My recommendation is cover where the antenna goes to with electrical tape rapped around the connector and then around the metal cover that screws into it 😊😊

Hi Matt, GB3AM is very scratchy for me, I’m not much above river level. 10 minutes up the road to higher ground I can. I can get GB3FX without too much bother. 73!

Get a white permanent marker and mark the elements of the lighting tripod. Don't worry about pulling them out too far again.

I’m sorry. I’m not familiar with that antenna. However any elevated external antenna will far outperform the whip on the R20
