$1.3 billion wasted on films within the corporate umbrella of Disney this year according to Murrell. If they repeat this feat once again in 2024 and 2025, it’s confirmation that Disney is in another Dark Ages.
It is pretty funny how they're almost half of the list, which was "helpful" since at least the Disney bad movies I had heard of--inevitably given culture war bullshit--unlike #4, #3, and #2.

@@buddabuddaits a real phenonenon, bad things attract more attention than good ones because is just easier to hate something and get absorbed on the crowd. NPC company
@@KIKAN_THE_RAT If only that attention resulted in money. Lol Disney lost more than a billion dollars in 2023 just from these trash fire movies alone, let alone Disney+ never being profitable from the start. I always thought that "Go Woke Go Broke" stuff was an exaggeration, but now not anymore.
Never stop making the top 10 worst lists! Art will always be critiqued, and that does not mean we should only heap praise or silence on said art. Sometimes, it's therapeutic (and fun) to call out the crap for what it is!
I love how this channel has had the same production value the whole time. Like the countdown effects are the same effects from 2009. And that’s amazing. Jeremy just Carries the show himself
I feel like calling out bad movies and mediocre products just makes so much sense and I'm glad you keep doing it. Siding with fans and consumers instead of following the Hollywood route of not trying to offend anyone and therefore lying about your opinions all the time.
@everythingisawesome2903 agree with you guys but I think stuckmann is different he had been actively trying to get into the film industry and is now actually directing a movie. It'd be weird for him to talk shit about movies, only to maybe end up working with the people who he just took a dump all over their films. It'd be like me trying to be a car mechanic and before a car shop hiring me, there's videos of me talking shit about how the other mechanics can't fix any cars lol
@@acostabry92 i guess stuckmann is in a tricky situation. i was thinking more of other film writers/content creators who are not in the industry and still refuse to say negative things. like, what's their excuse?
I was reading comments while watching and when the impression came I scrolled up looking for Jason Statham. Jeremy has an extremely accurate Jason expression.
I'm not surprised AT ALL that Wish is here. This movie not only made people question if disney cared about their 100th anniversary but also made some people worry if Zootopia 2 would be another misfire
I mean WDAS has not done a good sequel yet. NOt even REscuers Down Under. Thats a bigger concern. NOt to mention that Zootoia unfortunately can easily open up to...the kind of issues that studio likes to shove in their films now. But my interest in this sequel relies ENTIRELY on whether Inside OUt 2 is good or not. Yes, that is Pixar, but WDAS cannot hook me if they keep on pumping out Strange World and Wish and things like that. But if Inside OUt 2 is somehow good, then that means there is SOME hope for both animation studios.
“Out there it’s going to get ugly. In here, we just talk movies, and that’s fun!” And that’s why I love you Jeremy! Thanks for another great year of entertaining reviews and commentary. Happy New Year!
Winnie The Pooh Blood and Honey and The Exorcist Believer are definitely the films that offended me the most. As in “How dare you think you can release a film that is THIS horrendous”
Blood & Honey was really fun for what it was intended to be: A ridiculous, late night slasher with pennies for budget. There's no excusing the horrendous turn out of Exorcist given all the chance in the world to make it a hit.
As far as Winnie the Pooh, the absolute most horrendous, despicable thing they did was quite literally make Pooh and Piglet just redneck forest hermits that put on Pooh and Piglet masks and kill people. Cause they literally had hands. With FINGERS!😬 and their outfits didn’t remotely resemble the cartoon. They basically looked like a cross between Wrong Turn and TCM. But, end of the day, every director has to start somewhere. And if they see potential in WtP BaH director, they’re gonna keep giving him enough money to make more movies. But yeah, Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey was absolutely horrendous. Only thing that even slightly saved it was the main girl.
