- There is only one Church.
And, I don't mean an invisible church made up of believers spread across many visible churches. Who have varying doctrines.
I mean one visible church that Christ himself started.
All other churches were started by a man, or a group of men.
But this church was founded by Christ himself.
This church still exists, and will exist until the end of time.
A careful examination of Scripture and History will reveal to anyone who truly wishes to know. Which church is the true Church.
And it does matter because Christ wants all people to be a part of this church.
Keep doing what you're doing. You express things concisely and directly. I'm Lutheran but see the truth of Catholicism and plan to convert. Please pray for me.

Prior to establishing the Mosaic Covenant, God changed Abram's name to Abraham and Jacob's name to Israel. So why is it surprising that Christ, God in the flesh, changed Simon's name to Peter prior to establishing the New Covenant and his Church? God doesn't change people's names on a whim, it always means something. His promises to that Church still stand, 2000 years later -- they haven't been broken and never will be.

Spiritual unity does not depend on physical unity. Your implication is that all of God's children are the same when the reality is that they are each uniquely different.
Unity that seems to be the "fruit" of being a Catholic is exactly what is wrong with the Church.
It is a Middle Ages church when God was our judge and everything was about sin and its avoidance!
Christianity is all about Jesus and imitating what He did when He was on Earth.
Jesus is not about ceremony (Catholicism!), but about love, charity, and acceptance.
The reality is that all of God's children are uniquely different and so the Catholic Church's effort to homogenize all Christians is not what God wants!

That's the point I am making. If Catholics are the true Christians, protestants are not. If Catholics go to heaven, protestants can't sit down with Catholics. Your hatred for Catholic Church proves that there is no physical unity in earth which means there cannot be spiritual unity in heaven. Where Catholics go, protestants cannot come.
And we Catholics definitely do not want to follow where protestants go.
Protestantism is founded on rebelling against Catholic teachings.
Protestantism survives because of their sustained propaganda. Protestants are united by their common hatred for the Catholic Church.
The fact is, if Catholicism is true, Protestantism has no legitimacy to exist.
History is against Protestantism. Protestantism has no continuous history dating back to the Apostles.
Protestants also don't have the Bible of their own. They use Catholic Bible. They accept catholic tradition that the 27 books of the Bible are scripture even though no particular book claims itself to be scripture except the book of Revelation. The fact that protestants recognise the Catholic teaching that the Bible is the inspired word of God shows that the Catholic Church is the true Church.
It must be noted that there is no scriptural verse that supports the establishment of Protestant churches.
Protestant pastors too are invalid pastors. The office of Protestant pastors is funny. It has no authority received from heaven or from the Apostles. These pastors are just hired teachers who can be dismissed by the deacon Board.
The fact that there are serious doctrinal differences amongst the protestants proves that they have doctrinal errors which means Protestant churches are false churches inspired by the spirit of rebellion.

Read the four gospels and everything Jesus said , Those are the early church leaders you should learn from . Read God's written word for your truth and not someone's opinion of God's written word.

Read Bishop St. Ignatius of Antioch. He was one of the children Jesus blessed and was trained in ministry by St. John the Apostle. So you know his teaching is pure.

For my part I don´t think it is that simple. When i say "Gods true church" I mean precisely what you said you didn´t mean at the start of the video. I think that today the large differences are often more straight through denominations than between them. I´m formally a protestant, Lutheran, but I sometimes visit the Catholic church or other denominations. I believe the caatholic vicar in our town is a very good preacher, and I believ he has The Holy Spirit. I think some catholic priests have and I think some Lutherena priests have, some orthodox priests have, some pentecostal pastors have etc. On the other hand I think there are many menbers and also preachers in different denominations that have not. I allways choose theologically conservative preachers, preaching the classic christian message about repentance and salvation. This does not mean that I am unaware of that there are some theological differences between the preachers I choose, or that I would believe all "are right on the issues where they differ" (which of course would not be logic), but it means that I think they are close to Christ, saved in Christs blood, and include the most important things in their preaching. I respect the pope, even if I believe that he at times has gotten somewhat too close to "liberal-theologian" positions on some issues.

Um, there are plenty of Christian churches. To say that this is the only true church is inaccurate and divisive. If that’s what you want, then okay. Truthfully, The Catholic Church does not resemble the early church of Acts at all. It hasn’t since the 300’s. It’s the first denomination that came from the early church, but that’s about it. I would state these verses for y’all as hopefully a true understanding of what denominations mean: Mark 9:38-41. If you all truly believe Jesus is your savior and without him you would be lost then we are truly brothers in Christ. If you don’t and think anyone else is responsible for your salvation but Jesus, then you need to find him soon. The End is Near. Let’s quit flying our denominational “team” flags and start living a life that the non believers notice in a good way.

