 35:45, loved the whole process, I love how you make everything that goes wrong into this like humorous but also 'make the best of the situation' kind of thing. Very cool video c:
This was the first video of yours that I’ve seen, and I must say, I was highly impressed by this beautifully and perfectly finished bathroom makeover. You have a great aesthetic sense, and super talented woodworking skills. I can see you’re totally a perfectionist and I love it! I’ll be watching more of your videos. New subscriber here! ❤
The wooden counter came out sooo good! But before she took the old one out I was screaming at the TV “JUST PAINT IT!” and then when she didn’t like the wood grain, I was like “JUST PAINT ITTTTT!” With that liquid wood paint (I think it’s called retique it?) And then gone over it with a graining tool. BUT again, it ended up looking fabulous and I’m only halfway through the video so I’m really excited to see the rest!
Tiff - I have to say, I so appreciate the realness with which you share your process of DIYing - it's truly how I know it would go for me - well, who am I kidding, it would probably be much worse & I would give up b4 ever completing a single project! - but I feel your videos allow those who want to attempt to DIY, a sense of what they can expect during the learning process! And you show what happens when you don't give up...Which is honestly the best part, because you wind up fulfilling your dream creations! So, thank you for your honesty & all of your hard work! The bathroom is beautiful!! Oh & edited to add - I don't know how you find the patience!
Couple months ago my plant hobby made me get a saw (for a dragonfruit trellis) and now since I have a saw, I borrowed the neighbor's nail gun & redid the baseboard's in my mom's office. It was the first little home project I did, and now i'm binging diy videos. Just had to comment and say that I watched this whole video while at work & am amazed at your handiness & the quality of this video. You're an inspiration!! And it's so cool to see a fellow cosplayer using your skills for home improvement. Absolutely badass!!
I really loved it and love watching your journey! But for me, I would do a Black mirror black faucet and black hardware I think it would look really nice!
Just came across this video and immediately subscribed to your page! Also, a huge thank you for editing your videos, so that we don't hear your tools running the entire time!!! Or when we can, it's at least mixed with music and or you talking. Makes it much easier to watch and listen to!! Oh and great work, it looks amazing!!!
Should seal the exposed paper of the drywall. It can bubble and cause more problems in the long run. When you glue wood joints the end Grains need to flip flop from board to board or they'll warp over time. When looking at the end grain they should go happy face - sad face - happy face - sad face. You're a natural behind the camera. Very enjoyable to watch, good humor for the pain endured in diy, and I appreciate the mistakes not being cut out. You're great!
It looks so cozy, the finishing touches are very tasteful, you did a great job! 💛 Hanging the shower curtain higher also forces the humidity to go out of the window when opened, instead of escape on the other side of the bathroom after a shower.
This might be weird but when I saw u I started crying u look exactly like my aunt who unfortunately passed away a 2 years ago u remind me sm of her she used to love renovating and doing these types of projects she loved everything diy or creative if she was still here y’all would’ve been great friends anyway you’ll definitely be one of my fav UA-camrs from now on ilysmm
I’ve been binge watching your videos. I so get your humor. You have given me lots of laughs the picture staring at you on the toilet was so funny. KEEP BEING YOU! You have great videos thanks for sharing.
My bathroom has the same exact layout, wall strips and all. I don't have all the wood powertools, but I'm SO inspired to take on remodeling my bathroom by myself now. Thank you for this amazing video! Your bathroom looks beautiful!
Hi, I’m glad your video popped up. I enjoyed your journey. The new sink looks nice and the light fixture looks great. I’m waiting for your next video. In the meantime, I will look at your prior videos.
I really enjoyed your video and your honest comments. It is gorgeous looking bathroom but more than that your personality is very cute and it made me to keep watching the video. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!! Well done 🎉
OMG!!! My new favorite channel. I just subscribed. I am also a DIY'er, furniture refinisher. I am a bit older, though, 61 years old. Lol. I have many plans for this coming spring, so I'm gonna binge watch your channel for ideas. You are so talented!!!!
Bravo, my new friend! Very well done! I am considerably older (chronologically) than you & have been a DIY'er for decades. I felt your pain & your joy as you progressed through the ups & downs of your stunning bathroom makeover. My husband thought I was losing my mind as I was shouting at you - "no, no! Don't do that!!" I just found your channel and I love it. I love that you don’t do a complete gut because a lot of times it’s so wasteful to do that. I think your bathroom looks amazing and you did everything that needed to be done, nothing more and nothing less😍
By the way, the yellow that you discovered from sanding was the actually color of the wood from your sink. You likely sanded off a tint that made the wood darker, and after sanding you took off the layer. Its the same color as the wood planks you can find at home depot.
Loved these video's, keeping it real and showing us the mishaps and rectifying your problems. Just a tip : get an airtight jar, save the Shavings/Wood Dust so you can use them in a some filler for sealing holes in your wood projects, just sand smooth. Dont over do the wood glue. Loved your tenacity and discipline in not giving up. Also loved your creativity. I think brass or gold fixtures would you have the bathroom even more cohesive.

