The fact that more and more people discover her music and find it beautiful makes my heart warm. Please, react to "It Happened Quiet" or "All Is Soft Inside" cause this songs are so emotional and divine. Thank you again for understanding her music and finding beauty in it.

@@christian8156 Yes. I can see that you think angel, I think Elf Queen. In the vevo lift version it seem as if she has a light inside her and she is luminescent and it is shining out of her pores. This song sound ancient and at the same time it is something completely new that feels terribly relevant in our day, all at the same time. It is beyond primal and beyond words, it is pure feeling, and healing. It feels like a hidden magic sprung to life in my whole body, it vibrates through my veins, touches my heart and nourishes my soul. It is as if this songs awakens something in my DNA I did not knew excited, a crumb of the great cosmos within me. Somehow Aurora found this missing piece of humanity and has brought it back too us.
I love that you are so affected by the music. You are a professional. But you haven't melted into the profession so deeply that your heart has become shielded from the magic that can happen when the performance connects and opens you up. Please, keep that aspect of yourself. It's lovely.
I was playing this for a chuckle in my living room, never heard this before but I do love Aurora. She hit that note and my girlfriend from across the room dropped a glass of water and I sat there dumbfounded, tears streaming down my face for no reason. I looked around the room and my girlfriend, my two friends and I were all crying. I literally felt that note like a punch in the chest, no idea why but I FELT that shit.
She does this to many of us. She is tuning into something beyond her vocal abilities. More so than most musicians. One of the rare ones that can line her soul up with her performance to a point where her expression, voice, tone and ability and person are all one. Simply stellar
I'd love to see you react to Sigrid. She's a Norwegian artist that's gained a lot of popularity just like Aurora. They're even the same age! If you don't know where to start, I'd suggest "Sigrid at Paste Studio NYC live from The Manhattan Center". You'll get to experience three songs in the span of about 15 minutes. There's also some beautiful backup vocals and piano in there :)
Definitely check out the song Helvegen she did with Wardruna. It's very different and maybe I'm just a bit biased cuz it's featured in one of my favorite shows, but I think you'd like it
Ugh she is so magical and sounds so much like the studioversion live.... you need to watch a live performance of Black Water Lilies at Honda Stage. Lucky, It happened quiet or Soft Universe live at Nidarosdomen
@@63rdwho Yes it is a masterpiece! listened to It Happened Quiet for months, it is so.... so... magical and insightful. A couple of weeks ago it was Lucky on repeat because I needed it and now it is All Is Soft Inside and I switch between the Live on KEXP performance and the one in Live at Lollapalooza Brasil 2018. I absolutely adore both, in Iceland she is so free, demanding and wild, while she in Brazil is uber feminine and ethereal. I adore how Aurora shows the wild side of womanhood and that all emotions are valid and we are free to live them out.
@@mammastenhjerte I only discovered Aurora about a month ago, and am absolutely mesmerised by her. I too like the KEXP concert, and also the live at Nidarosdomen. And tonight I watched the Lolapolooza in Chicago from 2016. I love how Aurora is not only unique, but also honest. I have watched several of her interviews, and she has no pretentiousness like many mainstream artists. Also, hoping this doesn't sound wrong in any way, she is beautiful too; no piercings, no tattoos, and what little makeup she uses - I know there is always some on stage anyway - is not excessive, just naturally beautiful. Just Aurora. A breath of fresh air in a world where many artists are the same as each other.
@@63rdwho I found her nearly a year ago and not a day has gone bye that I have not listened to her. She is now the soundtrack of my life. I am going to see her live on March 22th.
I absolutely love to watch your reactions to Aurora performance! You're always so honest. Lovely. You understand her and his universe it's really adorable each time...
Your reaction at abt. 4:00 is exactly what mine was...the depth of emotion evoked...the mood of the lyrics...tone of the song create a huge wave that hits one. Although I have heard this song (in several versions) many times, that wave still hits me every time I hear it, esp. this particular performance.
I have watched tons of reaction video's on UA-cam, your reaction at the 4:02 mark is the most raw, authentic and memorable reaction I have seen to date. Aurora has a way of pulling you into another dimension.
I love you! Your videos always make me happy! She is so captivating, magical almost.. Now I'm off to find out if you have other reactions of her! I need more of you fangirling over her!
"Thy shook, as Shakespeare would have said." That cracked me up. But seriously, Aurora is something special. I adore her music. I'd love to see you reach to Beth Hart. There is a pretty nonending supply of live performances from her on UA-cam, but maybe "Beth Hart - Leave The Light On (Live At The Royal Albert Hall)" would be a place to start.
