"Don´t you speak over "MY VOICE"". It is, as if she is demanding back a piece of her own ground, respect - demanding the attention she deserves. It´s like she is fighting back in that moment, just to lose a second later. It´s so deep and personal. I wish, I could get a glimpse in her mind. She is in her world - in her domain.
This, to me, is a masterpiece of counterpoint. The first time you hear it the imagery draws you in as if its a wonderful scene of gentle love. But then there are hints of something darker and on the last line it becomes clear something terrible happened and you need to go back over each line and piece it together. This is my interpretation: "Eyes blue and hollow" The eyes of a lover turned murderer trying not to have feelings or even be fully aware of what he is doing "As it rains against their will" But of course, he does know and he is crying "Feathers falling out of a pillow - As if time's standing still" Sounds so light and magical - an ultimate counterpoint to the violence of the reality. The violence that causes the feathers to come out of the pillow. But you don't question this at first. "I can't remember much more. But I know it happened quiet. So quiet " Trauma blanks out her consciousness but she knows he is being careful, secretive, trying to hide - even from himself. "Words falling out through the window. All that remains is a silent call. Is the earth colored red? As I land like a flower on the meadow. Love is wild " Again, as a counter point, using this distant or other worldly view of the violent scene to make it sound, at first hearing, like something beautiful is happening. But he threw her out of the window and she lands outside in her own blood. "You fell apart, Like a stone can be broken into sand, All thousand pieces* Spread across a crying land" Once he realized what he's done his sanity completely breaks down into tiny pieces. "And you can't remember that day. But you know it happened quiet. So quiet" So now he feels the trauma and blanks it out himself. *** Here the spooky singing - oooooo's announce the return of her spirit ** "Are your dreams as dead as they seem? Are your dreams as dead as they seem? " So now her voice, from out of death, asks him to face what he did, destroyed what he loved "Don't you speak over my voice. I will return from the shadows. And I'll bleed in your bed, Turn it red, Like the ground outside your window. Love is wild" She tells him not to try and talk or think his way out of it. Threatening to return from death and bleed right in his bed! Defining, with the last lines, what the red was outside his window and therefore what really happened that day.
The Aurora performance I love the most is the live performance of "The Murder Song" from the 2015 Nobel Prize Concert. Although having said that, I do have to say that picking her best performance is very, very hard, because she lays her soul bare with every song. She is just so impressive!
Aurora, is not from this planet. The fact that she came here, to share her voice and her words, almost brings me to my knees. She is a true treasure, and should be protected, and embraced, at all cost.
Every time i listen to this specific recording of the song i ugly cry. It's almost unfair how beautiful it is that the message is so dark, but at the same time it's perfection.
isn't she so special....? she has the amazing ability to connect to everyone's emotional core....this song is dark - about a complicated love affair that may be "dead"............"are your dreams as dead as they seem -- I bleed in your bed, turn it red like the ground outside your window-- love is wild" (not in a good way)
Her head voice after the belting of “don’t you speak over my voice” sounds almost menacing. Before it mostly sounds vulnerable. It’s amazing how she can create this effect.
Us fans often say Aurora needs to be protected. This song adds to that comment. She is something very unique and both strong but very fragile. In all the time i have followed her online, i don't think i have ever seen a disrespectful comment on her clips, which these days is a near impossibility. Hope it lasts. ❤
I simply adore Aurora and have seen hundreds of reactions to her videos. Still haven't seen any negative comments about her. It would be the same as dissing the sun, simply pointless. Saw her live in Oslo in 2019, simply the best concert I've ever been to. ❤️
From what I can see a lot of metalheads love Aurora, so do I. There's something very metal about her, like the purest core of everything we love in music and in people.
Never heard of this girl before but she's got a great voice. As a self proclaimed metal head I've gotta say, never trap yourself down in just one style or genre. Keep your ears open because there's so much great music and talent out there.
