Chef Brophy was so kind, a brilliant teacher and he pushed me to ask questions.
To taste everything, work harder and challenged me to succeed.
He was an encyclopedia of knowledge. He loved his students, his rooftop gardens and his chickens were his favorite people.
He was my greatest culinary teacher, being in his class was such a gift of his knowledge.
To say he is greatly missed, just doesn't seem to be enough.
RIP, a one of a kind Chef.

@jessicadavis5431 I agree completely on Chef Brophy. I had him @ Western Culinary in '99. Nancy was in my class. I can't believe this is the first time I've heard of this. And It's horrible.
Something the show said that rang true even in '99, the students all RESPECTED and liked him. Yes, he was tough, but you did NOT want to let him down.
      It's such a shame.

What's even more heartbreaking for me is the fact that Chef Brophy's students show more compassion, grief, and love for him than his own wife. These people are not even family members and yet his death wrecked them. It goes to show how truly evil Nancy is.

THE RECORDED CALLS TO THE POLICE WERE SO TELLING. SHE WAS LAUGHING ON THE STAND! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! PLUS, SHE DIDN'T REMEMBER DRIVING AROUND THE MORNING HER HUSBAND WAS SHOT AND SUCCUMBED TO THAT SHOOTING! THAT DAY WOULD BE ETCHED IN MY MIND TILL THE DAY I DIED!! SHE WAS SO NONCHALANT ABOUT EVERYTHING. SHE DID IT. MOTIVE, OPPORTUNITY AND HOPEFULLY GAINFUL $$$$$$$ TO HER BANK ACCOUNT. My neighbors did too, her hubby died of CV, had 4 kids (like me) & now she's not selling her house to be homeless, instead she remodeled ALOT. (Something I wouldn't do, as I would save it for me & the kid's NEEDS) but at least it prevents you from an even bigger tragedy.

And she doesn’t even get the money. It’s like criminals can’t do the math. Murder = jail. No money, no freedom. No husband. No grandkids. The likelihood of getting caught is really high. The risk vs reward is really low. She’s clearly living in one of her novels. I will say listening to her is annoying as heck, she’s that lady I couldn’t sit next to for 5 minutes. The fake charisma is sickening. She really thought she was pulling one over on everyone. Except she gave herself away in her writings, Hahahah. That’s what gets me.

Do you send your love a card every Valentine? Or do you write ROMANCE novels? I cringed with just the first paragraph.
