I bet it makes it even much the surreal to see documentaries regarding the end of her life and her murderer! I’m so sorry for this tragedy! I wish the owner of the salon would’ve taken Joleen’s stance on Kim more seriously. Even customers disliked her.

@@hodjo713 I know too many murder victims at this point in my life, our friend Marlene was strangled and left in the woods behind her house by her bf in 10th grade, we all grieved that trauma together. Now Joleen is gone, it’s very very odd.

What really bugs me about this case is the workplace bully issue. The way Joleen had gone to the salon owner - who testified that Joleen had gone to a lot of trouble to tell Kim to get away from her, and had told the owner that something was "off" with Kim, and that Kim was bothering her. SO WHY WAS KIM SCHEDULED TO CLOSE WITH JOLEEN? Soooo typical. TOO TYPICAL. Managers and HR do ZERO about bullies, LOOK WHERE IT ENDED!

I watched another documentary about Kim Kessler that had a lot more details about her crazed personality.
Before working at the salon she worked at the pizza parlor a few doors down from the salon.
Coworkers there said was strange and would often get into it with coworkers & the manager.
She was described as a bully.
Joleen standing up to her was heroic.
And yes, she stopped a cold blooded murderer who likely would have kept on.

I believe that Kimberly Kessler killed Joleen Cummings because she found her suspicious and really odd. I guess she didn’t like her asking questions so she took her life. The way she must’ve killed her was really brutal and it did in fact happen in the beauty salon maybe around the time they were getting ready to close up for the day. The two of them were probably the only ones there that day. It’s also possible that Kimberly lured Joleen to the beauty salon somehow. It’s really sad to think that she has never been found and Kimberly refuses to say where she is.

Some of the cops bully people and it's not right. Like they did this poor man. They just assumed it was him and they treated him like he was guilty without any proof. It's unacceptable.

This is a horrible tragic case. But i think if joleen had just minded her own business and just went to work and ignored this woman, this tragedy could have been avoided. 90% of the time, you will work with someone you don't mesh well with and can't stand. So you clock into work, and you clock out and go home. She shouldn't have made it her business to pry into this woman's life. If she hadn't, she'd still be alive. Still, this is such a senseless loss of a young life.

    • @glamdolly30

Nice piece of victim-blaming! The killer is a highly dangerous psychopath, who has almost certainly killed before. You think this was the first time Kessler clashed with another person in her daily life, and decided to kill them?
This report omitted many important details. It was clear from the witness accounts of salon customers, the killer was jealous of the victim and her popularity in that salon as a stylist. She made it her business to make Jolene's life a misery - then she awaited her opportunity to be alone with her, and ambushed her with a weapon (police believe a pair of scissors).
As we saw on the CCTV of her hurling body parts into a dumpster, she was a strong, powerfully-built woman at that time - the victim never stood a chance.