@@TheCharismaticVoiceYES. Oh gosh, between the HAIK Concert in the woods (more intimate and upbeat) and the Nidarosdomen concert (some of the most beautiful performances with an orchestral support) I can't choose! I suppose you'll just have to do both one day ;). EDIT :HAIK is my favourite
The contradiction of her voice and subject is fantastic in this song. It just hits harder, and brings home the more the subject, makes you confront the result of violence in relationships
I've never heard of nor have I heard her sing before now, but holy cow I am absolutely blown away. I need more of this. Thank you for sharing this gem.
Love is pain, in a sense. Love is allowing someone into your heart knowing that one day, inevitably, someone will be hurt. Even a perfect relationship that lasts 50 years ends in heartbreak when one of the partners passes on. Real love is knowing one day, you either will be hurt, or will hurt someone else, or youll hurt each other. The beauty in love is finding the person youre willing to suffer that pain for, and cherishing them every moment theyre with you. Love truly is wild 😊
YES. So happy to see Aurora back on the channel! She's magical. And I hope you'll find your way back to Eivør again soon. These two are the ethereal voices of elvendom❤
Miss Zharoff, I wanted to thank you for introducing me to Aurora. She’s not someone that would normally pop up on my radar as a metal head. Your reaction to Jinjer’s Pisces is what made you pop up on my radar, and I’m so very glad that it did. I’ve been blown away by your knowledge & perspective not only pertaining to music, but to human emotion as well. In Aurora, thanks to you, I’ve found such depth of beauty in her sound & words. Her voice brings me to tears in many songs. I don’t mean that in a negative way in the slightest. Music is therapy, and the emotions in us are meant to be expressed, even the ones that may be considered “bad.” Music is a healthy way to process and release some of those heavy emotions, whether as the creator or as the listener. So again, thank you! Your channel is good medicine. Wishing you all the best. Sincerely, a scruffy, old metal head. God bless.
Yes that is what Radiohead does for me and it satisfies my love for complicated intricate musicand it does it with songs that are 5 minutes long usually although I still like prog.
Aurora is a metal head herself, she talked about it one of her recent streams on her channel. I find it really interesting that so many people who are into metal are surprised to find they like Aurora as well. Even though her music seems so different, there is clearly a connection, perhaps the level of raw emotion in her music...
Elizabeth, more Aurora please. Her performances are pure visual and emotional magic. Pure, honest, real, and uncompromising. As with ALL of her creations, its the story thats important, and we can't get enough. Please react to 'A Diff Kind of human' and its outro ' Mothership' . Love the way you pay so much intense attention to these artists, thank you for your clever insight.
Appreciate the insights in Aurora's body language, most people just call her quirky and leave it at that. What you've noted really adds to the understanding of the song, a performance I have seen many times and only really noticed the changes in strength of her voice for some lines.
I want to cry when I hear “I can’t remember much more but I know it’s happened quite, so quite”. It’s literally what I can to say about my trauma. I can’t remember, but I know it’s happened quite. It’s so amazing
Aurora has stated that she writes songs as a form of therapy, so her work is based on experiences she's had. She doesn't reveal the full meanings of her songs but it's speculated that this song is related to two of her other songs, Murder Song, and I Went Too Far. Both of which tell a story of a tragic love. About Murder Song she said "It's a tragic love story. Very tragic. The saddest thing is that he really loves her.", implying that it's likely not about her directly but someone she knows. This is further reinforced by I Went Too Far, where she stated "When I was 9 I wrote most of this song. I watched someone brave and kind not demanding the respect and love they deserved." All of the songs deal with abusive relationships so as unfortunate as it is she likely witnessed an abusive relationship when she was a child and wrote these songs as a way to make sense of it all and endure it. Purely speculation, it was likely a man, who was vying for the affection of a woman who would take everything and give nothing in return. He likely broke off the relationship in Murder Song, and it ended badly. This song likely deals with the emotional pain afterwards. The lines "Eyes blue and hollow, As it rains against their will, Feathers falling out of a pillow, As if time's standing still." are likely a reference to Murder Song, and the man after he's "killed" the woman, hence the hollow eyes, and coming to terms with what he's done. Just some thoughts, it's all very deep, but she intentionally leaves it vague so you can come up with your own meaning.