There used to be a thing in comic collecting (might still be idk) called event fatigue. Since the entire premise of Marvel movies became events and tie-ins that would get people to justify high ticket prices, they kind of made the audience's event fatigue inevitable (I know the tv shows are designed to be the "regular issues" component but the budgetary difference in tv shows doesn't really matter as much in comics. interested in if Gunn can avoid this issue with his reboot.
Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3 did actually well. Spiderman across the spiderverse also did well. Both superhero movies. I think the fatigue is with Disney quality and predictable, low affair movies where green screen is used in abundance with no real thought given to the script (cause we can always change it in post).
The reason he can't is because different brands require different approaches to succeed at the same time. If even if he's trying to avoid the fatigue, he's just turning DC into Marvel 2.0...with him writing and directing half the projects and casting all his friends, to most audiences, it'll just feel like more of the thing they're already getting tired of. Which is why DC started failing in the first place.
@@razvanzamfir1545exactly. It’s still possible to bring fresh feeling to a superhero movie I believe, but the established formula is too safe for the corporate slop makers to turn a blind eye to.
You have gotten me through so many tough times. I can't believe how long I have been watching you! Thank you so much for what you do, Jeremy. I still get excited every time you post a video 😊
If we could go back in time to 2017 and tell our past selves that multiple marvel movies would be on Jeremey’s top ten worst movies list in 2023 we’d never believe it
Why the hell not? Nothing lasts forever, and the MCU arguably peaked in quality pretty early, around 2012-2014. It was inevitable that they would decline in quality and popularity, the only surprising thing is how quick that decline was.
@@tbk2010 Marvel has become a statistic, there's SOOOOO many films that we're just in bell curve territory at this point, they still make some good ones occasionally depending on director and presence/lack of studio stupidity.
This is why I love this channel. Jeremy is a fan and like most of us, desperately wants everything to be good so we have more to love. You can see over the years how some of these movies have just taken enthusiasm from all of us. Hopefully one day Hollywood will 180 on some things and go back to the business of entertainment.
Thanks for all the years Jeremy. Ive been watching your channel since I was a pre-teen and have an inside joke with my mother about "yeahhhh now its a party" haha. Im 25 now, thanks for being a sense of comfort in my life. Happy new year 🎉
Man a majority of this list is comprised of Disney movies EDIT: I'm not surprised considering Disney is the most creatively bankrupt studio in Hollywood. Everything has to be a reboot, or a sequel, or something to cash-in on the popularity of a known IP.
Thank you for doing this. I used to watch another review channel that will no longer give negative reviews, and it's pretty boring without the criticism. Keep up the good work.
It reminds me of UA-cam removing the dislike button and pretending they did it to protect small creators... and not the financially influential giants who wanted to slow or shut down public criticism. Easy to see through.
Jeremy is an old grump now. Has lost all of his energy and generally mails in his reviews now. I need to find someone else who can look at movies objectively and know the difference between a movie like Expendables and DoD. Indy should not have been on this lis, regardless of the logic. I’m done.
@@TheRealmfc90125L take.. dial of destiny is pretty bad bruh. Doesn’t mean it has to be on your number 1 worst list but it’s prob on most ppls top 10. Jeremy has been putting in lots of effort lately just as he always has. He even put out the scariest ep Star Trek vid and two game reviews.
@@flataffect No need to like DoD but there's no way its a worse movie than those on this list. At worst its a flawed, but generally serviceable film. Harrison Ford is not phoning it in, even delivers the emotional moments well, classic Indy opening at the start, Mikkelsen is a solid villain, competently directed by Mangold. Story serves a purpose, however depressing some may have found it. Meanwhile Ant-Man does not even look like a movie. DoD is honestly leagues better than this list.
Even my favorite Spielberg movies, E.T. and Jurassic Park, look so realistic considering the practical/CGI effects they had at their disposal. 2023 movies such as the Expendables 4 are crap.
