Jeremy, I don't comment on youtube often. But you're special. I've been watching you since freshman year of high school. You got me through HS, college, a master's, a few heartbreaks, and a shit ton of trauma. You were also there for happy birthdays, happy time with friends, loneliness, depression, and recovery. I've been stable now with a great job and I just want to say thank you. For being a joy to watch through good and bad moments of my life. I appreciate you man, I wish I could give you a hug. I'm excited for another year of epic and crazy movies! Thank you for being genuine and truly AWESOMETACULAR.

Dude. Been watching since graduate school and I found your MGS3 review. Finished playing it and absolutely cannot believe I’ve been watching since then. Same story as everyone else, more or less. Still here with a wife, 3 kids, and a mortgage. And I watch the majority of your videos
It’s crazy how I’ve been watching Jeremy since 2012 and to this day he is still the best movie critic on UA-cam. It all started with binge watching his Batman reviews (which led to his other reviews lol) getting ready for TDKR. I can count on one hand the amount of times I disagreed with him on a movie. Jeremy is just one of those guys you could sit and have a beer with and have a great conversation about whatever. Thanks JJ for all you do for us and here’s to many more years of great content from you!
Sir I subscribed to you on May 30th, 2013, when I was 25 years old. Loved your content ever since. A friend of mine with whom I discuss movies has also been watching you for ages and we've been discussing your reviews a lot. At one point he decided to stop watching your channel as a protest for you giving Interstellar a 'good time no alco required' rating (he worships that movie), but after some time he came to his senses and resubscribed. Here's to 11 more years of this, cheers from Poland.
Been watching you since I guess around 2015. What drew me in and keeps me coming back is how down to earth you've always been. Your videos feel like conversations you'd have with people exiting the theater. And you always give me a good idea what the overall experience will be like even if I don't always agree with all of your points. Thanks for staying so consistently great over the years Jeremy. Not gonna lie, this year the TV kind of swept the movies for me. I get the feeling movies and TV are going to start becoming more connected as the years go by. There's definitely a push for more "cinematic" TV. But nothing topped "X-Men '97" this year. Absolute peak of the year in terms of storytelling and filmmaking.
Been watching since middle school, I'm 26 and engaged. Your reviews have always been my go to and have saved me a lot of bad watches and found me a bunch of hidden gems. Thanks man, keep it up.
I’ve been watching you since 2012, sir. Your reviews and takes have only gotten better with time. I’d like to check out some of these movies on your top 10 list. Thank you for all you do and for keeping the integrity of film criticism.

Longtime subscriber since 2009! I was a freshman back then and I loved LOVED your LotR reviews. Fast forward 15yrs later, during which I changed country 3 times, continued my studies, career, and everything, you are still the only reviewer I trust. Though I might not have the time to watch every single one of your videos like I used to, I always go to your channel to check on your opinion on any movie I wish to see. Thank you for being such a constant in my life, Jeremy! Here's to another AWESOMETACULAR year of movies in 2025, and more years to come 🎉🥂
Thanks Jeremy for all these years, just realized this was the first channel I ever subscribed to almost 11 years ago. Reaching 30 now, it's insane man, time really flies...

Jeremy, when I was 12 years old my parents decided to send me to the same private school my brothers were going to for high school. It was an hour drive from my house. I wasn’t upset because I had friends there but I was young and that drive sucked. Flash back to 4 months before, I watch your review for “furious 7” never looked back. Went through your back catalogue on the way to school. Listen to you in the car with my dad. That’s my second listen though, because I never miss a notification. You’ve been a huge part of my life. It’s great to hear you care about engagement. Wishing you a great 2025😊
My love of great film critics started with Siskel & Ebert. Then, when Gene Siskel passed away, Richard Roeper came in, and every Sunday night was ritual to watch their show. Once Roger passed away, time passed, and no one could equal them. Until I came across Jeremy's channel years ago. You stand amongst the best film critics because you understand and truly love films. You earned those 2 million subscribers. Here's looking forward to 2025. It looks to be a great year, and I can't wait to hear what you think

Great list, but I'm sad that Twisters isn't getting recognition on anybodys year end list. Now thats a movie that had one job and delivered. Awesome summer action flick.
@ Man, I have read it and most adaptations of novels so complex (even The Godfather) have to change up things to fit it for the big screen. Just judge what is on the screen and not what was cut out.

I've been reading all the comments and it's so wholesome how much we've all grown with Jeremy over the years. I've been watching for well over a decade (maybe 2009??) It's been sooo long! I too have moved 5 countries, 6 homes, heartbreaks, depression, anxiety, rock bottom, and growth over the years. You'll never really know what it means. Thanks a million.
Deadpool & Wolverine is actually so good because it somehow manages to be a good superhero movie, while also being heartfelt, while also mocking modern Marvel and Disney, while also being a great parody of the superhero genre in general.