It's very difficult to say where she got the inspiration to these songs from. She grew up in a very safe surroundings with a beloving family. But she has got many losses of close relations in family and her close boyfriend was killed at the Utøya massacre in 2011 (Little Boy in the Grass). But she has a great imagination and is very emotive and has the ability to understand others feelings in a way few other have.
If I am remembering correctly, I heard her say in an interview one time, that "I went too far" had to do with her dealing with bully/friends that she tried to hard to get their approval. She gave up herself in order to fit in and be accepted by them, but realized that it wasn't right and eventually let those people go.
I thought Murder Song was written after she read about a man who killed his wife for mercy because she was terminally ill. The perspective was from the woman’s point of view which is why she says “I’m dead” and “I know he did it for mercy “
@@debbiegarnica603 I personally read into Murder Song as being written from the perspective of a domestic abuse victim that is still within the thrall (for lack of a better word) of the abuser, and making excuses for him. Maybe because I also get almost a Where the Wild Roses Grow type feel from it. The song is very different, but there’s that twisted love aspect. Where the murderer is very mentally ill, and is doing what he thinks is right, almost “protecting” Eliza’s beauty by killing her at the height of her beauty. That entire album (Murder Ballads) lives rent free in my head, and has since I was 10, when it came out. I do not regret giving it that free brain space. Also, I personally think that Kylie in that video is the most beautiful any woman has ever been, and I blame that specific video for me still falling for pale redheads. Also, there’s not much Kylie I’m into. There’s Confide in Me, and the Impossible Princess era, and this song. All within a few years of each other. The rest is a little too poppy for me. But mid 90s Kylie was perfection! And who doesn’t love Nick Cave? But maybe that gives a bit of insight (as well as completely going off topic, my apologies), as to why I read that song the way I do. I also still remember the four years where I wasn’t in contact with my best friend (who I’ve loved as a sister for over 20 years now) because she was in a highly abusive relationship, and he had forbidden her from contact with me. She eventually divorced him, and got back in contact with me, and she’s much happier and healthier now, with kids, in a great relationship with a wonderful man- but it’s still hard to remember, that feeling of watching her slip away, and being completely powerless to stop it. And that likely also plays into how I read that song. I see this song as the abused slowly “waking up” from the thrall. At the end, she’s saying not to speak over her, that she will return, but the beginning is still rather blameless, much like Murder Song.
this is artistry. really taking the time to listen and hear is so....profoundly appreciating, the expression and storytelling deeply well done and simultaneously destroying.
Aurora's lyrics are poetic in a unique way: Eyes blue and hollow As it rains against their will Feathers falling out of a pillow As if time's standing still I can’t remember much more But I know it happened quiet So quiet Words falling out through the window All that remains is a silent call Is the Earth colored red? As I land like a flower on the meadow Love is wild You fell apart Like a stone can be broken into sand A thousand pieces Spread across a crying land And you can’t remember that day But you know it happened quiet So quiet Words falling out through the window All that remains is a silent call Is the Earth colored red? As I land like a flower on the meadow Love is wild Are your dreams as dead as they seem? Are your dreams as dead as they seem? Don’t you speak over my voice I will return from the shadows And I’ll bleed in your bed Turn it red Like the ground outside your window Love is wild Love is wild Love is wild Love is wild
I love your empathetic respectful analysis of this song. I find it very nice that you also include Silja so gracefully, her guitar playing, her voice. Wonderful.
While I think the version of this song that Aurora performed at Nidarosdomen is better (or at least more impressive, as I love both performances), I'm glad to finally see Aurora make a return on this channel - she's my favourite artist ever, and this channel has some of the best insights
I checked out the Nidarosdomen version after I filmed this. Kirk and Paolo did review those versions, but I feel the emotion in this version is just so chilling.