@@vectorwolf yep practical effects first and CGI effects second but it should only be used if the practical effects are really dangerous or impossible.
Been watching Jeremy since 8th grade, I’m 25 now! Always love these end of the year recaps, even bad movies can be great times at the theaters, got to see Indiana Jones with some old friends and talk shit, it was a great memory from this year! Thanks Jeremy for another year of reviews, let’s go another round!
I thought the only line she showed to be like that was from that clip alone.. Otherwise she was an obviously flawed character who had to learn a lot from Indy and by the ends of the movie helped Indy to realize he still had purpose
I just watched Indi 5 and couldn't disagree more from Jeremy though I am not a hardcore Indy fan and just enjoyed the previous films. I almost didn't watch it based on the review from him and I was so surprised how much I enjoyed the film. Helena was not nearly the typical girl boss and actually had flaws that were apparently and the action scenes were amazing especially considering Ford's age
“Out there is gonna get ugly, in here we just talk movies, and that’s fun” words like that give me so much comfort for some reason. It’s sad seeing each year the almost invariable continuous artistic genocide. Love you Jeremy 👍 🥹
Ive been watching him from the early days alongside Chris struckman smoes knows. great to see him grow and make a living off UA-cam and keep his format the same through the years
I can't recall when I started watching his reviews, but it feels like he's been all my life at this point. Here's for many celebrations more with him 🥂
@@DANNYBEEGAMINGG I used to love Schmoes Know when is was just the two reviewing movies. They went completely downhill after joining Collider and making their channel about that trivia show.
As much as I love your Top 10 Best Movies of the Year videos, I definitely love the Worst Movies more. You definitely don't pull your punches because you, like us, wanted those movies to be better than what they were. Never change, sir.
I'm a really cynical judgemental movie goer, and while I don't think FNAF was even really a "good movie" it was what it was supposed to be. I saw it with my son on opening weekend with an audience full of kids, and I've never been a part of a more active audience. They were shouting out every reference, every song is something I've heard a 30 second clip of repeating on a ipad countless times, between all 3 kids. It KNEW its audience weirdly well for a movie, and I was quite impressed on that level. # kids between the ages of 5 and 13 and all 3 have rewatched it over and over. It's like when you go back and revisit old creepy pastas and the writing kind of sucks, but for whatever reason at that time it resonated with people in a way more akin to a chemical reaction than a well crafted work of art.
The guy who directed Halloween Kills & Halloween Ends also directed the new Excorcist movie so it makes sense why it’s trash. Such a shame. Great list man, always looking forward to the end of the year rankings 🔥
Why anybody regards those Halloween movies as good is beyond me. They are fucking dire. Only good Halloween film is the original. It's a film that doesn't need a sequel.
I always look forward to watching Jeremy review movies. But more importantly, I always like looking at the thumbnail photo first. To get an idea of what his mindset is on it. Even if its a movie I never planned to watch. Watching him talk about a terrible a film was for him and the descriptions he provides on how it was directed and performed is hilarious on its own. It has provided me with years of entertainment. I look forward to hearing about his reviews in 2024 as well. Happy New Year Jeremy! Keep up the hard work!
A bit off topic but since Jeremy brought it up, Nemesis could have been a good Star Trek movie. I love the concept of Picard meeting a clone of himself and seeing a side to him that is more leaning towards violence but for the ultimate goal that he himself desires, “peace”. That dinner scene between the two Picards before the film really got bad was actually pretty decent and helped me see the potential hidden within. There could have something worth exploring there.
Jeremy, your videos have brought me so much joy over the years and I can’t thank you enough for all the wonderful content. I hope you have a great rest of the year and a fantastic 2024.

