“I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well, maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2016. However, despite not being able to walk for a few weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and try to practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…we are all specks of dust…Also, thank you for all your support. It means a lot. I have suffered from anxiety from the past and self-confidence, (yeah hard to see now right) didn’t think I was ‘good, or worthy enough’ but I feel I have a new lease of life, don’t really care as much and want to show you guys what I have! : ) You are all awesome and without you, there would be no channel.

There is a part of me that doesn't want her to be super famous/mainstream. Its a little hard to explain, I want the best in the world for Aurora but then I want her all for myself. What a gem!

Fun fact: she only had one hour to create, arrange and reherse this masterpiece. ( part of the concept in the radioshow, from this is from)
and its a song she really dont like ^^ she gave thump up or down on different wong s in an interview and this song she gaves a thumps down ^^ and she had to complete redo the song, and only one hour to complete change it and rehears the new arrangements, is whats makes this another level.

I love Aurora, she sings so beautiful and the best thing is that she sings live really, not like most singers today. It also has rhythms and sounds so different from "normal", I love it
Her covers even they are brilliantly delivered are nothing compared to her own songs , she has such a diversity of songs , vocalization , harmonies ....
For example , Wisdom cries and Through the eyes of a child ...SO different i just wonder how is it possible. Thanks Rebecca ! because of people like you more people are discovering a genius .
You mentioned MA , they are huge fans of Aurora after they attended her outdoor concert in Oslo 2016 ( Øya festivalen) . You should take a trip to Oslo next year !
7:07 Aurora is Norwegian, and they pronounce their words very throaty, so much so that other Scandinavians say that they sound like them, except with a rag in their mouth.

Definitely danes. And we say that they have potatoes stuck in their throats. Impossible to understand, because they swallow so many words that it's very hard to make out what the words are.

Norwegians are considered to be the most musical of the Scandinavian languages. The stereotype you're thinking of is about the Danes. The version I heard though is that they sound like they speak with their mouths full of potatoes.
The danish language is weird af. We dont even pronounce half the letters in a word. Norwegian is definetly the prettier language

First of all, she is the cutest thing ever to show up on the planet! Her music is addictive! I heard her for the first time 3 weeks ago, and I haven't stopped listening yet and bought tickets to see her in concert next spring even though it is a 7 hour drive each way. Listen to more of her music, she is also an incredible person. 💕

I saw her in Cologne on friday and it was one of the best concerts of my life so far! (i´ve been to quite a lot) The 2 Hours went by soo fast, i was totally drawn in by her presence, her voice, the rest of the band and the Music Quality was bomb.

I’ve seen Aurora on concert this yeah ! She sang the first song A Cappella ! And it was her version of Nature Boy ! It was crazy, beautiful, I’ve never seen a concert room so silent and focused on the singer, everyone had chills