@@TheCharismaticVoice That's an excellent point, and I agree that this version has its own special magic; and in fact it highlights one of the things I love so much about Aurora - none of her performances are ever exactly alike. Her and her band are always able to infuse each individual performance with its own unique identity, and they're always mesmerising. As always, I can't wait to watch your reaction!
@@TheCharismaticVoice As much as I love Aurora and as beautiful the Nidaros concert is, I get the feeling that she has a harder time, voice- and breath-wise in (at least part of) that concert, than in anything else I think I have seen her do. I've only dabbled in singing, so I'm might be way off, but I have a theory that maybe the accoustics of the church might have something to do with it? Or maybe she was just having an off day, voice wise. It just seems everything takes more effort on her part there than usual. (I realize I might be stepping on some "Warriors & Weird"-toes here, so apologies for that.) But YES! Very happy that you are doing more Aurora!
would love to see you do more AURORA videos, you are REALLY good in analyzing her. Not just her voice but her body language which is a huge part of her performance !
Aurora just takes your breath away, and, remember, she writes all of these things. She had already done quite a bit of work by the age of twelve. Whatever analysis you throw at it you have to read the lyrics and know her history to put it all in perspective. One thing I have learned in this pandemic is that you not only hear with your voice but with your vision as well. With that mask on it is often very difficult to hear what someone says without seeing their face. Aurora takes it well beyond that. Her performance is not only what you hear but what you see. It is in her hands, her eyes, the movement of her body. It is all these things and more. As a senior, I feel fortunate she has come this way and that I found her. Excellent reaction too!
What strikes me watching Aurora perform is that she’s also a good actor: being able to dredge up authentic emotion for a performance is clearly one of her specialties. Also: Wow..imagine being tasked with singing high harmony for Aurora. 😳
When I was in my 20's Laurie Anderson blew my mind. Now I'm 62 and I find myself once again having my mind totally blown apart, this time by Aurora. I feel very fortunate and humbled.
I can not get over the talent Aurora has. Her lyrics, her musicality and her voice - which is both power and silk. In my opinion nobody expresses a message in such an indirectly way as Aurora, and her poetry of lyrics makes me listen to her songs over and over again in order to grasp the total meaning. With these skills she absolutely stands out from the crowd :)
It's so interesting to see people reacting to Aurora, they start to even comment and analyzing in a very calm, soft and almost whispering way. That's when you know she got you
One of the greatest singers (artists) that I have ever listened to during my current time in this world. She is so pure. I cannot really even express it with words how much of a blessing she is and how lucky I am to share this same current lifetime as her. Her music has moved me in ways other artists have never done before. She sings with a voice directly from her soul and it reaches deep into everyone else’s soul. Breathe taking. ♥️
There is few musicians fully embody music/singing. Aurora is one of those who isn't just singing but is living it with her entire being. If you want another artist like this look up Tash Saltana. They are very very unique but fully embodies everything she does. You will not be disapointed
Silja's choirs shake even more ... Two angels singing on earth. Who does not get excited about something like that is not of this world. The song ends and AURORA's voice still dances in the air. Amazing song! One of his best compositions for me
I love that you picked up on that little shiver and the bouncing for comfort. She really does become completely immersed in the emotion of the story in her music. In fact, we regularly see her needing to 'shake it off' at the end of her more emotional songs like she needs to do it to come back from wherever it is she goes while she's performing. Aurora live is almost a spiritual experience! It must be time for another Aurora reaction? How about 'Through the eyes of a child' live at Nidarosdomen?
This will make my day ! Anything from Aurora is always an excellent choice. I'm very glad that Aurora gets the honoring attention by someone competent and sensitive like Elizabeth is on this channel. As someone in another comment said well: She is the fifth element. She must be protected at all cost.
The primal compulsion to "protect" her I understand, especially in today's world. I feel like she is as vulnerable as finely spun glass, but I also think she is as strong as high carbon steel. In the urge to "protect" her it is a fine line between that and limiting or caging her, personally or professionally. In the end we have to trust her instinct, heart and intellengence in surrounding herself with people who understand and love her. She is not lacking in any of those qualities, and has said one has to experience life in order to write about it.