@@rons_sebActual black man here! Jeremy didn't do "blackface" in the minstrel sense. He wasn't doing a caricature of negative stereotypes of black people. He just did an awful parody of Blade. It wasn't offensive to me, and he didn't set out to mock black people as a whole. It's basically the same thing RDJ did in Tropic Thunder. But feel how you want about it.
@@rons_seb oh no, he made a silly funny video once, everyone sound the alarms... if you have such a big problem with something so stupid, why are you on his videos? Get a life.
@@Mr.NyongoOh shut up. It was funny in both Tropic Thunder and in Jeremy's Blade review. But especially in Tropic Thunder. I'm not promoting people doing blackface obviously; I'm just saying; both Jeremy and Tropic Thunder are funny. And plus; Jeremy only did it ONCE. So did Tropic Thunder; even if it was constantly throughout the film; RDJ's character was called out for it throughout the movie; by literally everybody; and even RDJ himself: and it's literally explained early on in the movie that his character is KNOWN for getting too deep into his characters; and his character got a "controversial" surgery to get into his role; and his character is known for getting TOO into his characters. Brandon Jackson's character calls him out for it; Ben Stiller's character called him out for it; Jack Black is probably the only character who didn't call out RDJ for it; he may have; I don't remember. But I DO remember that Tropic Thunder was one of the best and despite sounding like its trying to be offensive; like Jeremy says: "it's just dumb campy fun; for the sake of being dumb campy fun". And that's ALL Tropic Thunder tries to be. And THAT'S why it works so well. BECAUSE it's dumb campyness. And that's what Jeremy did too.
Two movies that came out this year that I highly recommend for a best of 2023 list are "Gangnam Zombie" and "Eye for an Eye: The Blind Swordsman." The First film is an awesome Christmas movie whereby a UA-cam channel team has to survive a zombie outbreak at a shopping mall in Gangnam. The other is an epic about a blind bounty hunter who decides to conduct an investigation into why an innocent person at a wedding was murdered and bring the perpetrators to justice. Both have excellent stories, well-written characters, multiple twists and turns, and clearly highlight how great filmmaking is to be conducted. Furthermore, "Gangnam Zombie" is a great comedy with some wonderful scenes that are full of laughs.
I was somewhat disappointed by Napoleon which is weird because Joanquin Phoenix is a such a talented actor and Ridley Scott is an amazing director. So of course it wasn't terrible but I feel like Napoleon's life was so grand maybe this should have been 2 movies or a mini-series. Also they focused way too much on him and Josephine instead of him being one of the greatest military generals ever. Thanks for the list Jeremy and yeah Indiana Jones deserved better!!
Really don't get the belief that "Worst of the Year" lists need to go. I think constructive criticism is just as essential to filmmaking in the 21st century as strong praise is. Also I do respect that Jeremy mainly focuses on mainstream movies that he hated rather than go after stuff that is either low budget and/or a good portion of the general public hasn't heard of.
It works as a contrast, but the reason most people dislike it is because it's very popular, it does very well on all media and if someone takes that as a sign that more of their effort and content should be that. You'll get very unpleasant and whinge'y content akin to the cinemasins type of youtube era. But if you don't have that passion and love of the craft to contrast it with, it just becomes garbage.
@@lukesmale24 The dude spent his own money reviewing films all year. He owns and runs a youtube channel in 2023. Ad rates for every form of media are in the toilet. For an actual good Harrison Ford performance, where he's not just being held hostage by Disney, watch Shrinking. He's fantastic (as is the whole show) and very funny and heartfelt.
The Meg 2 was the biggest disappointment for me (though admittedly I didn't see many movies this year). I loved the Meg. Jason Statham vs a Megalodon. Nature's perfect killing machine and a giant shark in one movie. Sure it was bad, but it was fun. The trailer for Meg 2 seemed so promising, especially with the Jet ski bits. Sadly, we got what we got, and your review at the time summed it up perfectly. It's actually when I started following your channel.