This would be my top 10 of 2024, based on what I saw. 1. Anora 2. Dune: Part II 3. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 4. Emilia Perez 5. The Wild Robot 6. The Substance 7. The Brutalist 8. Deadpool and Wolverine 9. My Hero Academia: You're Next 10. Nosferatu Honerable Mentions: a. Wicked b. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes c. Inside Out 2 d. Conclave e. Heretic
It most certainly is. Most won't rank it among the best of the year, but it's among the films I personally enjoyed the most this year, especially since it's from one of my favorite shows.
My partner and I have been watching your reviews since we first got together, and 2025 will mark 9 whole years of being together. So thank YOU for being one of the interests we've shared in common for nearly a decade!

I’ve been watching you since I was a young kid. You are the only UA-camr from my childhood that I still watch - I’m 23 now, graduated from college, working a full-time job, and diggin your content 😎 keep it up big bro, you’re the man
I've been watching you since elementary school and now I'm 40 lol. Great pick for number 1 of the year, just watched it yesterday and I was blown away! 😊
Bill Skarsgard is the new Gary Oldman. Man is a shapeshifter.
Haven't seen Nosferatu yet though
Is that the one who cosplayed The Crow
@@SuperPeterok to be honest, he had to work with a shitty script and a lousy production.
He’s no Gary Oldman. Miles to go.
@@jcardenasflicks I refuse to watch it. And refuse to watch that clowns movies. How dare he disrespect Brandon Lee's most iconic role.
Dude comes from a family full of Chad actors.
I have to say, your channel is one of the few that I still enjoy as much today as I did when YT first recommended one of your videos years ago. I did go back and watch all of them. Truly you are in my top 10 channels, maybe even #1, but who's counting ;). Awesometacular indeed!
Dune 2 has to be my favorite this year, but I haven’t watched many movies. Still love the channel though so thanks!
I've been with this channel for over 10 years now. It's been a fun ride and I'm still loving the content. Thanks Jeremy! I have not missed one video from you.
Jeremy, ive been a huge fan for at least a decade now. Merry christmas and happy new year to you and your family! Thank you for providing the most reliable movie review channel on the internet!
Here's to another AWESOMETACULAR year of movies in 2025, and more years to come 🎉🥂
Will I watch the movies in this list? No.
Will I watch the video anyways? Yes.
Man up and watch some movies
Ha, same. Well, I am eyeing up that Heretic movie.
Me. I'm not much of a movie buff but I watch practically every video Jeremy posts. He's just so damn entertaining
@@fatehazkhan Man up and watch some movies bud!
let me guess they are too mainstream for you..
Thanks Jeremy for all these years, just realized this was the first channel I ever subscribed to almost 11 years ago. Reaching 30 now, it's insane man, time really flies...
Found your channel in 2012 when I first became obsessed with movies and I haven’t watched a movie since without immediately watching your review after. You’re a staple of the UA-cam community no matter your sub count
Dune Part II is the first time I’ve felt that “magic” in the cinema since Endgame
To me Dune Part II and Nosferatu was pure movie magic experience. You can tell it was A MOVIE. Not a commercial product for the masses.
You must have skipped Top Gun Maverick.
Dune Part 2 was hot trash that completely shits all over Frank Herbert's Dune.
@@Hyperguyver2 There we go, can't have anyone praising Dune without a novel elitist trashing on it. Can't you just be happy someone enjoys an adaptation of the work I assume you love?
@@Hyperguyver2bro is trying to be different
7:40 Was that.....was that a Once upon a time reference?
Why yes...yes it was! I thought I was the only one to remember that show
I think it was, which was one of the last things I expected in the year of 2024 hahaha
Thought i was going mad. Loved that show when it aired lol
Love that show, good ear buddy
Love it, I own the whole thing on Blu-ray
Love you Jeremy!! Been watching for a long time now, I don’t even know how long cause time just is flying by 😭
I hope your holidays were great! Thanks for being a light in my life for the last decade 🙌🏼
I've been watching for over a decade, close to 15 years i think! I don't wafch every single video but it's always nice to see you on my feed!
You have become my GO-TO critic on the UA-cam...Appreciate your style Jeremy! xoxo
thanks for another year Jeremy & we all appreciate the early uploads for us commuters who listen on the way to work.
May your health prosper in the new year
Started watching you in 2014 after a breakup to rediscover movies i missed during that relationship. 10 years later still watching and now engaged with someone who watches every movie with me. Life is nice.
Your channel, SchmoesKnow, ChristStuckmann and WhatTheFlick were the OG movie review channels for me. Few of em started new channels, glad yours is still going strong in the same format. Merry Christmas Jeremy
Can you see how long I’ve been subscribed? Gotta be well over 10 years. Thanks for what you do, bro!
Great list, but I'm sad that Twisters isn't getting recognition on anybodys year end list. Now thats a movie that had one job and delivered. Awesome summer action flick.
I felt a disturbance in the force and searched for this video. Somehow it appeared like it was meant to be. As always great picks!
Dune Part Two truly is one of the best films this decade. Masterpiece. We should have more auteur-driven blockbusters.
Have you read the book? Dune Part Two missed the boat by a long shot.
@ Man, I have read it and most adaptations of novels so complex (even The Godfather) have to change up things to fit it for the big screen. Just judge what is on the screen and not what was cut out.
Thought part one was better. Part two they stretched out the first 3rd and rushed the end. Also the emperor was terrible.
Oh man, not this "Dune is a masterpiece" crap again.
Dune isnt masterpiece. If they didnt hire Midaya, then it would be
Jeremy love you and I'm been watching your channel since was in college. One of my favorite movie reviews of yours. Tusk!
Yes I'm. That old
I am a new subscriber (2M...you're welcome) who came here at the reccommendation of Critical Drinker who said you were the best 'traditional' movie reviewer on UA-cam...whatever the hell that means.
Dune 2 , nosferatu , last night with the devil , sonic 3 , horizon, woman of the hour , look back , wild robot , spy family movie ,
Been watching you since 2010 when I was a med student and single. And now I have been an ER doctor for 10 years and have a wife and 3 kids and still make sure to catch your top 10s