She is the 8th wonder of the world.... I first heard her when you covered helvegen and I'm completely enamored with her voice. Simply amazing experience to hear...
I find myself doubting that there can still exist people (that i could meet) who could allow for feelings like these to come out and maybe even reciprocate. Look at her... who feels like that anymore...
This React is very different from many others. And that's good. You, Elizabeth, analyze this song so deeply. You see every movement and hear every tonal emphasis. You're the first to go into that particular part of this song ... Don't speek over "MY VOICE". Strong words but ignored by many. Your React is honest, with heart and soul. I love it!
I have followed aurora now for 5 years,I have had the pleasure of seeing her perform live and seen most if not all of her concerts videos and live streamed performances, There is only one word you can use to describe her. GENIUS.
Such a hauntingly sad, and beautiful song. So hard to get through without tearing up especially when you also watch her expressions. I absolutely love their two voices together.
Wow!!!! What a justifying reaction to her artistry and talent. Really it felt you really heard her with all your heart and and the interpretation and explication made it worth all our time.
My Dad and I are hanging out again; my Mom had cancer and he was by her side so constantly, and while we spent time together, it often wasn't the kind... musical adoration we enjoyed. At the end, he was holding her hand or reading to her or putting lotion on her hands (they were always dry, she had trouble with that, but after she was put in hospice, I noticed her hands were perfectly smooth; it was one of the few things he could really do for her, so he did it thoroughly), and for weeks we were just waiting, knowing it was soon, hoping she wouldn't be in pain and discomfort for too much longer. Seeing the suffering was awful, and she sort of... faded away from us over time, so we couldn't really communicate well. It's been a bit over a month and my Dad and I are healing. It's hard, because we miss her, but we're relieved she's not suffering now. And, well, we missed each other as well. I'm moving across the country in a few years and we really want to use the time we have. I'm making these playlists of things to show him during his visits. Not necessarily music he'll like for its own sake, but for its technical prowess (Post-Modern Jukebox's Creep, Nightwish's Poet and the Pendulum -though I fangirl the heck out because Tuomas is ridiculously talented, SERIOUSLY), and I can't wait to show him. Some songs I hold back for days that he's in a good mental place, relatively speaking, and I tend to give backstory where I can. I think I'll troll him with Jinger's Pisces, though, lol. I'm happy that in addition to showing hm those songs, I can show him reactions like this. We're both singers; I went to nationals in my day and he was in a pretty successful chorus (they performed at the Biltmore quite frequently) for almost a decade, so we appreciate the technical side of things, and either finding out new things or loving someone else appreciating a speficic technique at a certain spot really is so satisfying. I suppose I typed all this to say, we've had a hard time, and are trying to sort of... get into this new normal, and it's helpful to us that music and music appreciation exists like this. The world is a better place for it, and our lives surely are. For me, with songs I've known for years, it gives me so much happiness to see someone experience it for the first time, and I almost recapture the ecstacy of falling in love with a gorgeous song for the first time. It can be hard to remember how it felt to discover these songs, and to see new love for them just charges me up! And whether it's something my Dad would listen to in his off time or not, it's nice to share these things I love with him and have discussions that wouldn't have happened otherwise. We've had so many difficult times lately, and in the next few weeks, I'm going to have a difficult medical procedure that's going to really be painful and kind of traumatic, so we're not out of the woods yet. But knowing it's to have a better future, one that involves kids for me and him finally having grandkids, it's worth it. Having a store of videos that make me happy and distract me, that inspire me, it's important. I'm glad these videos and this channel exists. It's really impacted my life, and will thrill my Dad, and give us some happy moments that, honestly, we really deserve at this point. It's pure serotonin, and I'm here for it.
Jin R. . . . I experienced the exact same feeling two years ago . . . . and it has never left me. It might be a very long ride and we should prepare ourselves. Aurora is only going to pull in more and more people to her orbit as time goes on . . {-.-}
I have my favorites of singers over all my years. But, to be perfectly honest. Nobody I've heard can bring it like Aurora. She is magical, expressive & angelic.