Props for the Leviathan and Abyss shoutouts! The Rift, Deep Star Six... there were so many instances of the same movie and they all had fun moments. Well, most of them.
Also I think Wish woulda been such a better concept if the message was that the King… is entirely correct. Because he is. And it would also be kind of a very mature, important message for a Disney film.
It's really crazy that these creative studios are probably actually trying to have scripts written by AIs. I had Chat-GPT "read" the first chapter of my own novel and it failed to summarize the chapter coherently. Even after an hour of training/explaining, it wasn't able to assign the right actions to the protagonists.

Something I appreciate about this list is that you omitted FNAF from it because you read the comments and saw that fans enjoyed it. It wasn’t to your tastes, but you saw that people who like the games enjoyed it, and you’re a big enough man to say “sure, if the game fans liked it it’s an alright adaptation.” Truly a terrible way to word what I’m trying to say but whatevs. I’m just glad it didn’t make this list because it resonated with the folks who knew Five Nights.
Jeremy, thanks for being a critic who has always been willing to actually critique films. There's authenticity in your approach, no soft peddling or excusing any terrible aspect of a film. You never pander to certain studios or give them preferential treatment. I appreciate your work!
If Outlast got adapted, the Variants and The Walrider would be creepy to watch in a movie or a series! The realistic human monsters deformed by horrible experimentations, and the supernatural threat of The Walrider that got created in a lab as a bio weapon to get rich from selling to the black market going horribly wrong and killing a lot of the bad guys is equally scary!
Thank you, Jeremy for making even trash entertaining or at least your reactions to it. I am grateful that I didn’t see any of your top worst, but saw quite more than 4 of your top ten. Have a great New Year.

I was watching your The Night Before review and noticed it was a higher framerate than what I've seen from you for quite a while. I was wondering when you changed that and why? I think the higher framerate actually adds a good quality to the video!
Jeremy at this point your end of the year lists are one of the things I look forward to most. They keep getting funnier and having the same familiar face each year is comforting! Keep it up man, love the videos, and can’t wait to watch you trash and praise another year of garbage and beauties
Phoebe Waller-Bridge is brilliant in Fleabag, hence why she won all those awards for it. This poor film doesn't negate from her otherwise stellar performances.
Season 2 of Fleabag is as good as the most iconic romantic comedies of the 80s and 90s. But to think of Phoebe as an action figure instead of casting a proven likable name such as Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman or Kate Winslet, was a terrible mistake
I know people who tried to watch Fleabag and didn't make it through the first episode. Apparently it's not that good but then again comedy is subjective.
Isn’t that a niche show for ex-hipster girls on the wrong side of 30? I don’t see the writer of that having broad audience appeal, which would be necessary for an indiana jones

Smells like an agenda. I'm shocked.
Woke agenda pretty fucking disgusting considering that these movies are targeting the young.

Never stop making the top 10 worst lists! Art will always be critiqued, and that does not mean we should only heap praise or silence on said art. Sometimes, it's therapeutic (and fun) to call out the crap for what it is!
Plus it provides a list of movies that should be remade. Why remake classics when you can fix failures?

*cough* Chris Stuckmann *cough*
@everythingisawesome2903 agree with you guys but I think stuckmann is different he had been actively trying to get into the film industry and is now actually directing a movie. It'd be weird for him to talk shit about movies, only to maybe end up working with the people who he just took a dump all over their films. Can we talk about the Jason Statham impression and how accurate it is
No. Because there’s nothing to talk about; it’s perfect. 😄
I was reading comments while watching and when the impression came I scrolled up looking for Jason Statham. Jeremy has an extremely accurate Jason expression.
Look up Kevin Pollack's 6 word Jason Statham impression. That is flawless.

I'm not surprised AT ALL that Wish is here. This movie not only made people question if disney cared about their 100th anniversary but also made some people worry if Zootopia 2 would be another misfire
Zootopia 2 will be awful cuz they won't be able to resist making it about Trump or something
Yeah same for Inside Out 2.
@@KhanMann66 i dont think so, I trust Pixar more than Disney
I mean WDAS has not done a good sequel yet. NOt even REscuers Down Under. Thats a bigger concern. NOt to mention that Zootoia unfortunately can easily open up to...the kind of issues that studio likes to shove in their films now. But my interest in this sequel relies ENTIRELY on whether Inside OUt 2 is good or not. Yes, that is Pixar, but WDAS cannot hook me if they keep on pumping out Strange World and Wish and things like that. But if Inside OUt 2 is somehow good, then that means there is SOME hope for both animation studios.