No Protestant has ever been able to explain why personal interpretation, if guided by the Holy Spirit has resulted in 000’s sects proving that either the Holy Spirit is wrong or more likely, Protestantism! There are none so blind as those with a darkened intellect which the Holy Spirit obviously isn’t enlightening!
Consider the damage caused to society by relativism, caused by there being many “truths” of Protestantism which have resulted in contraception, which until 1930, all denominations prohibited until the Anglican broke away in 1930, abortion, IVF, divorce, SSM, LGBGT, transgenderism etc. Protestantism has a lot to answer for!

In Rev.13, the first beast is secular Rome that persecuted Christians. In AD476, it received a mortal wound by Odoacer, when Romulus became the last Caesar. The beast was revived as papal Rome, which resume persecuting Christians, more fiercely than pagan Rome.

History shows Rome was Pagan till 300 plus years later, and Peter was dead by that time. He never gave that authority to anyone, which is why the Catholic church is not led by a Prophet or Apostles. I challenge that you study this through and look for the church that has that same foundation as the primitive church Jesus organized himself with a Prophet and Apotles.
Rev. 17 speaks of a beast that sits on 7 mountains and persecutes the holy ones of God, but the Catholic Church doesn’t sit on “7 mountains”. Vatican City rests on Vatican Hill, which lies across the river from the 7 hills of old Rome, where Christians were crucified and fed to the lions. Scholars agree that the “beast” in revelation symbolizes a Roman emperor like Nero or the Roman Empire as a whole because of its violent persecution of the Church in the first century. Search history correctly! Catholic here.
Formal religion is no longer important to educated people!
Once young people who live in a Catholic home move out of the house, they choose to not go to church.
Why? Young people are not the "fearful people" their parents were.
They are educated and realize that the "formality" of a religion doesn't make it more correct!
It is what motivates our heart to do what Jesus actually taught that is important:
to love, to reach out with charity, and to accept those in our lives with full acceptance that is true religion!
The Catholic Church with its emphasis on liturgy, vestments, sacramentals is a Middle Ages religion that propagates the idea:

Biblical verses, formal buildings, the attitude that "we are the only true church" do not count in our modern generation.
This is why people don’t even know what gender they are. In the future you are going to want a formal religion. The two you will have to choose from is the Catholic Church or Islam. Without a formal religion there are no standards or rules. The people who have order will dominate the disordered. If you don’t want the boot of Islam on your neck, I highly suggest you start going to the one true church that Jesus Christ started.

A devout Catholic told me that once a Catholic priest said to him that the Catholic Church has 8 sacraments. He asked the priest what the 8th sacrament was. The priest said bingo. Ac true believer knows that if God calls a man or woman to do a work then God will supply the means to accomplish that work. A true believer does not need to use carnal means to accomplish God's work. It is estimated that one Canadian a day commits suicide over his/her gambling addiction. @@skippy8696 Peter was not the first leader of the church; James the half-brother of Christ was. He was the bishop of the church at Jerusalem. In Acts 15 at conference where Peter was present it is James who gives the verdict(Acts 15:13). In Galatians the Apostle Paul took authority over Peter and rebuked him for his hypocrisy. (Galatians 2:11-13). In Galatians 2:9 Paul mentions James, Cephas, and John as those who seem to be pillars of the church. He is mentioned second after James. Peter is a leader but not the overall leader. Peter disappears after Acts 16 but Paul is mentioned prominently. Also I do volunteer work at a Mission downtown. There is a Native lady, Marlene, who was in a residential school. In 1962 in Kamloops, British Columbia a Roman Catholic priest sexually abused her. She spent years with addiction and mental problems. Fortunately she heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and got saved through faith in Christ. One Monday night, a man, Tim, was preaching the gospel. A Native man about 60, blurted out"My mother was raped by a priest". At the Mission we deal with people who have been abused and treated badly. We tell them there is salvation in Christ.

So here we have the theory that what group I am with has to be the Right one or the Most accurate one , or the Only church group that you must be in? I have not found any denominational group that tells me it is the only church group to be in. What I have found is the denominational church groups I have been to , saying they are part of the body of Christ but they certainly never say they are the exclusive one and only body of Christ.

You have been taught that the roman Catholic church is the one and only church with infallible authority and you accepted that teaching without questioning the concept.
If you study scripture for your truth as Jesus quoted scripture, not wise people in the neighborhood , then you too would be questioning parts of this video. Notice I said parts?
Just because someone quotes some scriptures does not mean they are correct , you need to know the scriptures to judge if they are correct and just like any denomination there are subtle concepts that have no part in the truth of the scriptures , that are portrayed as truth to the people listening who do not question.