She is an amazing young vocalist. It is riveting. You cannot look way. She holds you with her presence and her movements and her voice is so ethereal. She emotionally draws you in with the expression in her voice and actions. There are no words to describe what a special person she is. Her music is spiritual and comes from within her
Aurora is on a whole other level as an artist. Her voice reduces me to tears, without fail. I have the utmost respect for her and how she presents her art. Definitely 1 of a kind 💕💕💕

Ageed here also
Yes i agree. Quite haunting
such an amazing performance. I hope she reacts to it!
Aurora, is not from this planet. The fact that she came here, to share her voice and her words, almost brings me to my knees. She is a true treasure, and should be protected, and embraced, at all cost.
No, she is from Bergen
Which is it's own special little world, & the home of many talented musicians.
That's what I thought, she is from the another realm.
Every time i listen to this specific recording of the song i ugly cry. It's almost unfair how beautiful it is that the message is so dark, but at the same time it's perfection.
She rips you open and heals you at the same time!
I can't agree more. It's just full of emotion.
isn't she so special....? she has the amazing ability to connect to everyone's emotional core....this song is dark - about a complicated love affair that may be "dead"............"are your dreams as dead as they seem -- I bleed in your bed, turn it red like the ground outside your window-- love is wild" (not in a good way)
Her head voice after the belting of “don’t you speak over my voice” sounds almost menacing.
@@theuniversewithin74 awesome, i still want to see her live some day.
I’m an elderly Norwegian man, and I was very moved by your reaction to what I mean is one of Aurora’s best songs.
this song is soft like a feather, but hits like a truck.
Indeed.
Also, Nic Endo ftw :) (avatar pic if someone catches this out of place comment later)
wow, yes
damn great comment and agree
Total metal guy here, heard her perform "Conqueror" on The Tonight Show years ago was totally blown away. Such an incredible performance.
It doesn't matter what music one listens to, Aurora makes anyone with some semblance of emotion *feel*.
Exactly the same here!
From what I can see a lot of metalheads love Aurora, so do I. There's something very metal about her, like the purest core of everything we love in music and in people.
Yes this is so true. I love hearing all those emotions in her pure voice
Never heard of this girl before but she's got a great voice. As a self proclaimed metal head I've gotta say, never trap yourself down in just one style or genre. Keep your ears open because there's so much great music and talent out there.
Aurora attracts a lot of metalheads. Must be because she is one herself 😊
Aurora is into metal and rave dances.
Well said :)
Good music is anything that makes you feel something. Good songs are like photographs for emotion.
Her song The Seed is just so much epic fun with a powerful message. Through the Eyes of A child at Nidarosdomen is just beautiful...
I've heard I need to listen to that whole concert.
I really liked "Running With The Wolves" acoustic version :3
@@TheCharismaticVoice and did you listen to it? 😋
Through the Eyes of A child at Nidarosdomen for the win!
The contradiction of her voice and subject is fantastic in this song. It just hits harder, and brings home the more the subject, makes you confront the result of violence in relationships
She is an incredible melody writer. Her note choices are so satisfying and memorable
I ADORE this, but it Breaks my heart EVERY time I hear it...
This one is beautiful! Aurora and Silja's harmonies are so good!
Her live versions of songs always seem so much better than her studio recordings. There’s something about the presence of her organic energy...

I'm so glad you appreciate AURORA's talent, I'm 62 and have never ever heard a voice like that... I am in awe
God bless.
Wow. Same! Came for Jinjer and now obsessed with Aurora 😂😂
Well said 👏
Seeing someone in a metal band wearing a Bjork shirt got me into her and now she is a favourite artist for similar reasons.
"Wow"...."Wow...."...."Wow"......"Wow".....exactly, just WOW, Aurora is on another level, she's breathtaking.
100% yes!
I am betting it's muscle memory and relation to the body keeping score.