Thank you for being one of the few reviewers who actually keeps his politics to himself.
Winnie The Pooh Blood and Honey and The Exorcist Believer are definitely the films that offended me the most. As in “How dare you think you can release a film that is THIS horrendous”
Lol😂
@RayNotCharles Is it weird that you're selling me on the movie with that?
The pooh movie was more of a middle finger to disney. It didn’t need to be good. Even if it made $1 it was $1 disney wasn’t getting.
Dude you hit the nail on the head. I remember the wait for "Fear Itself" to finish before Avengers v X-Men.

If we could go back in time to 2017 and tell our past selves that multiple marvel movies would be on Jeremey’s top ten worst movies list in 2023 we’d never believe it
2013 us would’ve been shocked into oblivion
I'd never believed myself for having an MCU movie on the bottom of my own list
@Repent-and-believe-in-Jesuspbuh

I know exactly who you’re on about and you’re right. The UA-camr even bigs up the number one worst movie on Jeremy’s list.
It reminds me of UA-cam removing the dislike button and pretending they did it to protect small creators... and not the financially influential giants who wanted to slow or shut down public criticism. Easy to see through.

@@TheRealmfc90125Or perhaps he didn't like DOD because it wasn't good? 🤔
@@flataffect No need to like DoD but there's no way its a worse movie than those on this list. At worst its a flawed, but generally serviceable film. Story serves a purpose, however depressing some may have found it. Meanwhile Ant-Man does not even look like a movie. DoD is honestly leagues better than this list.
It's amazing how Alien, Aliens, T2, and The Abyss to name a few have way better visual effects than modern day 2023 movies.

Communism and Religion
Abolished - all religious and metaphysics is rejected. Engels and Lenin agreed that religion was a drug or “spiritual booze” and must be combated. *To them, atheism put into practice meant a “forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions.”*
Step one of the "Four steps for ideological subversion" (Yuri Bezmenov, 1985)
Demoralization - this is a process which can take about 15-30 years to perform (a generation). *During this stage, the moral fibre and integrity of the country is put into question, thereby creating doubt in the minds of the people. To do so, manipulation of the media and academia is required to influence young people.* As the younger generation embraces new values, such as Marxism and Leninism, the older generation slowly loses control simply through attrition. *Again, true facts no longer matter during this stage, but rather creating perceptions are of paramount importance.*
Eliminating American exceptionalism, *fundamental change of national identity, structural deconstruction of foundational principles, elimination of religion. Embedding a new societal design upon the psyche of generations through ideological academia, peer pressure by elites upon academics and society to convince that prior values were inherently flawed, racist, prejudiced etc. National identity is diluted with aspersions toward historical references. National History is re-written, re-defined, and molded to fit the new intended behavioral model and create the new values.*
--Established IP like The Little Mermaid, Snow White, Indiana Jones, Star Wars (etc) are historical references (cultural, social).
You are not meant to accept "woke" (Marxist) ideologies, but rather rebel against it.
Reverse psychology is a technique involving the assertion of a belief or behavior that is opposite to the one desired, with the expectation that this approach will encourage the subject of the persuasion to do what is actually desired.
A Controlled Opposition is a protest movement that is actually being led by government agents. Nearly all governments in history have employed this technique to trick and subdue their adversaries, notably Vladimir Lenin who said, "The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves."
So the pendulum swings, now violently, now slowly; and every institution not only carries within it the seeds of its own dissolution, but prepares the way for its most hated rival.