Very pretty! That's a lot of hard work and it looks elegant. Toni's a good helper. For safety, please consider sanding and rounding the eight exposed corners of the two wood shelves over the toilet. If anyone bangs their head, they won't get cut. Also, if the exposed corner of sink counter is sharp (I couldn't tell with edited clips), please consider sanding and rounding so no one hurts their hip. Great job!
Really enjoyed your remake. And you have a great, down-to-earth personality! Also, love how you get the ‘essentials’ when you go to the hardware store!😍🇨🇦
This is the first video I've watched of yours. Im in awe with your many talents. Really, great job. Great video editing, too. The bathroom is beautiful.
You did a great job! I thought at first that the top shelf was going to be too high, but it's perfect with the tall shower curtain. As for budget, you basically got a new and stylish bathroom for way under 1k!!
Rrrrr, I’m so jealous because you’re so talented as a ?Handywoman? ! (Not sure what the proper title for you is!) Unfortunately/fortunately I’m 74 1/2 and you inspire me to design; it will just be a little more difficult for me 🙄 You did a great job ❤️
I love how you throw in the chocolate bars with your hardware purchases - hey, a girl needs to keep her strength up! Love how you keep it real - mistakes and all! Beautiful transformation by the way, well done!
I love how much attention to detail you give your work. One thing I think would look good is (now I’m saying this not having watch the whole video) but maybe a brushed brass faucet would look really good in place of the black.
You did such a good job! The bathroom looks very nice. Thank you for sharing your mishaps and 'mistakes'. I learned a lot from your learning and problem solving ideas! The idea of two trims to overlap the mirror glass is genious! I will surely remember that one for my mirror project! ❤
Wow, you did a great job. I love how you hung in there and didn't give up, even though you had some fails. You have really inspired me to keep going through my many fails. 😊
You make a diy video really enjoyable to watch. You’re so funny! Love your finish work as well. I found your channel in my feed. The one where you turned a free pallet into a desk. And I was hooked. Thank you for your wonderful personality filled videos. ❤
This is better than any show on HGTV. You are a natural on camera, and the comedic touches are genius. Great editing, sound, and production. And I love that you take us on the WHOLE journey. Bravo.
I was going to say the same thing.. Especially the special effects for time lapse editing.
I agree completely! This was the first video of hers that Ive seen and I enjoyed it so much! I was cracking up throughout the whole video, the subtle humor is GREAT! And now I have confidence that I can do more than I think I can.

You could use the sink cut out as part of your cutting board project :)
was thinking the same thing or use it for anything else
My thoughts exactly
Easy tip for filling in chips/gaps in the wood is to add the sawdust and mix it with wood glue then sand it down. Then watch your chip disappear.
I watched each of the budget bath makeovers, as they were originally posted. It was a great series, thoroughly enjoyed it. It turned out very well despite the few unforseen issues.
Thank you ☺️
happy 😊
Great job. The next time you use an old frame, use a pair of small pliers to bend back the picture tacks. Some also slide out easily and will push back in. That way it's not so difficult to switch out the glass, the trim and the picture.
I'm really impressed. Good job on the sewing, too.
Thank you ❤️
@@diytiff also, with it being in a bathroom, you'll want to get a real backing so the steam and water from the shower won't ruin the picture and mat
Glad I bumped into your channel. I identified with you so quickly because that is how my house projects go. Lots of frustrating moments, but such pride at the end when I can say “I did this!”. Thanks!! And yeah it always took me days to do drywall but I was getting impatient 😆
I love everything about this!!! Presentation, work, design, editing, music ❤
Aaaww Thank you ☺️❤️
The nob on the cabinet needs to be black. You did a great job! You are so talented! Loved watching you
Girl!! You did a great job. My first time watching your video. Love’d it!! ❤
Thank you ☺️
I am so lucky to watch 1 hour and 51 minutes of this make over, you must be very proud :) excellent job 10/10
Lovely work, don’t forget the liner behind the shower curtain to protect the cloth. It’s beautiful 👍😁
You did a phenomenal job, Tiff. I am glad that I subscribed to your channel.
Thank you ☺️
I just love your Dad, lol. You are such a good wood worker. You are also very creative, well done. Your Bathroom is elegant and not gaudy. You are multi-talented too.
It's beautiful. The new counter top and sink may have put you over budget, but it was definitely worth it. You're so clever.

Unexpected colors used. I am a fan of whimsy and pastels. I really love the yellow arm chairs . Bravo. Another wonderful restoration.
yes the frame looks much better. I like that you show the mistakes that you made. I like it.
I am dying at the power tool descriptions!!! I make that same noise for the compressor ❤.
😂
I’ve been binge watching your videos. I so get your humor. You have given me lots of laughs the picture staring at you on the toilet was so funny. KEEP BEING YOU! You have great videos thanks for sharing.
I just found your channel and have been binge watching! I do a lot of diy as well, I love that you show you are human and make mistakes! ❤
I love the wall color! Beautiful and clean!!!❤
Thank you!! 😊
I love this because this is what actually happens while you’re renovating a space 😂 ❤
Your bathroom turned out beautifully! You are adding Value to your home
You're an amazing woman. 👏 you are very talented. Many blessings to you.
