Love these reactions. JL dark really is one of the best Dcamu movies, Matt Ryan is the goat Constantine actor and that says a whole lot as Keanus movie was great. Would love if they somehow get Ryan into the 2nd movie
Personally while I like Keanu's movie it is just not the same Constantine from the comics, however I think his character and the world building are solid enough to be considered their own independent character/series. All it would need is for Keanu's character to have an iconic name of he's own.

This movie was amazing. Better than it needed to be. I've been fascinated by etrigan since I saw him in the BTAS. So to see him in this was the cherry for me. Plus, I'm less familiar with swamp thing but I know of him, saw the show, so to see him in this was also fun. The action was great, the plot was good. I think one of the best installations in this series.
In order: Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox Justice League: War Son of Batman Justice League: Throne of Atlantis Batman vs. Robin Batman: Bad Blood Justice League vs. Teen Titans Justice League Dark Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay The Death of Superman Constantine: City of Demons Reign of the Supermen Batman: Hush Wonder Woman: Bloodlines Justice League Dark: Apokolips War
In this continuity the follow up film is Constantine: City of Demons but chronologically it’s Teen Titans: The Judas contract. Apokolips War ends this continuity and should be watched last (not considered IG films made outside of this universe)
Bless you fellas for not being able to hear the difference between a London accent (south east of England) & a Liverpool accent (north west England), loving your DC animated reactions
Whats nice about the animated movies is that they arent just adaptations from the comic so you can enjoy all the stories from difference sources :) Justice League Dark has the best storylines since Constantine's thing is people constantly die around him so you always feel there are stakes and consequences. I also recommend Apokalips War and City of Demons where he fucks Los Angeles 😊
For such a short movie, this does a great job of introducing really interesting characters and giving them some decent focus. I wish we got more with Swamp Thing, but even what we did get was great
Loved watching this film and reaction. Really hope this is apart of gunns plan down the line. A dark justice league film in live action would be dope. But all of these animated films in the DCAMU are great. I'm loving them all.
Just want to point out that the voice of Richie here is the same actor that played him in the series as well. He was in Lost as well. Great character actor.
Nothing makes me happier than Batman groaning angrily every time something magical happens around him. I really hope you guys watch Constantine: City of Demons to get more Matt Ryan action.
They DO have a team of magick hero’s lead by Zatanna with Mary Bromfield and 13 Girl, Khalid Nassour, Madame Xanadu ( Nimue Inwudou ) and others like Constantine, Dr. Fate, Phantom Stranger.
Constantine is supposed to be from Liverpool. As someone from Liverpool myself, I can't help but scrutinise the accent. If I look past it, Matt Ryan gives a great performance, but I can't help thinking that the accent is a bit all over the place.
It’s a crime that you haven’t seen Matt Ryan’s Constantine before. He’s the best portrayal of the character. It feels like he was born to play Constantine. Matt Ryan originally played Constantine in the Constantine tv show and then thanks to the fans demands he was brought back to the arrowverse. He has also voiced Constantine in the DCAMU and in Harley Quinn. The guy who voiced Ritchie in this movie is also the guy who played him in the Constantine tv show so it was cool that they brought him back as well. I will list below all of Matt Ryan’s appearances 1. Constantine tv show 2. Arrow S4E5 3. Legends of tomorrow S3 as a recurring character and then joins the cast in S4 and then plays a different character completely in S7 4. Crisis on infinite earths crossover event 5. Justice league dark 6. Constantine city of demons 7. Justice league dark apokalips war 8. Constantine house of mystery short 9. Harley Quinn animated series S3E5
You know what Constantine story I want to see animated? I know it’s hard because it’s part of a larger story and it’s an elseworlds story too but man would I love to see DCeased especially Constantine’s part. It’s peak Constantine to me. Powerful, trickster, do everything possible to prevent it including screwing others over but at the end of the day willing to self sacrifice.
We saw him in Constantine Season 1 which was cancelled and season 2 was never released, then in CW's Legends of tomorrow season 4. He has been our favourite since 2014.
Mark 11:47. Detective Chimp's initials are "DC"! Hehe! 😊😆 As an ape, he isn't a monkey. The lack of a tail indicates as much. He should quit those cigars. When did he start smoking? 🤔
Definitely a solid movie in the DCAMU line up. As always I love watching you guys react to these and can’t wait for you to watch the rest and eventually make your way into the new Tomorrowverse line of DC movies.
This also isn't part of the DCAU, but you guys should check out Superman/Batman: Apocalypse with Supergirl in it! It's a great stand-alone animated movie! ☺️
I know it’s not part of the continuity you guys are watching but, I’d love to see you guys react to justice league new frontier. One of my personal fav animated dc movies
The live action series was fun... and it's too bad it was discontinued after only one season. Also, his appearance in the Arrowverse, though appreciated, just seemed to make him a victim too the writing.
