No ZTZ Player ever would use the reverse to maneuver. You would just have to Press w for a second and Press D. But other wise a very entertaining Video
In game be like:
ZTZ: deploy smoke
Abrams: fire machine gun
Ingame more like Abrams gets the first shot off and ammoracks the ZTZ.

I think this is gonna be a great show, since it shows tanks features and how they could be used to your advantage, like ZTZ99 rwr or abrams blowout pannels

Why not the ztz99A that can actually reverse. Why use an 11.0 against a 10.7
This wasn't a fair matchup to begin with. You used the 11.0 Abrams for America but put it against the Chinese 10.7 ZTZ99-III. It should have been the 11.0 ZTZ99A which has even more features and way better speed/acceleration. Let alone it has 34km/h reverse speed so the scenario on round 3 wouldn't have even existed (let's not forget round 3 the ZTZ didnt pop smoke or use machineguns to injure tread). The ZTZ99-III Also did not turn his ERA into the abrams and proceeded to sit there and let his side be exposed when ZTZs have some of the fastest turning in the game for top tier MBTs. Or the ZTZ with crappy backing speed simply should have rammed forward into the Abrams to force a shot into the turret or upper front plate covered in ERA in which it could have easily Re-adjusted and not exposed its side to. this was clearly a very biased matchup that does nothing but embarrass the capabilities of our American tanks by pretending the enemy is an idiot and also comparing it to the wrong tank.
I agree that using a 10.7 vs an 11.0 is kind of stupid but the ztz99a does not have a massive margin of performance boost besides max speed and slight acceleration at least. Though yes, it is true that the round 3 reverse speed scenario would never have happened, they probably still would have just had the abrams shoot the lower plate which has no era.
its called bias, when there's an equal choice, but instead they choose to show how it went to fight the inferior one with the newer one, now the danger of this mind set up is people think in real war its gonna be so easy like that, but remember, Afganistan fight to survive and america military with more advanced weapon, they still can't win entirely, this scenario would be expect to be happened with china when they have more advance than afgan and in history its already been proved, chinese even with lower or out dated weapon still can win the war against america who backup taiwan
literally one of the big advantages of the Ztz-99 is the amazing thermals and CITV. It should have won the first match. Also why the 99 III? it's 10.7 while the Abrams is 11.0, the ZTZ99A is more of a balanced fight

The ZTZ99 will hilariously win cause of the reactive armor in game, while the abrams lacks a lot of its defining features that makes it a dominant tank over others.
That would have been the case if it hadn't have been waiting in spawn to get shot at while Abram's traversed ¾ of Red Desert

Why the F 10.7 vs 11.0 maybe do BVM instead

ZTZ99-III only has better armor and thermals, there’s nothing else it has over the Abrams

That's second round was so bad, I can understand why the Chinese tank didnt fire because of the HE, but the Abrams had APFSDS loaded and could have shot multiple times before he had to see the entire tank

I think it was done for the dramatic purpose.
In my opinion, while the 2nd round was bad in your opinion, I could say the same for the 3rd round as well. The Chinese tank have that perfect side shot chance on the Abrams to outright cripple it but only hit that ammo rank in the end.
But nevertheless it was a nice show. No need to get too serious about it. Just like someone who have pointed out down below, in the 2nd round the Chinese tank could have MG the Abrams tracks to stop it, so yea. Either way works.

Great match! Also great new idea for few videos. Im playing sim air battles now. It's wondeful, but there is so much more, that could be done. Stuff like complex bases to bombard, or some targets to destroy in the city like Bin Laden Hideout or something. I like what you did with airfields, that there are many structures which are connected to eachother, and bombarding specific place on the airfield will result in something... This is what I like.

Fantastic editing and I love the commentary! Can’t wait for the next episode. I feel that the Breda 501 with higher mobility might have an edge, but unless it knows where to shoot the Flak 18, it may struggle.
Literally anywhere, HE shells are a thing too
@@christopherbrent5168 that is so what true. However, the flak 18 is pretty spread out in terms of its crew. It has a chance of surviving. Also, I haven’t played much low tier since the overpressure update, and I wouldn’t really know.
@@galacticthreat1236 I have, and I can tell you, an HE shell from almost any tank cannon will instakill it.
I've OHK'd it with a Crusader Mk. III, a Sherman, some Russian cannons, and various other cannon shells that have HE. Almost any HE Shell will destroy the things in one shot, especially as open as the Breda, Flak 88, or anything else that can't stop HE shells from penning.
Basically, if its open, use HE.
yep i like this series too, I think some day there should be a Leopard 2A6 vs T-80-BVM, now that would be an interesting matchup. Please keep these going

Why didn't you guys instead use the ztz 99a I believe that would have been much more fair and interesting to watch. Furthermore uhmmm let's just say the combat scenario which was presented was not smt average war thunder player would have done. But overall still not bad for the first episode of this new series, hope it will improve over time. I see lots of potential with this new series.
Chinese tanks are unproven in combat. Everything China has is literally green.

The 1:1 was absolutely unnecessary, because the abrams could have shot the ztz much earlier... it was like, oh china, come and shoot me, because I want to make the Chinese community happy

Wow what a genious video! I love it! I was cheering for the Abrams, but I wasn't sure about who would win because the ZTZ-99-III is a strong opponent. And the Breda501 vs Flak 37...I don't know, I love both of them and I can't predict how will it end since a battle situation is quite difficult since the resault is depending on the map, vehicles, crews and the most unpreductable one: on the commanders (players).

It is fair, both are second to last in their line (yes I'm considering the SEP) and were made about the same year

Ok i like the idea of the show and a co-host. I will definitely watch these shows but my critic is that this video is aimed more for a gamer audience. WT is a game but it’s playerbase is not made of gamers. We’re mostly history and military nerds. So i say ditch the over-hyped and over-energetic hosting going back to your usual triathlon style. Also i would appreciate more technical info. Congratulations on your new show though
Not too bad, on the second engagement it seems like the Abrams took too long to fire because there was more than enough time to get a round off but instead it died... Gotta let the ztz feel like it's winning? Lol
Q: can you animate crew in open top vehicles? For example the Spj fm/43-44 it would be cool seeing the loader loading a shell, also another example could be the m901, you could see the loader loading atgms in the gun
I love the animations for this new series and still can't get over the fact that one of the narrators is called Christi(e suspension)na Sherman. Very appropriate

Interesting idea but it don't make it look as scripted as this. Round 2 the Abrams pulled out all the way when he easily could have fired before for a kill. If he didn't get the kill, show it to make it interesting

Fax. I hate playing all the Abrams in WT just because it feels so outclassed. My M1A1 literally has a WR of 27%

In war thunder it isn't, but in real life is one of the most survivable tanks in the world, for the layout of the armor and fuel tanks, blow-out panels in turret and hull and many other things that in the game don't work.

I think that this show is not very accurate with comparing tanks. At the end it all depends on the player and his play style together with a bit of luck, so better watch youtubers like Oddbawz or Dollar when you wanna look at tanks… but the thundershow is very good with Looking at one tank at a time. Thanks for these great games Gaijin!

Honestly you guys should have started off with the nbfz versus the t35 that would have been a really interesting battle to see as in war thunder every time I fight the t35 it's a very even battle especially with the nbfz being used in early tier (under 3.0)