I maintain that only Mick Jagger is as physical a singer as her. There, I said it.
@@HughCorbyCruick Freddie Mercury.
I watched someone brave and kind not demanding the respect and love they deserved."
All of the songs deal with abusive relationships so as unfortunate as it is she likely witnessed an abusive relationship when she was a child and wrote these songs as a way to make sense of it all and endure it.
Her sister also has bipolar disorder too so I think some of her songs she tries to see the world from her sisters perspective
You're such a sensitive, intelligent and knowledgeable person. Thank you for these videos.
Ive went thru all her videos she hasnt done through the eyes of a child in the chapel yet has she? Omg its so good.

Aroura is LIGHT AND LOVE🌞❤
Aurora's lyrics are poetic in a unique way:
Eyes blue and hollow
As it rains against their will
Feathers falling out of a pillow
As if time's standing still
I can’t remember much more
But I know it happened quiet
So quiet
Words falling out through the window
All that remains is a silent call
Is the Earth colored red?
As I land like a flower on the meadow
Love is wild
You fell apart
Like a stone can be broken into sand
A thousand pieces
Spread across a crying land
And you can’t remember that day
But you know it happened quiet
So quiet
Words falling out through the window
All that remains is a silent call
Is the Earth colored red?
As I land like a flower on the meadow
Love is wild
Are your dreams as dead as they seem?
Are your dreams as dead as they seem?
Don’t you speak over my voice
I will return from the shadows
And I’ll bleed in your bed
Turn it red
Like the ground outside your window
Love is wild
Love is wild
Love is wild
Love is wild
Ohh, God... all her inner self is crying....
Sounds like he killed her & she's going to come back to haunt him.
I actually recorded this performance. It was a pretty great day.
There’s definitely a sacred, and ancient, Nordic spiritual quality to this song, and all of Aurora’s music. She speaks deeply to me, and to many.
Sheeeeesh.....what a heavy song..im gonna go cry now
Love hove you "dissect" the song. How you go back n'forth to listen to the different elements. Very good. You have some insight girl.
Thank you, Max.
You got to listen to the studio version. The vocal harmonies are stunning!
I love how you not only analyse her voice but her poise too.
@@jordanmclaren7833 Such a good point yourself! YES! Every performance is unique in its way. I love it.
I actually prefer this one, I think in the Nidarosdomen performance she pushes it a bit too far for my liking. Gets to the edge of some shrillness.
(I realize I might be stepping on some "Warriors & Weird"-toes here, so apologies for that.)
But YES! Very happy that you are doing more Aurora!
Im a grown man. But I cried like a baby first time hearing this. Amazing
would love to see you do more AURORA videos, you are REALLY good in analyzing her.
She has the purist voice I have ever heard.
Wow! This girl is amazing. Definitely has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard.
Masterpiece. Plain and simple.

aurora is angel ,nobody comes close
That's when you know she got you
This might just be my favorite reaction to an Aurora song.
You said you are four foot three. Is that high, were you are from?
Good. My chills got chills already
thank you also so much for this deeply sincere reaction/response.
This will make my day ! Anything from Aurora is always an excellent choice.
I'm very glad that Aurora gets the honoring attention by someone competent and sensitive like Elizabeth is on this channel.
As someone in another comment said well: She is the fifth element. She must be protected at all cost.
Thank you, Yubo! She truly is the Fifth Element!
I literally can't listen to this song without crying my eyes out. Her voice has so much emotion, I can't.
When she performed this in a cathedral - the acoustics are just unbelievable and always sends shivers down my spine...check it out!

I highly recommend "Murder Song (5,4,3,2,1)" from the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert.
It makes you realize what an amazing artist she truly is.

I saw her on tv,singing, I instantly became a fan. She's so hauntingly beautiful... It didn't fail to make me cry. She's so beautiful.
Jin R. . . . I experienced the exact same feeling two years ago . . . . and it has never left

Her music is spiritual and comes from within her
This is one of my favorites...just so tragically beautiful.