The amount of emotions we can feel from 4:00 is really intense. The first few times I heard it, I physically began to shiver as I got overpowered by her voice. I can't really describe it well, but it felt somewhat like emotional pressure or something. It really messes with you and you can't help but take a step back every time. This is what I love about her
This is the first i've heard of AURORA, and WOW was I blown away! I agree that she's got the vocal emotion and style of Lana, but also the agility and energy of Sia. Can't wait for you to react to more of her, i'll try to wait for your videos before I listen to more of her!
Yess I've been waiting for so long for you to react to Aurora again! She's one of my favourites, her voice and her expression are magical. I knew you'd like it 💖
I was captivated by Aurora's tone, and her movements in this piece. The way she performed this along with that guitar accompaniment was hauntingly beautiful, and emotive. As always, loved your reaction Rebecca!
That's how I always feel at 4:00 for this particular performance! She puts in so much emotion that it I always tear up. It's so unexpected and beautiful. Glad you're liking her! Seeing her on tour in a few weeks so I'm excited 😊
Yaaaaaay! She’s amazing isn’t she???! Obviously feel free to react to many more of her performances. Especially the more recent ones, she’s such a special artist. Love you! 😊✨
I love that you find Aurora fascinating. I love watching your reactions to her. She is one of my favorite singers and some day I would love to see her in concert.
4:40 haha yes. I understand. AURORA is the only singer ever that gets me crying purely from her voice and what she radiates. Idk even even what exactly is it, but wow. Every time (for many years) that I listen to her, I break down at certain points. She's literally a goddess.
Oh I loooooove Aurora so much, I've seen her live when she came to Brazil and it blew my mind! She's incredible! Thank you for the react Rebecca, you're great
how have you not done more Aurora? Amazing. I can't stop listening. I hope you have some of her stuff on your personal playlist, because she's an artist that needs to be heard.
I'm surprised that this wasn't her cover of Teardrops by Massive Attack, since you mentioned in your last video with Aurora that she reminds you of them.
I cannot understand why AURORA isnt being played more on the radio, its frustrating. You have Sigrid, she is from Bergen and is massive in the UK, what the hell is happening, AURORA should be, in my opinion, even more massive. She needs a slot on Graham Norton, come on Graham, get her on immediately.
Your reaction is always my reaction when I listen to her songs. I always cry even if I’ve listened to it multiple of times already. She is out of this world.
I’m so glad you did this! Aurora really impacts me in a way not many artists do. Daughter has a somewhat similar impact, but it happens less. “Doing the Right Thing,” “Run,” and “Youth,” are some of Daughter’s I return to. Sometimes music feels a bit... spiritual to me, regardless of the content or subject matter. There’s a feeling of truth in Aurora’s music that just strikes me. I love writing after I listen to her stuff; it’s deeply inspiring, like getting a glimpse behind the creative curtain at what’s possible with the truth of your experience on your side. I’d adore your thoughts on Winter Bird from her first album; it’s... she does some crazy stuff with her vocals. It’s not as out there as Wisdom Cries (I find that technique aggressive enough that it makes me actively anxious, lol) but it’s still very... Aurora. She has some beautiful deep cuts I feel like people won’t be as likely to review or see and it really makes me sad, especially with an artist like Aurora I don’t feel as releases anything superfluous or to pad the track list. Thank you for the wonderful video; it’s a great reminder that even people who are trained to evoke beauty from people aren’t inured to it. There’s just a part of us that responds in a very human way, and I think that’s to be celebrated. ☺️ It was beautiful that it happened and we’re lucky to have gone on that moment with you. Thank you for posting; you add to our days and we appreciate it. 🙏🏻
Just love the way she gets lost in her songs and performance 😍 Yay for more Aurora reactions! 😍 Great breakdown as always, we were all shooketh indeed 😬💙 It would be awesome to see you react to her collaboration with Wardruna in the song Helvegen 😊
delivery and control in abundance here. the arrangement is perfect. 4.00 Rebecca gets it straight in the heart. we've all been hit the same, my love. Aurora plugs straight into what matters, Simple as that. Enjoying your work Rebecca.
I LOVE WHEN YOU REACT TO ARTISTS I LOVE. At the beginning, I didn't like her. Her vocals were weird to me. But then I listened to THIS song and I cried my eyes out. She makes me cry a lot (confessions of a metalhead, pt. 1 xD). She reproduces a type of vibration that causes that in me, it is either voice, guitar, cello, keyboards.... There are just some sounds that trigger something. I shake like when having huge goosebumps and then my eyes just liquify. It's amazing.
Thank you for reacting to more of Aurora. I only found her music about a month ago, and can't stop listening to her. I would love if you would react to "It Happened Quiet" live at the Nidarosdomen. That song is a masterpiece.
Yes please, please react to "It Happened Quiet" live at the Nidarosdomen, it is an musical and emotional masterpiece and t highlight the amount of control she has over her voice.