My bathroom has the same exact layout, wall strips and all. I don't have all the wood powertools, but I'm SO inspired to take on remodeling my bathroom by myself now. Thank you for this amazing video! Your bathroom looks beautiful!

You are a very genuine and likable DIYer!! I was 2 minutes into the video and clicked like and followed!
You did yourself proud. It's beautiful.
I’m hooked on your diy/makeover videos! Excellent work!
Well, when the mud fell on floor I subscribed!!! Love this!!!!
😅 thanks
Bravo, my new friend! Very well done! I am considerably older (chronologically) than you & have been a DIY'er for decades. I felt your pain & your joy as you progressed through the ups & downs of your stunning bathroom makeover.
My husband thought I was losing my mind as I was shouting at you - "no, no! Don't do that!!" But once her learned about your project, he completely understood. Yes, I have made the same mistakes and many that you probably will never make. It is a love/hate relationship with the many projects that have been done - and those yet to be accomplished.
I truly loved the journey through your project. It was so stressful at time and so much more thrilling in the end. I found myself holding my breath as you did that one last thing to finish each task.
You are a delightful woman and your video is the raw truth. Your taste in design & decor is top notch & timeless. You have an eye for detail & an imagination to pull it off.
I look forward to learning from you!
This is epic. You are fantastic talented young lady and it looks great. Gold was very popular in 70s and 80s.
GREAT JOB!!!
It looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL 💕
I just found your channel and I love it. I love that you don’t do a complete gut because a lot of times it’s so wasteful to do that. I think your bathroom looks amazing and you did everything that needed to be done, nothing more and nothing less😍
I really love the Curtain around the windshield area, very nice van all together.
Lots of work. Loved the picture comedy. Love your woodwork!
Thank you ☺️
By the way, the yellow that you discovered from sanding was the actually color of the wood from your sink. You likely sanded off a tint that made the wood darker, and after sanding you took off the layer. Its the same color as the wood planks you can find at home depot.
Wow, it looks beautiful!! Great job.
Thanks 😊
Loved these video's, keeping it real and showing us the mishaps and rectifying your problems.
Just a tip : get an airtight jar, save the Shavings/Wood Dust so you can use them in a some filler for sealing holes in your wood projects, just sand smooth.
Dont over do the wood glue.
Cheryl from UK. Xxxxx
Love that you show it isn't as easy as it looks!😊
Loved your tenacity and discipline in not giving up. Also loved your creativity.
I think brass or gold fixtures would you have the bathroom even more cohesive.
I just found you through a recommendation by Midwest Magic Cleaning and I'm so glad I did! I'm a little old lady who has always done DIY projects and I love your Can Do attitude. I love your spirit and willingness to show us what went wrong and how you fixed it. Keep up the good work and I'll be working my way through all your previous videos.
You are REAL and a delight. You had me laughing because i am the same way. Thanks for showing us how it is REALLY done by a DYIER!
The paint your using works great on glossy surfaces with only minimal sanding. I did a whole kitchen using that paint and it cures hard and beautiful!
This is the first video I've watched of yours. Im in awe with your many talents. Really, great job. Great video editing, too. The bathroom is beautiful.
You are a true artist. You know exactly how it should look
Just found your channel and girl am I impressed.
You did a great job! I thought at first that the top shelf was going to be too high, but it's perfect with the tall shower curtain. As for budget, you basically got a new and stylish bathroom for way under 1k!!
I just gotta say, what an inspiring, creative and bad ass you are!
❤I am loving your videos!! Your family is awesome for the support they give you. I can't wait until you build your workshop!!!
The zoom on the pictures face. 😂
I love how you throw in the chocolate bars with your hardware purchases - hey, a girl needs to keep her strength up! Love how you keep it real - mistakes and all! Beautiful transformation by the way, well done!
Thanks so much! 😊
Just clicked on the vid randomly and i’m in love with it , liked and subscribed
I love how much attention to detail you give your work. One thing I think would look good is (now I’m saying this not having watch the whole video) but maybe a brushed brass faucet would look really good in place of the black.
It would have, I just like the mixed metals look :)
You did such a good job! The bathroom looks very nice. Thank you for sharing your mishaps and 'mistakes'. I learned a lot from your learning and problem solving ideas! The idea of two trims to overlap the mirror glass is genious! I will surely remember that one for my mirror project! ❤
You did such an amazing job!!! I loved this video!!! Girls rule!!❤
Hello as a woman 👩 myself you are doing a great job am loving your videos am watching from Dominica 🇩🇲
Kelly the room looks beautiful the chairs look great thankyou for sharing 😊
It turned out beautiful!! You did a fantastic job!!
Wow, you did a great job. I love how you hung in there and didn't give up, even though you had some fails. You have really inspired me to keep going through my many fails. 😊
Lmao. I love your dad's humor. I can see where you get yours! You did a phenomenal job and I can't wait to see more videos!
Real life skills, nothing hidden here. 👍⭐️
You make a diy video really enjoyable to watch. You’re so funny! Love your finish work as well. I found your channel in my feed. The one where you turned a free pallet into a desk. And I was hooked. Thank you for your wonderful personality filled videos. ❤