Great list! Looks like I need to check out Late Night With the Devil!
Congratulations on 2,000,000 subscribers!
Started watching your videos when I was 19 and making home movies. I’m 34 now and have a full fledged camera career in the film industry in LA
10:45 Ive been with you since 2016 (famous Walking Dead Finale), and now we nearing, already in our 40s, I wish we still are here 2034 in or nearing our 50s. Yet im kinda sceptic about it, may be life drives you on a different way, yet would love you are still making videos in 2034
You, Sir, are blessed with marvelous hair!
Been watching since highschool, now I’m 30 and about to get married. Always love seeing your videos come across my feed, yours were the first that made me look at movies more critically!
When I heard about the movie Nosferatu, my first thought was the Graveyard Shift episode from Spongebob
That's the sequel
😂😂😂. Both of y'all
really glad Nosferatu and heretic made it on here, given Jeremy's review on the first omen, alien Romulus, and long legs I would've expected them to be on here, long legs is my best of the year!
@@bloodhoundreviews4320 long legs really wasn't that exciting. It was boring!
@ you just have to be into slow burn's in order to like it!
@@bloodhoundreviews4320 I enjoy slowburns when they lead up to something big. This didn't. Hereditary is the perfect example of one of the best slow burn movies ever made.
Stranger Darling was wild

I guess I’ll add on to it. I’ve been watching you since I was probably 10 or 11 years old. Now, I’m 24, just graduated from my university with a bachelors in film. Crazy how time flies. Thank you for being an inspiration for me to follow my dreams towards being a filmmaker, as your reviews helped cultivate and mend my passion for film, and honestly without your movie reviews, I’d probably be working in some office job or chemical plant hating my life. So, thank you, Jeremy. Here’s to a great 2025 with great movies 🎉
Watched Wild Robot because of this video. And now I've felt every emotion through a single movie.
Great list!
It’s time we start putting Robert Eggers in the same conversation as Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve. He’s that good.
Eggers is not a blockbuster director yet and not a lot of people know him
lmao no way in hell
Eggers is better than villeneuve, worse than nolan.
@@TheJiminatorHSas a director? he’s miles better than both. as a filmmaker, he needs a few more films under his belt

You’re my favourite UA-cam reviewer and I’ve been trusting your opinion and laughing with you since I was a teenager, I’m 25 now. Much love man
01:00 Jeremy is GOAT UA-camr
I've been reading all the comments and it's so wholesome how much we've all grown with Jeremy over the years. I've been watching for well over a decade (maybe 2009??) It's been sooo long! I too have moved 5 countries, 6 homes, heartbreaks, depression, anxiety, rock bottom, and growth over the years. Jeremy, your content has always been a source of escapism and much needed boost for me. A virtual friend that I've had now for 1/3 of my life. It's truly amazing. You mean so much to so many of us. You'll never really know what it means. Thanks a million.
17 years, man. I've been watching your reviews for over 17 years now! May last 70 yrars and more)
Happy Holidays!
Oh I’m definitely looking forward to the Top 10 worst this year, so many contenders 😂
Deadpool & Wolverine is actually so good because it somehow manages to be a good superhero movie, while also being heartfelt, while also mocking modern Marvel and Disney, while also being a great parody of the superhero genre in general.
Deadpool and wolverine is not saves MCU.
X Men 97 is better