Love this talented young lady. I discovered her 3 years ago thanks to a TV show in Italy (somebody was dancing on "Runaway") and I was completely captivated by her voice and then by her stage presence too. Thank you for this Rebecca 😊
It's not Aurora sounding like Lana Del Rey. It's the pure Scandinavian tones that Aurora has that have been distributed and distilled around the globe including the USA and UK that triggers the similarity!
The experience you had at 4:00 is most likely that you have synesthesia. I find aurora taps into mine more frequently than most musical artists. If you find this sort of thing happens, as most people who are deeply into music do, and others around you can’t quite understand or don’t feel the music the same way you do this is often the reason. They are not the same as us.
I love all the complements you gave her. I agree. Her voice is very angelic and I love it. I love the whimsical aspects of her music. I love your positivity!
I absolutely loved your "reaction" or analysis of this song. No superfluous or dumb comments which ruin most "resctions." You stopped at just the right moments. I completely agree with you about that incredibly emotional moment in the song. It was both the horrifyingly beautiful lyrics and her incredible fragile vocals, that drew out the exact same reaction in me. I'm a 58-year old and I teared up. The idea of a 'tender' mercy of killing the one you love to spare them the terrible things that will come, is at the same time a horror and beauty (in the abstract). What songwriting! I only discovered Aurora yesterday. I confess and am ashamed to admit that I had been ducking her videos because of her non-conforming appearance. I finally bit the bullet out of curiosity, and I am head over heels in love. Thank you.
You should try listening to Aurora “ through the eyes of a child” the stripped version which is a capella. One of the Best performances i have ever heard.

Wardruna
Who will sing me
Into the death-sleep sling me
When I walk the road to Hel
And the tracks I tread
Are cold, so cold
I sought the songs
I sent the songs
When the deepest well
Offered drops so mighty
Of Valfather’s pledge
I know it all, Odin
Where you hid your eye
Early or in fading day
Still the raven knows if I fall
When you stand by the gate of Hel
And when you must tear loose
Follow you I shall
Across the bridge of Gjöll
With my song
You will be free from the bonds that bind you
You are free from the bonds that bound you
[Håvamål - The High Ones' Speech, Poetic Edda]
Cattle die, kinsmen die
You yourself will also die
But the word about you will never die
If you win a good reputation

The reputation of those who died

4:00 i felt the heart of the universe tremble!!!
Thank you so much for reacting to Aurora, your content is great!
Here's the link in case you can't find it:

They're actually good friends! :')
Definitely check out the song Helvegen she did with Wardruna. It's very different and maybe I'm just a bit biased cuz it's featured in one of my favorite shows, but I think you'd like it
I just watched that for the first time tonight and it is incredible. It reminds me of Heilung.
@@ZosoZeppelin13 Female vocalist of Heilung is also Norwegian:)