---Assert Atheistic, Liberal Communism in such a way people will go the intended direction of Ultra-Orthodox Religious Fascism.
Hegelian Dialectic: Problem, Reaction, Solution
Problem: Liberals are destroying everything; The economy, entertainment and society are crumbling under their leadership (institution). Unless they are stopped, the US/West will become a Communist society.
Reaction: We need a leader who will fight for us and save us from Communism, restore the economy, and reset everything so it will be as it was before.
Solution: A revolutionary change of power in which Conservatives can restore the nation and Make America Great Again. Eliminate all possible Marxist threats to our "Democracy" by labeling them as domestic terr-rists (treason to the State) and deplorables who are not worthy to live. Promise to make the US "One Nation, *Under God* " by enforcing religious laws (from the Talmud) passed in 1991 during George "1000 Points of Light, a New World Order" Bush Sr's administration called the Seven Laws of Noah.
Step 3 of the Four Steps:
Crisis - this is a major step lasting up to six weeks and involves a revolutionary change of power. This is where a cataclysmic event (civil war, invasion) upsets and divides the country thereby creating panic among the citizens. Recent examples include the 2011 upheavals in the Middle East, most notably Egypt and Libya. To Americans, symptoms would include circumventing the Constitution and altering the checks and balances of government, and possibly martial law.
Creation of economic, financial, and national security crisis. Also includes social crisis and breakdown of previous self-evident restrictions on moral behavior. Cloward Piven approach to overloading the system, more takers than producers. The crisis produces benevolent leaders who will promise to deliver things to meet people's needs (Hope and Change) through social and economic justice. False illusions that the situation is under control if strategic directions are followed. (Bailouts, regulations of industry and so forth).
---Immorality runs rampant and is praised by the Liberal MSM/Social Media.
---Thanks to Democrat policies on open borders, we have less jobs to go around, and more people to take care of through our taxes.
---Liberals promote certain people based on gender, race and sexuality, not merit, skill or actually being qualified/the right choice for the position. This is not social and economic justice, it's favoritism and bigotry while claiming to be the opposite.