3.7K Thumbs Up + Mine! 👍 You're welcome! Thanks! 😊 Notes: Yay, I stayed awake and viewed it in one sitting! Whew! I thought that I had seen it before but it turned out that I hadn't. Did I at least buy it? 😅
I'm still surprised that Greg, John and Coy never watched the live action Constantine series. It literally has the same dude who voice Constantine in this.

Judas Contract is probably my fav but this one is a pretty close #2 love these reactions ya'll keep em coming!!
The halfway point of the DCAU and one of my favourites
In order:
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox
Justice League: War
Son of Batman
Justice League: Throne of Atlantis
Batman vs. Robin
Batman: Bad Blood
Justice League vs. Teen Titans
Justice League Dark
Teen Titans: The Judas Contract
Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay
The Death of Superman
Constantine: City of Demons
Reign of the Supermen
Batman: Hush
Wonder Woman: Bloodlines
Justice League Dark: Apokolips War
In this continuity the follow up film is Constantine: City of Demons but chronologically it’s Teen Titans: The Judas contract. Apokolips War ends this continuity and should be watched last (not considered IG films made outside of this universe)
thank you for the editorial clarification at 8:10 i like when channels do this
Matt Ryan is literally the perfect Constantine, both animated and love action
I wish we got more with Swamp Thing, but even what we did get was great
"Arghhh its like reheated shit"- Coy that just killed me dude. 😂😂😂💀
Loved watching this film and reaction. Really hope this is apart of gunns plan down the line. A dark justice league film in live action would be dope. But all of these animated films in the DCAMU are great. I'm loving them all.
my faaaavorite animated DC movie ! finally! Guillermo handling this in live action would be a beautiful nightmare come true.
John Constantine is from Liverpool so his accent is liverpudlian, North west england.
Matt Ryan's John Constantine is one of my favorite characters. I hope we see him again.
I like how this seems stand alone within the dcau, yet is the tie in to the last one and the first one of this universe!
They DO have a team of magick hero’s lead by Zatanna with Mary Bromfield and 13 Girl, Khalid Nassour, Madame Xanadu ( Nimue Inwudou ) and others like Constantine, Dr. Fate, Phantom Stranger.
I love that if captions are on you can read the backwards spells Zatanna says :)
Constantine is supposed to be from Liverpool. As someone from Liverpool myself, I can't help but scrutinise the accent. If I look past it, Matt Ryan gives a great performance, but I can't help thinking that the accent is a bit all over the place.
Rewatching these and missing these videos all the time! Wish you'd watch the rest of the animated DC movies.
Batman grunting is another of the highlights of this movie. Him just casually rationalizing what he's seen in the most Batman way possible XD
4:00 time for new Robin
5:29
Yes. What an intro for the cat
Good work guys, there's a couple more of the dark series, you're gonna love them.
The 'Mister Salieri sends his regards' was such a delight.
I will list below all of Matt Ryan’s appearances
1. Constantine tv show
2. Arrow S4E5
3. Legends of tomorrow S3 as a recurring character and then joins the cast in S4 and then plays a different character completely in S7
4. Crisis on infinite earths crossover event
5. Justice league dark
6. Constantine city of demons
7. Justice league dark apokalips war
8. Constantine house of mystery short
Constantine is one of my favourite dc characters of all time. Just a cocky british magic con man is so fun
I’m excited for the Dark movies, so good!
Superman has many weaknesses, Curses and Magic included
FUN FACT: Camilla Luddington who voices Zatanna in this also voiced Lara Croft in the 2013 - 2018 Tomb Raider games.
Jo from Grey's Anatomy voices ZATANNA?!? This is news to me.
It's a northern England accent for those wondering, probably Scouse
It's not. The actor is using his normal Welsh accent
*Batman literally holding baby orphan* I think I’ll name him Robin. Training starts Monday.
The live action series was fun... and it's too bad it was discontinued after only one season.
Also, his appearance in the Arrowverse, though appreciated, just seemed to make him a victim too the writing.
Yes! Please do the second one soon!
3.7K Thumbs Up + Mine! 👍 You're welcome! Thanks! 😊
Notes: Yay, I stayed awake and viewed it in one sitting! Whew!
I thought that I had seen it before but it turned out that I hadn't. Did I at least buy it? 😅
I'm still surprised that Greg, John and Coy never watched the live action Constantine series. It literally has the same dude who voice Constantine in this.
When Constantine is talking, All i hear is Edward Kenway.
Solve this come up in your feed so I spent the time to actually watch this movie today just because you guys reacted to it it's pretty awesome