Wardruna's Einar Selvik made the music for the TV show Vikings @@callmewaves1160
@@rolsen1304 Thought so 😊
Ugh she is so magical and sounds so much like the studioversion live.... you need to watch a live performance of Black Water Lilies at Honda Stage. Lucky, It happened quiet or Soft Universe live at Nidarosdomen
LUCKY!!!! YESSS
Please please please react to her singing It happened quiet live at Nidarosdomen. Your reaction after 3:53 was soooo adorable and pure ❤❤
Yes!! It happened quiet live at Nidarosdomen is a masterpiece of another world.
It Happened Quiet is so good, it is off the scale. I cannot stop listening to it.
It so special when you find a singer and a song that elicits such a strong, real, visceral reaction that you must have to feel with your whole body
Love your reaction to Aurora. So beautiful. She sings with her hands and soul, and it draws you in and you connect. She's powerful 😍
I have watched tons of reaction video's on UA-cam, your reaction at the 4:02 mark is the most raw, authentic and memorable reaction I have seen to date. Aurora has a way of pulling you into another dimension.
oh my god, time flies. i remember when aurora was this amazing little moth and now she is the strong woman with her queendom
YAS! Thank you so much for reacting to Aurora's content! Sending love from Argentina 💙
Please react to Under the water by AURORA. That song it's just... pure magic. 💕
I LOVE YOUR REACTIONS!
That's my favorite song it's just so good but underrated af :(
@@evandersolis5528 I feel like in general Aurora is so underrated. She's so talented and has such a beautiful angel voice.
Under the Water. Why in the world have you not reacted to this. Plz gawd.
The amount of emotions we can feel from 4:00 is really intense. The first few times I heard it, I physically began to shiver as I got overpowered by her voice. I can't really describe it well, but it felt somewhat like emotional pressure or something. It really messes with you and you can't help but take a step back every time. This is what I love about her
It’s funny that you mentioned “the secret garden” because Aurora wrote and sang a song for that movie :)
The point where she will love Aurora forever. 04:03
This is the first i've heard of AURORA, and WOW was I blown away! I agree that she's got the vocal emotion and style of Lana, but also the agility and energy of Sia. Can't wait for you to react to more of her, i'll try to wait for your videos before I listen to more of her!
Please react to Aurora - Through The Eyes Of A Child Live omg it's so beautiful
Yes!!! The vevo lift version!!
Yes absolutely. The Vevo lift (live) version is utterly gorgeous.
The moment at 4:00 is what I love about music. That visceral reaction, where the music just touches something that you can’t explain.
PLEEEEASE react to It Happened Quiet by Aurora live at the nidarosdomen
Vinicius Andrade yes plz!!!
Yess I've been waiting for so long for you to react to Aurora again! She's one of my favourites, her voice and her expression are magical. I knew you'd like it 💖
Yay! Love you so much darling! That pink blouse is so gorgeous! 😍
Omg I'm hearing this song for the first time and I got goosebumps all over my body.
I was caught off guard at 4:00 and literally teared up. Idk why
Talking about secret garden, have you heard Aurora's newest song Secret Garden for that film?
You reacted to AURORA!!!! my Queen. Thank you soooo much
I was captivated by Aurora's tone, and her movements in this piece. The way she performed this along with that guitar accompaniment was hauntingly beautiful, and emotive. As always, loved your reaction Rebecca!
Waiting for another AURORA reaction and there it iiiissss. Please more of it 🤩🤩🤩🤩🌱
That's how I always feel at 4:00 for this particular performance!
She hit that note and everyone took 10hp damage
4:40 haha yes. I understand.
AURORA is the only singer ever that gets me crying purely from her voice and what she radiates. Idk even even what exactly is it, but wow. Every time (for many years) that I listen to her, I break down at certain points.
She's literally a goddess.
When her name is mentioned in the music industry, it is associated with quality!
Oh I loooooove Aurora so much, I've seen her live when she came to Brazil and it blew my mind! She's incredible! Thank you for the react Rebecca, you're great
What happened was, Aurora reaches inside and touched your soul. She actually wanted you to cry. She thinks it’s good for us.
how have you not done more Aurora? Amazing. I can't stop listening. I hope you have some of her stuff on your personal playlist, because she's an artist that needs to be heard.
I'm surprised that this wasn't her cover of Teardrops by Massive Attack, since you mentioned in your last video with Aurora that she reminds you of them.
More people asked for her original work
I cannot understand why AURORA isnt being played more on the radio, its frustrating. You have Sigrid, she is from Bergen and is massive in the UK, what the hell is happening, AURORA should be, in my opinion, even more massive. She needs a slot on Graham Norton, come on Graham, get her on immediately.
Aurora is fantastic, the USA needs to peep her more than they do. She's one of my favorites, tea
Your reaction is always my reaction when I listen to her songs. I always cry even if I’ve listened to it multiple of times already. She is out of this world.
Honestly I get it, sometimes aurora brings tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for coming back to her!
Yes! More Aurora reactions and defiantly Helvegen with Wardruna, and hopeful then more Wardruna and Einar Selvik.
delivery and control in abundance here. the arrangement is perfect.
It's amazing.
she is so open and vulnerable it’s so hard not to have emotion run through you.
I loved your reaction :) So glad you kept Looking into her after the first Video. At her concert I felt just what you did there. Just pure emotions, excitement, sadness, and so on. Like being sucked intoa fairytale ;D One of the few concerts that time just flew by, it felt like 30 minutes instead of two hours^^
I absolutely love Aurora ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I get that goosebump effect every time I listen to her
OMG, Aurora's slide into her high range at 3:07, simply beautiful. The one at 4:03 was criminal it was so good.
Thy Lady doth be shooketh, because Aurora's voice is like the sun shining through a crystal glass window inside an old church.
just came back from seeing aurora perform tonight. the live energy completely takes you somewhere else.
You should react to her singing “it happened quiet” live! It’s an incredible song (my opinion it’s her best) and it’s amazing live
Yes Aurora is amazing. Great reaction video as always. Would love to see a video from you about LP. Lots of love
She's good Shnooks. Her facial expressions remind me of Bjork xx
Yes! Shnookies
I completely agree with everything that you say in this video about Aurora. She’s literally the purest bean with the most wonderfully sweet voice, like ever.