I hated Napoleon 😂
Naw it was terrible
Napoleon was so disappointing it was horrible
Phoenix kept asking Scott for direction and apparently Scott gave him none . He needed to be directed.
Can you repeat that ..its not long enough
Jeremy you are one of the most genuine UA-camrs out there. Keep going strong!
Constructive criticism actually has to be constructive. Preference alone ain't it.
But he offers nothing constructive. Just fanboy whinging
@@lukesmale24 The dude spent his own money reviewing films all year. He owns and runs a youtube channel in 2023. Ad rates for every form of media are in the toilet. That is an objective fact. top 10 lists are evergreen money making content have been, will be and are now and will be for all time. Statistically if you reviewed films all year a high percentage would be bad and you would hate some of them. Hence they end up in the list. Its his list and the criteria are solely up to him. Your point is absolutely meaningless.
The Gaston moment was perfect. Perfectly voiced, perfectly synched, perfectly applicable to Dial of Destiny.
It's robbed Jeremy with the cocktail! He's back!
Thank you Jeremy, you’re on the right side of history. Definitely not a shill like 90% of reviewers.
That Jason Statham impression was perfection 👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
There's more garbage movies nowadays than good movies, unfortunately. Since 2019 (covid), it's all been mainly trash.
Thanks, Jeremy, you're spot on.
You definitely need to read the book series. I was really excited for the movie because book 2 was so much fun then I seen this and couldn't believe how bad it was.
@@beachbum325 I actually read the first book years ago (I still have it, and my wife read it this year). I enjoyed it well enough to finish, but not enough to read more. I don't think Alton's style is really for me.
I can’t live without these yearly top 10 count downs. Been watching them since I was like 14 and I’m 22 now. How time flies.
Same here, I'm 22 now as well. Grown up watching Jeremy fr
I usually choose to not watch trash film, but my top 3 worst of the year were:
1. The Meg 2
2. Cocaine Bear
3. Operation Fortune (I had to look up the title ahah)
Thanks Jer, another amazing year of content! Your videos remain one of the few consistently good things on UA-cam and we the people of the digital age appreciate it
Thank you for another great year Jeremy, happy new year and can’t wait to watch for another 15 years ❤
Watched Jeremy for years now, really hope he hits the 2 mil sub mark, he really deserves it! Thanks for being so entertaining all these years 👍
Props for the Leviathan and Abyss shoutouts! The Rift, Deep Star Six... there were so many instances of the same movie and they all had fun moments. Well, most of them.
Best Movies: Pristine Jacket
Worst Movies: Bathrobe with some Scotch
Never change Jeremy :)
Goddamn, I've been watching Jeremy since his review on Dark Skies, and here he is still giving quality content! We will be with you till the end.
Thank you Jeremy for all your videos this year. I always look forward to your reviews and lists
It’s crazy to think that I have been watching you for a whole decade. And it’s all cause I was looking for a Zelda: A Link Between Worlds reviews and yours was the only one I could find! To another decade!
Saying that Wish felt like ChatGP was writing the movie... yeah honestly I can believe it.
Something I appreciate about this list is that you omitted FNAF from it because you read the comments and saw that fans enjoyed it. It wasn’t to your tastes, but you saw that people who like the games enjoyed it, and you’re a big enough man to say “sure, if the game fans liked it it’s an alright adaptation.”
Truly a terrible way to word what I’m trying to say but whatevs.
Anyone else celebrating their 10th anniversary watching Jeremy talk about the shit bombs of the year?
Thank you for making a top 10 worst of 2023! and the Jason Statham impression was spot on.
When someone asks me who is my fav UA-camr you always come to mind, Jeremy. Thanks for all these great years,. Looking forward to 2024 and onward ✨
But should it be a found footage movie or should it be not?
@@elharvey5032 🤔 good question
Just watch a playthrough of the game.
Thank you, Jeremy for making even trash entertaining or at least your reactions to it. I am grateful that I didn’t see any of your top worst, but saw quite more than 4 of your top ten. Have a great New Year.
Love your reviews man, long may it continue, until I can trust the movie industry again to just go watch a movie and not think I'd rather have burnt the money.
I was watching your The Night Before review and noticed it was a higher framerate than what I've seen from you for quite a while. I was wondering when you changed that and why? I think the higher framerate actually adds a good quality to the video!
I’ve been looking forward to Jeremy’s worst list every Christmas for the last 8 years. It’s a tradition 🎄
@@roarbertbearatheon8565 No it's not "a niche show for ex-hipster girls on the wrong side of 30" LOL. But I do wish she wasn't courted to do this movie. It didn't benefit anyone involved in it - including herself.

Thank you for another great years of reviews Jeremy! #1 all time reviewer of these times
Jeremy's Jason statham imprssion is 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌
My nose for bad films has never failed me in over 40 years, I avoided every single one of these films this year. I guess working in a video shop in the 80s and 90s is finally paying off.
I was surprised by number 1.... but it makes sense. It was a big disappointment. I had honestly completely forgot about it.
No fast X on this list is crazy! Easily one of the the worst of the year for me.
We can always count on you, Jeremy.
God bless you, don't ever change! (sees Chris Stuckman) PLEASE don't ever change!
I love that we have both, I love that Jeremy still isn’t afraid to poke fun and really drag some movies that he really didn’t like.
But I also love where Chris is at now in his life where he just wants to foster more positivity in the movie community 🙂
I really appreciate the Half Blood Prince reference. I feel like semi deep Harry Potter references are dying.
I've been subscribed to your channel for years, I always enjoy your content, and these end of the year ones are some of my favorites =D thanks for being so awesome and happy 2024

Nobody describes themselves like Gaston
Timon: Nobody asked the opinion of Gaston
wow lots of Disney in here, but all deserved. Thanks for another year of awesome reviews jeremy! Been watching for at least a decade and will continue that as long as you make videos.
Back when I first subscribed to Jeremy I watched enough movies to make my own top ten lists
Now Im lucky if a see enough movies for a top 5
Happy New Year man you're my only reliable source on UA-cam ❤