I would become an
Israeli citizen just as

and just as her late

In late October 2016,
following the
passing of my mother’s
late mother Salima
Chai, I had to,
as an Israeli,
face the pain and
trauma of the death
of having lost someone
eternally meaningful and
loving for my real
mother. As I mourned
my late grandmother,
I decided to carry on
her love and kindness
led legacy, for my
Jerusalem Israeli
family and my mother,
and ensuring
I could support

I can, every
single day,
they need

Love this talented young lady. I discovered her 3 years ago thanks to a TV show in Italy (somebody was dancing on "Runaway") and I was completely captivated by her voice and then by her stage presence too. Thank you for this Rebecca 😊
The artist singing with her is Odd Martin Skalnes.
YES another aurora song ahhh. Thank you
Yes please react to "It Happened Quiet" from Nidarosdomen, that song is like nothing else I have ever heard and it shakes my soul.
It's not Aurora sounding like Lana Del Rey. It's the pure Scandinavian tones that Aurora has that have been distributed and distilled around the globe including the USA and UK that triggers the similarity!
I love this performance. I discovered Aurora from your other video of her and she is my entire life now
The experience you had at 4:00 is most likely that you have synesthesia. I find aurora taps into mine more frequently than most musical artists. If you find this sort of thing happens, as most people who are deeply into music do, and others around you can’t quite understand or don’t feel the music the same way you do this is often the reason. They are not the same as us.
Yes yes yes yes
Waiting for a long time for this
The "emotional moment" made me start to weep. So powerful.
I saw her live in my hometown Tromsø, Norway on a mountain. She is literally THE best live performing artist I've seen and heard, and she's funny too!
I love your reactions and critiques you are brilliant and funny. When you almost cried… got me a little bit. I love Aurora and I love this video.
Aurora is exquisite, deeply love her
i love it when you react to aurora, it makes me so damn happy! react to her live performance of “it happened quiet” at nidarosdomen.
I love all the complements you gave her. I agree. Her voice is very angelic and I love it. I love the whimsical aspects of her music. I love your positivity!
great reaction rebecca i suggest you to listen to this one
Wardruna and Aurora - Helvegen (Live) (VIKINGS )
Yes!!
Agreed, both Einar and Aurora killed that performance, excellent song.
Oh I only found Aurora a few months back but I'm obsessed. Her music speaks to me on a whole other level. She's in a world and league of her own! 💖
She has such a mystical sound. I LOVE it! Kind of gloomy dark adventure teen movie sound track.
You are great, love both your professional opinions and your humour!
